Temperature Now!

Channel 7 WXYZ The Weather Channel apps both show 37 My outdoor thermometer shows 32 but this app shows 14     Not very reliable

Before I review this product Id just like to say the following to all of you that bash apps 1 Talking all that trash is not helpful to the developer nor anyone else that reads your review when they are seeking good solid intel about an app before purchasing or downloading and I for one skip over the ones just slamming the dev or app 2 at ANY time you purchase ANY app and it either doesnt work or doesnt do what it was listed to do all you have to do is email Apple via the AppStore and they will give you a 100 refund So why not state the facts so the dev can work the bugs out I know its frustrating to buy an app and it not work correctly I always research apps via Google or other sources prior to purchasing Ok about this app First time I fired it up it found my local immediately as it should using GPS but the temp displayed in Celsius and so when I switched over to Fahrenheit it just cycled over and over and has yet to display ANY temp again since Ive shut the app down numerous times and restarted but still a no go Get this kink ironed out and I assure you it will be a useful app Also I know your at this to make money but based on its limited to one function I think if you would merge the humidity app in with this one the 99 cents would be a bit more reasonable Also my device is an iPhone 4 Hope this helps Work this out and Ill give you 5 stars 4 stars if you dont merge the two apps T Lamm MCSE Security Specialist ANetworkSecurity        Needs a little work

Latest version 20 post update Temperatures are lesswrong than before but still inconsistent and wrong by 510 deg F This App is a scam AVOID     Does Not Do what it says on the box

I would actually give this a 3 12 because it does not put the temperature on the icon and it doesnt work with Launch but is listed in the supported apps The good things are easy layout accurate info and an easy to read 7 day forecast              Spclkdsmom

Application starts out just fine but the temperature at least for New Jersey is very far off All other apps show around 70 degrees but this application shows 87 degrees Makes the application as is pretty useless     Not accurate

So far so good Picked it up for free today turned on my location came right up and temp in C Changed it to F and no problems Shut down phone iphone 4 and came back still ok Looks good to me              Get it free

The temps are off by 20 F at times This is maddening because the temps might be correct an hour later I keep waiting on an update in the App Store        Inaccurate at times

Great but sometimes the number badge doesnt show up The temp might need to be refreshed sometimes to keep an accurate temp Also it would be better if it displayed temp for the week and other locations this is after all 1           Ok

Original review follows but developer fixed the issue on his side emailed me that it had been fixed and asked me to try the program again It now works Bravo And hats off for the quick response and fix Shows location so i know it found me but reports null no temperature at all Tried wifi and cellular connection No temperature Deleted Waste of money              No temperature at all now fixedby developer

Such a unique use of notifications and great to see the current temp at a glance Data is always up to date one of the coolest apps in the store                 Love it

By default the app comes set to Celsius which is why the temperature difference may have not been what they expected I just clicked the Fahrenheit button and the correct temperature was shown All in all for a free app it does what I wanted To display the outside temperature as a live app tile on my main sceen                 Works well other users feedback is incorrect

App 39 Degrees Not even close i believe the Twc app 80 Nuff said deleted Just sent me a notification for a cipper app maybe thats the actual purpose of the app cant really be temp     Temp challenged

I stopped using the program a good while ago because it always reports a higher temperature than what we are having I got the notice to shut down and relaunch because back end modifications had been made I figured maybe they had fixed it but it is still reporting 10 too high The humidity program works though     Still gives the wrong temperature

It was my favorit wether app but after last apdating it doesnt work any more              Doesnt work

The F is completely wrong by 50 degrees but the C seems to be the actual F degree     Not good until update

I like the simplicity of the app Unfortunately the displayed temp in both Celsius and Fahrenheit are way off compared to 3 other Wx apps It looks like the app drills down to the county level That may not be close enough and could account for the inaccuracy Maybe it should allow the user to enter a zip code           Good idea but needs work

Here is the exact email I sent to the developer after I downloaded this app and found out that is doesnt work Hi I just downloaded Temperature Now yesterday and the temperature has been wrong by at least 5 almost 10 degrees consistently I hate to complain but since this is the only function of this app it is difficult not to Please let me know if there is some hope of improving this accuracy with an update SOON Ive also noticed that the temperatureeven though it is wronghas a tendency to not auto update and will only update when the app is opened It is also a bummer that the user cannot choose the exact location that they want Thanks     Doesnt Work

The temperature it gave me for my location was so off over 20 degrees off Thank God I got this app when it was free I would have been so upset if I had paid for it     Where do they get the temperature from

Not sure what went wrong with the 31 update but 2 phones different carriers one updated the other still on 30 and both are CTD upon opening app 90 of the time Looking forward to the next update soon to fix this        Introduced Crashing

EDIT Doesnt crash when updating or finding initial location via wifi BUT current temp is 14 degrees F lower than that reported for my location by Accuweather The Weather Channel both of which are the same So doesnt crash over wifi but wildly inaccurate data Disappointment original review Crashes quits every single time right as it zooms to your location Never gets far enough to get your location thus never starts displaying a temp badge Useless until this is fixed This is on an iphone 4 wno apps running in background and lots of free memory     Does not work crashes b4 setup on 3G

It works all you have to do is make sure it is on fahrenheit instead of celsius or whichever way you want                 It works

The gps map is accurate but the temp must be coming from another country Get Fahrenheit Now it works perfectly        Shows temp from some other location

App doesnt work properly in New York The app says it is 90 degrees when it is only 70 This app would be awesome if it was accurate I will leave it on my phone and see if it corrects itself or wait for an update that will correct it I have wanted this type of app for a long time The fact that you wouldnt have to open the app for the temperature is a great idea     Denise

Good idea but it does not update after device sleeps User must click on it in order to manually refresh To lamm2003 who suggests the dev combine this with the humidity app How do you suggest they display both temp humidity in the same app when only one number is allowed in the icon badge Its A dollar Certianly worth it for somethingwhen its fixed youll look at constantly Now the dev just needs to correct the refresh after sleep issue        Good idea but user must manually refresh if device

Whatever problems this app had before it seems to have been corrected with the most recent update The temperature badge is always within a couple of degrees or right on thats good allowing for update times data polling location This one of the best for this type of app that Ive tried If your looking for the temperature on your home screen give this app a try I think youll like it                 Works Good
