I bought this app in the past they performed an update After the update the application no longer worked on my iPhones or my iPad I will be forced to buy this application again if I want to use I tried contacting their customer support and it is nonexistent So unless you want to buy this app every time they do an update don t buy it Go with the free apps you ll be much happier as this application doesn t provide any more data than the free applications in the App Store     Dont get this app bulldogMP
Touch Press is great and all but please don t brand each app icon It s an eyesore             Elements is nice Matt San
I loved this app it was very well done and the photography was splendid But there are some new elements that need to be updated and I have some ideas Nihonium Flag or coat of arms of Japan Moscovium Same thing but with the Moscow Oblast Tennessine Same thing but with Tennessee Oganesson A picture of Yuri Oganessian Thanks bye great job D                     Good needs an update deet0109
How about an update There are at least some new element names                 Update Bass Bone
This app is engaging and beautifully done Not just for chemistry students We have the book and I m glad we got the app too Recommend it for all ages Even my preschooler and elementary school kids are fascinated with and play with this app We got the parallel Elements Flashcard app and it is a game to them                     Amazing app L.B. Beurmann
You pay 20 for the Periodic Table that can be looked up online for free     Waste of Money Cytchfjcfhjcfhjchgmcvhj
One of the best app on App Store thanks                     Great Jacksfq
This is probably the coolest application I have ever downloaded for educational purposes there are great discriptions of each element and the pictures are very high quality My only complaint is that when you purchase the application for your iphone it is not compatable with your macbook and you have to buy another 20 application its really conveninet to have on your phone so you can pull it up throught the day but in class or while doing homework the computer version would be much more efficent I dont think users should pay for both platfoms                 Great Product JessyA.
Educational and interesting                 Nice app --**
Please fully support this app for Iranian and add Persian language More than 110M people speaking Persian but no Persian language in the app                     Persian Language iAi95
The element program is wonderful and provides visuals and history and knowledge of the stuff the world is made of My disappointment was when the App Store would not allow me to buy the 3 app bundle I sent email to company and they have been slow to respond It is frustrating that I tried to purchase the entire bundle and it only downloaded the element app I hope it s not some incompatibility to iPad Pro or the latest iOS I was also noticing the 3D ability would glitch and only rotate one of the two images so it would pop in and out of 3D The images would not turn in synchronization and even freeze Minor issues I hope they get resolved                 Unable to purchase complete bundle R3bdo
The actual scientific information like electron configuration melting points etc is crammed into a slim window of small text to the right The rest of the screen is used for wasting half a gigabyte of your devices storage to present useless graphics of what the element looks like to the naked eye     Bloated and overpriced WhyTheNickGuys?
Superb organization of the facts and I enjoy the humor However the percentages of the elements in the ocean show impossibly high numbers X times 10 to a huge power                     Great Presentation for iPad C22iMac
I love it It is the perfect mix of science entertainment and Tom Leher And is incredibly educational                     Absolutely outstanding BobDog90807
If you like chemistry or know nothing about chemistry this is for you This app is like a book with descriptions applications and richly detailed photographs of every element This app contains marvelous data but the written portion is not technical and an introduction is also found in the book It is essential to learn about the universe around you And this is the app for that I recommend this on an iPad                     Fantastic -App Guy-
Outstanding learning experience I love the 3D images and practical knowledge this app uses to teach the elements                     Brilliant Keerie
Such an interesting way to kill time on my phone I d much rather do this than play a game Thanks for making such an interesting way to explore the table                     Love it Ross29
About half of the element descriptions are cut off in mid sentence on my iPhone 6 Plus iOS 8 4 1 thru 9 2 Problem was reported on 9 17 15 and has not been fixed as of 12 15 15 Totally unresponsive customer support Will revise rating if and when problem is fixed     Truncated Element Descriptions on iPhone 6 Plus F0112358
Amazing app No further explanation needed                     Amazing App NathanRuehle
It brings the periodic table to life If you re taking chemistry or just love science this is a wonderful app But it is a big app so don t get it if you only have the 16 GB iPad                     This is the best possible way to experience the periodic table the0nly0ne
Good Application but needs to Arabic language and to support the Middle East this good and important information             3 Star Nawaf Ghassan
So you bought your shiny new iOS device with all that extra storage Excellent decision Because this is a classic example of what kind of app belongs on your iPhone or iPad You and your family will enjoy using this and appreciate the thought and care that went into those animations I also own the gorgeous print edition of this book the app just gets more reading time and general use It is informative and fun to read and even little ones will like spinning crystals and other elemental objects while you explain their significance Little Scientists need to start somewhere The fact that I can carry these I also own the companion apps they re different but so worth it all on my phone and get them on my iPad too at no extra charge same account is truly amazing                     These are the apps you were looking for Robert Fernando
Like title says presentation is visually awesome but not much else There are free apps that give you more info on chemistry peri table and the information it does have is basic at best HS chem Not worth the money         Presentation is good not much else theBackground.
