Love reading the News in my I pad and the new app is a great improvement Detroit News App
I used to read it almost every day But you got rid of the obits and now I glance at it on occasion Missing data
Well organized and easy to read The layout is user friendly The writing is sound although some of the local stories occasionally seem not very newsworthy More effort should be made to cover world events But If you are looking for a purely local paper whose focus is primarily on Michigan events then this your paper Solid local paper
I like this app The news is nicely formatted and a pleasure to use The only negative I have is there doesnt appear to be a way to read the comments about the news articles or make them I find the comment section often more informative than the article itself Nice Format No comments

The update is great many updates seem to be a step backwards This is definitely a steep forward Everything is easy to find and easy to read Youd be crazy if you didnt get it Very nice
The News has good coverage but my only concern is since USA Today now owns the News and the Detroit Free Press their web presence tends to all look the samedo something a little different for gods sake Good coverage

Ive been using this app for quite awhile and I think its a well organized and easily navigated site Unfortunately while flipping through photos of a house that used to be a school a DTE advertisement appeared which I can not eliminate and I cant leave the ad so Im going to delete the app Froze up Cant use
