I like it but you can feel that the app has a lot of potential but it did not evolve There would be a lot to fix from the usability of the interface to the compatibility with iPhone 5 and up A bit disappointing that the app was released but never curated and maintained Nice

I consider myself a bit of a typeophile and typefaces are my passion From the obscure to the standard these fonts will keep you guessing for hours The gameplay is utterly addictive and the simple interface makes the rounds quick and enjoyable An update with an extended typeface collection would be killer but Im sure there could be some rights issues Great job ILT A must for design nerds everywhere
I love the game well designed and smooth play I am seeing a lot of fonts that I would like to learn more about Please add a feature that will allow user to browse through the fonts in the app Maybe even tag certain ones that you like during the game so you can take a closer look later I fully expected this to be tied to a site to buy fonts but its not go figure Love it

Fun way to practice font recognition This game combined with Wikipedia has brought my typography awareness up dramatically in just a few days However the app does crash on nongame related screens settings favorites and Id love both more words and the additional games available on the iPad Inapp purchase Id pay Great practice

I wish it had a local high scores list in addition to the global one I know it must keep track because it tells you when you score your personal best but It would be nice to see that score somewhere so you know what youre trying to beat Its fun

In see answers mode when Im zooming in on a font I am unable to swipe leftright to navigate to the other fonts How can I improve when you make the study of the fonts so hard Love it But fix that please One big problem
I found this app unexpectedly addictive I felt proud when I recognized Fonts right away on the exceedingly difficult setting and kicked myself a few times for mixing up arial and helvetica under pressure More fonts are always welcome of course but I thought the list was pretty deep already Well done educational fun to play
Cool idea but the game gets old fast because it only provides one word Fargo to learn all the fonts I dont feel like Im learning much because I cant see what other words would look like in each font Sick to death of fargo

I have only good things to say about The Font Game It has a beautiful interface thoughtful navigation and endless playability The Terminology Game is certainly great for students and people interested in learning how to speak about typography with precise lingo The Guess The Font Game is fun and challenging The ability to save your favorite typefaces is handy for remembering interesting new discoveries and it might also a be a good reference when considering future font purchases Hours of fontnerdy fun
The developer knows about the settings crash and even has a crash log to work with but cant be bothered to issue an update for what would surely be a simple fix There is no reason to buy an app from some guys who dont care to put the slightest effort into helping their customers especially when the App Store is full of so many developers who do care Pass on this app Oh and add a word other than fargo Settings crash developer is aware

I love this app as a designer to test my knowledge I only wish that the word Fargo would change to other words to make it more challenging Yay typography
This app is great for testing yourself but falls short for learning The font disappears too quickly for any kind of positive or negative reinforcement Once you select a name in the list the word disappears before you can look at it and associate it with your selection right or wrong Pretty more of a test than a study aid
What a great way to learn fonts With a beautiful interface no crashes to date and a huge library of fonts this will keep the fontlover in a stupor for days on end Update the dev is easily the most approachable and quickresponding dev ever Perfect service and it looks like new and better things are coming Fantasic Game

This would be a fivestar rating but the app crashes when I hit the Back button after changing the difficulty This makes it impossible to confirm the difficulty changes and therefore the game gets very boring and predictable Cant Change Difficulty
As a graphic designer this is a great game to keep me focused on the several different fonts The terminology is great and I use it as a lesson to know the different parts of a typeface However 1 There is a bug that crashes the app after I changed the settings Its forever stuck at extremely difficult Even if I leave that alone I cant even switch on the highlight answer option because it will also crash the app Please fix this 2 I wish there wasnt a lot of decorative fonts in the game Sure theyre nice but Im not going to use them for every project I hope there are some more variety Hope this review helps to anyone reading it Good game but
Same Settings problem here It would be a great exercise and Id recommend it to all design students if only I could change the settings without it crashing After some hunting I found you can change the difficulty under your iPhone Settings Word variations would be nice so we can get the full alphabet Settings Issue
The idea is good and the interface is nicely designed but I thought there would be a bit more curation in the typeface chosen to be tested on If this is suppose to be for designers then it should be legit well designed typefaces that should be used not poorly crafted decorative typefaces that no one should ever use or have to identify Dissapointed
Couldnt wait to get my new iPhone so I could get this app and use it for teaching in my college typography class It made all the difference Learning fonts and terminology suddenly became interesting and fun something that is lost on beginning students sometimes Helps me keep up to date too Great fun and great learning tool too Thanks Fonts can be fun
This is a neat app and it is good for practicing typeface identification But I wish you could changerandomize the default wordphrase Its always FARGO The user ends up memorizing what the word FARGO looks like in different typefaces and not really learning the slight nuances of varying typefaces I guess it is a game and not a learning app However It could be BOTH if they made that change I mentioned It still is a good app and I recommend it Always FARGO

Sorry Font Fox this game is less flashy but has more typefaces Both are great this is better Way better than Font Fox