But I have to note some serious issues on turkish translation most instances are pretty obvious on carbon but they are everywhere                     Impressive piece of art LeventD
Couldn t be happier with this app Get the entire collection as they re all linked together and are incredibly informative fun to explore Best money I ve ever spent on the app store                     This is what the iPad was made for DungeonMeowster
Doesn t feel like an essential lol app anymore There s nothing that cannot be found in his Elements In Action and a good reference app like EleMints or Wolfram Alpha proper Missing mass spectroscopy lines and other pertinent info that is included on the flashcards paper not app book Kinda clunky in its display though it loads smoothly Ok app in the 3 5 range not more Not sure how much it took to produce this so I do not want to discredit the designers author I do enjoy the paper flashcards book But I won t mince words I don t remember there being info cribbed from Wolfram Alpha in the physical copies or this app in 2010 even if it makes it easier to keep entries up to date I would have liked to have seen the original info or entries comparable to other periodic apps Seemed the book was less minimalist It s cool to see actual examples but I wanted more             Missing something Arystarxys
the end of the wolfram alpha content is sometimes cut in the middle of a sentence carbon and nitrogen for instance when reading in French and on iPhone 6 I switched the app to English it s still a little bit cut at times but readable When making paid apps you should make sure that the main functionalities are working flawlessly         Interesting but Tadaaa75
Buy elements in action Cheaper and better         Don t waste your money Syberiyxx
Nice pictures it s cool how it rotates I think that this app is great don t know why so many people are leaving bad reviews                     Nice app TrentVano
I really liked this app but when it came to sale I purchased it The way in which elements are arranged is nice and the 3d view of them is also great but one thing I d liked to mention is that the size of app is too much large Its whooping 1 7 GB but I got a 64 GB iPhone 6 and its working fine but for those having a 16 GB model would be a trouble Next thing is the information Information in this app is not according to its worth when it was 13 99 I m lucky I ve not purchased it then Overall it would be great if the size was small a more information was added to it         Good but not enough hamzaazz
There are random unfinished sentences which make me sad                 Great app But Otsuzkgzkgxlgxlh
It seems intended for children Starts with a kindergarten doing about all the elements sort of like the alphabet song The interface looks dated think 1998 style websites The narrative descriptions are informal not professional The onky useful info is pulled from Wolfram Alpha which makes me wonder why I am paying for this app I could go straight to Wolfram In short even at 80 discount it s not worth the money         Disappointed Monk22442
Large App with lots of pictures but hardly any information for example it shows you a picture of a person but no info about it A waste of money If you ask me         Too basic deaflistener
Very nice app very informative Researching the isotopes for each element would make the app perfect                     How about a companion app covering isotopes Trevarski
Worth every penny                     Amazing Ratoo
Although Elements looks great at first glance it very quickly bottoms out It s like an impressive movie facade without much behind it My first exploration was to learn about bronze Although I could read the properties of copper and tin and see one ornamental example I learned nothing about bronze in history which had a lot more to do with tools and weapons than art Given we have named a whole era after this metal I was expecting a lot more context and depth And with the relatively high price of this app the lack of depth is particularly disappointing     More glitz than substance Tecsi
It s beautiful but it s lacking a little mostly in that the graphics and look a bit over compressed but the program is HUGE so they have no choice but to compress it Everything is spinable or has video It s pretty neat I wish I had this for science class I m a science geek but I really thought I d play with it for HOURS Not the case so that s a little disappointing considering the cost They ve definitely made some improvements The text is better I think it was graphics before and it s very easy to enlarge shrink All the element data from Wolfram appears to be in the program before it seemed like it was downloading it every time I think this could easily be a 5 star app And for the price it should be                 I ve been wanting this for a long time Gary LaPointe http://GarySaid.com/
Pro It s a great multimedia app localized to a lot of languages including Russian It s best with Elements in Action application You can really feel each element scientific data pictures stories and with EiA videos Cons It takes too much memory so this app is often the first candidate for deletion Could we use some compression technology on the fly unload unused languages have a choice of high low resolution Also the price is too big by AppStore standards Advice feature request it would be nice to see atoms and crystal pictures as larger 3D models Also the way to change pages is counter intuitive                 Great but expensive Арви
So here we have a brilliant App a wonderful learning tool and reference Almost It s very pretty but the additional information tabs are filled with one persons idiotic politics and personal views on each element I m sorry but sometimes your libtard politics are just not appropriate and imbedding them Orwellian style into a learning app is just well Orwellian It s shady cowardly and just grotesque Throwing whatever scientific credibility the author may have had right in the garbage So please save your cowards political views for your undoubtedly super special blog and let science be science you know REAL information honest data not one persons twisted views         Lovely layout filled with politics Revlis335
I use this app in my classroom to supplement our science curriculum The kids love it It helps them see the elements and their uses and functions The songs one in English and one in Japanese are also very fun and makes learning about the elements more engaging                     Love this app Pecosa2
I love this app and it has been very helpful but I think that there are a few problems I think that Copernicium s symbol is Uub not Cn                 Good app but a few problems Johnmakuta
I love this app it s amazing and helps my study I love every thing about it if your interested in science I highly recommend it                     AMAZING APP Queenleen5
Although this app makes a great showcase to impress your friends with your newest iOS device it goes far far beyond that Specifically what makes this App amazing is Mr Gray s fantastic descriptions of each and every element Concise accurate and most of all interesting I directly attribute my son s love of science to this App and later Mr Gray s works in print I have purchased over 500 Apps since I bought my first iPhone but The Elements stands out as my single favorite purchase You will get lost in this especially if you have children Buy it                     An Absolute Must Have Ubisububi
Gives very little info No added value for the price Tries to upsell a companion app before delivering on its own price Boo     Worthless
Nice pictures its cool how it rotates I think that this app is great dont know why so many people are leaving bad reviews                 Nice app
The Elements A Visual Exploration This app is big beautiful and expansive in scope and information When bought with its sister app The Elements in Action you can view the stats and read about each in the Elements then toggle to view them in use or Action The text is comprehensive and the photos which can be viewed and rotated in 3D are stunning This is really a terrific learning tool for older elementary students through adults Since I bought the sister app at time of purchase I do not know if there is IAP for it There are no ads or links Highly recommended                 Fabulous
There are random unfinished sentences which make me sad              Great app But
Thanks                 Love touchpress apps
Large App with lots of pictures but hardly any information for example it shows you a picture of a person but no info about it A waste of money If you ask me        Too basic
This App would be MUCH better if the comments related to the Green Agenda were omitted Look at Tungsten for example The truth is when CFC lamps fail mercury is deposited in our landfills no mention made of that And mercury is much more harmful than tungsten ever was a FACT I like the photographs and the 360 degree rotation capability So scrub the Green propaganda and the App will get higher marks from me              Great App Except for the Green propaganda
This app is great It has everything you could ever want to know about an element I totally recommend it for the iPad 2 It does cost 14 but I still love it Ps For all of you who think it takes too long to download or is too expensive then I think you should know that this guy had to photographfilm all of the pics and such in here So it must have taken a while So no complaining Pps It doesnt seem to crash for my iPad 2 with the latest iOS                 Love it
Great app thanks                 Nice app

The title says it all The only reason for any stars is that the app is really very good However to be offered the opportunity to purchase an add on to increase functionally after spending 14 is just greed For that kind of money everything should be included        14 and still an ad to purchase something
Buy elements in action Cheaper and better        Dont waste your money
Cool images but a lot of annoying editorializing about incandescent light bulbs Fact is that compact fluorescents which the author raves about are hideous and already outdated technology LED and halogen are probably the future of lighting Could have done without the authors strident lightbulb opinions that surface in many of the elements descriptions        Cool images
The most beautiful edu app I have ever seen A very nice gift for student who is studying chem                 beautiful and elegant
This is a great way to learn and get familiar with elements I love how the author includes little stories on most of the elements The pictures are done very well you can spin them and see all sides Love this app                 I absolutely love this app
Beautiful entertaining and educational                 Theo Gray is an enthusiasm engineer
This app is a lot of fun and has great facts and examples but is NOT worth the 1399        Just ok
I use this app in my classroom to supplement our science curriculum The kids love it It helps them see the elements and their uses and functions The songs one in English and one in Japanese are also very fun and makes learning about the elements more engaging                 Love this app
This is the most awesome periodic table I have only a few requests 1 add stock names 2 add classical names 3 add a list of monatomic and polyatomic ions if possible              Needs Stock Classical Name Systems
This is a beautiful app the look feel responsiveness are all top notch and its well worth the price But heres the thing unlike many more well designed apps all of the content is stored on the iPad rather than on a remote server Storage on our iOS devises is valuable stuff in fact the average cost per Gb is about 15 In my opinion his is a high price to pay to store local data on my iPad when this app could consume less than 20Mb of space Basically my complaint being that I dont need this data offline enough to warent the size it consumes Its a fantastic app with an equally fantastic flaw I hope to see the content moved to an online server in some upcoming version              Storage hog
All the Touch Press app are fantastic This is their flagship product And it is very informative Alongwith their other app Elements in Action this app introduces to all elements with fun while learning A must have for students                 The biggest in size and the best app in my collection
Couldnt be happier with this app Get the entire collection as theyre all linked together and are incredibly informative fun to explore Best money Ive ever spent on the app store                 This is what the iPad was made for
Although this app makes a great showcase to impress your friends with your newest iOS device it goes far far beyond that Specifically what makes this App amazing is Mr Grays fantastic descriptions of each and every element Concise accurate and most of all interesting I directly attribute my sons love of science to this App and later Mr Grays works in print I have purchased over 500 Apps since I bought my first iPhone but The Elements stands out as my single favorite purchase You will get lost in this especially if you have children Buy it                 An Absolute MustHave

I loved this is app because it was an interesting and informative periodic table that showed all the elements examples atomic structure and there is no point of this review I just want everyone to read this how is you day Good Bad Why Well no I am not a narcissist Why would you say that                 Read this message
Fascinating Deserves more than 5 stars High quality photos intuitive app usefully information Just awesome                 10 out 10 Awesome
Great app but it doesnt do a very good job of keeping your place When you leave out of the app and then come back in it takes you back to home screen Clicking on the right arrow button is supposed to take you the next element but it seems to skip some elements           Confusing navigation no bookmarks
I relied on it being presented by the same people who presented The Wasteland I assumed this app would be as good It isnt not even close The opening isnt the periodic table its happy faces and icons Click one and read a summary from Wolfram Alpha Want to learn more as promised Easy click the icon for learn more and buy the companion app Use Google its more informative and free of irritation and cost     Disappointed
I dont usually write reviews but this app is amazing and you can tell a lot of time went into the creation of it The 3d items you can spin around are great to look at especially because you can manipulate them and turn them the descriptions and stories about the elements are interesting to read Definitely would recommend getting this app if you like chemistry                 Amazing
Latest update broken on iPhone 6 plus Working well until update but now screen is cut off halfway over Looking forward to getting this fixed asap           DO NOT UPGRADE
I love this app Beautiful images rich facts about the stuff everything is made of However the constant babel about compact fluorescent bulbs versus incandescent is tiring and unnecessary Please just provide the science and leave the opinions to the reader        Great app but
I really liked this app but when it came to sale I purchased it The way in which elements are arranged is nice and the 3d view of them is also great but one thing Id liked to mention is that the size of app is too much large Its whooping 17 GB but I got a 64 GB iPhone 6 and its working fine but for those having a 16 GB model would be a trouble Next thing is the information Information in this app is not according to its worth when it was 1399 Im lucky Ive not purchased it then Overall it would be great if the size was small a more information was added to it        Good but not enough
Good program but needs to Arabic language and to support the Middle East this good and important information           3 Star
You are awesome                 Cool
I highly recommend this app                 Great App
I love this app and it has been very helpful but I think that there are a few problems I think that Coperniciums symbol is Uub not Cn              Good app but a few problems
Doing a 15GB download for unspecified minor bug fixes is a pain Not that it matters that much because the app is too huge and bloated to carry around on my iPhone and iPad anyway even after paying 20 for both versions just before they were combined into one version for half the money Bleah                 Cool but
While the photos are beautiful the text content leaves much to be desired It is long on the authors personal opinion commentary and anecdote short on facts history chemistry industrial applications and commercial information Personally I never get tired of reading the venerable CRC Handbook section titled The Elements My suggestion is to license that content and make it available in the application In fact that is sort of what I was hoping to find here I dont regret spending the money for the app but mainly it is valuable to me because I already have deep knowledge in chemistry and physics To a student or someone coming from another field I think it would have much less value           Beautiful eye candy thin on content
I love this app its amazing and helps my study I love every thing about it if your interested in science I highly recommend it                 AMAZING APP
Ive purchased Hard Copy before Lucky to have its corresponding iOS apps both on iPhone and iPad I do love to read it everyday                 One of my favorite apps
This is one of the most useful educational apps I have ever come across The way the content is laid out with its interactive interface is resourceful and clever It is a top notch educational tool                 Top Notch
It seems intended for children Starts with a kindergarten doing about all the elements sort of like the alphabet song The interface looks dated think 1998 style websites The narrative descriptions are informalnot professional The onky useful info is pulled from Wolfram Alpha which makes me wonder why I am paying for this app I could go straight to Wolfram In short even at 80 discount its not worth the money        Disappointed
Tried to update app in iTunes reports as corrupted and will not download Deleted previous version v20 and it still will not download reports as a corrupted file Note Previous version v20 of app shows a blank icon in iTunes library The app seems to have updated correctly in both my iPhone 5S and iPad Air direct wireless update not thru iTunes     Cannot update app or download again
Very nice app very informative Researching the isotopes for each element would make the app perfect                 How about a companion app covering isotopes
Its beautiful but its lacking a little mostly in that the graphics and look a bit over compressed but the program is HUGE so they have no choice but to compress it Everything is spinable or has video Its pretty neat I wish I had this for science class Im a science geek but I really thought Id play with it for HOURS Not the case so thats a little disappointing considering the cost Theyve definitely made some improvements The text is better I think it was graphics before and its very easy to enlargeshrink All the element data from Wolfram appears to be in the program before it seemed like it was downloading it every time I think this could easily be a 5 star app And for the price it should be              Ive been wanting this for a long time
This is a great app Really cool and helpful I love how interactive it is 8 bravo                 Really cool and helpful
Worth every penny                 Amazing
