Good app Easy to learn with and fun I think the baseball mini game needs some work Also if after you write a character it would be nice to see the actual one to see how close you were to the correct one Not really able to get correct endings on strokes either Good app though and I would recommend it Hopefully more bug fixes are on the way           Good app with a few bugs

Great learning tool to help assist in remembering andor learning hiragana katakana and kanji I added this to my bag of study materials and only give it 45 since its infancy Some updates to sensitivity could help I take my time with stroke order and lose hearts for whatever reason and its super frustrating Thats a minor complaint but other than that since I havent really found any others yet and hopefully dont Its worth the purchase              Great Learning Tool

I just started learning Japanese and I already know pretty much all of hiragana Im working my way to katakana Great app There are some problems and glitches For example the game totally freezes at times while it loads up a mini game Please fix because this is extremely and utterly frustrating especially when Im near the end of a level because I have to start over Also the mini games do get a little repetitive at times They work dont get me wrong I just get a little bored of them Other than that great app Continue updating                 Great help for beginner Japanese

This is a very useful app for learning Japanese However there is a serious flaw in one of the mini games it is the mini game where the critters pop up from the shipwreck it freezes before the game starts and I have to restart the entire level which means losing all progress made in said level Also worth looking into would be the bare code that shows before starting the compound hiragana Otherwise this is a fun and helpful learning tool              Needs updating

Im pretty new to studying Japanese and this is a great way to become familiar with the different alphabets Like many others I have had the game freeze on me when loading the WhackAMole type game a few times It is frustrating as it makes you take the level over but in the end that just gives you MORE practice so it isnt all bad I would also like to see a little bit more variety in the minigames but that is a minor gripe Overall this is an effective and fun way to learn Japanese characters              Great way to learn and study

This game has so much potential but its a bit frustrating at times because the handwriting recognition is very exact Im hoping theyll improve it in future versions           Good concept meh implementation

Takos Japanese is really fun Its like dragon box for Japanese teaching you how to read and write Japanese mostly through gaming But every once in a while Im force to wait a half hour or so because the loading freezes up The music still goes through tooso its like being stuck in an elevator while listening to the tune Please fix bug           Please fix

I dont normally review apps but some things must be said Pro Sleek visual design Nice music Variety of practice techniques and modes which feel like they help me learn Con There is no save progress within a level This was a big problem with the bug in the previous version that froze the app This has been fixed but god forbid something happen you have to start the whole thing over Theres no fast process to skip levels This app is not the phalanx of my learning I know most hiragana characters and want to use the Review portion to work on the ones I know but I have to work my way through all of them in play mode to do that Not ideal A simple fast quiz should be allowed to skip levels You cant pick which series you use in different modes Other apps Ive used let you select which series you want to practice with letting me work on problem areas Here I have to work with the first vowel series and everything else when I just want to work on the last few Study mode is good for this but I would like other modes to do this as well Overall This app costs money but its clear that money was put into it Still there is room for this app to grow If you want to burn hiragana katakana and kanji into your brain you could do worse than this app              Worthwhile but not perfect

As a first time Japanese student this is very helpful as a supplement to classes and watching hearing anime and whatnot Can be done on the bus or at home or anywhere when I am not doing anything productive              Helpful

Im using this app over the summer so I dont lose all the Japanese I learned in class Its pretty entertaining and enjoy the lay out and organization of it I just wish the word examples for the kanji had pronunciation audio There are a few little bugs but otherwise Im really happy with this app              fun

As someone who loves Japan and Japanese culture and pop culture I found this app very useful Its helpful as far as learning all three writing systemshiragana katakana and kanjibut when actually writing the accuracy and timing is frustrating If timing could be fixed a bit and more leniency towards actual writing the memorization would also work better However this is one of the best apps Ive ever used to learn the Japanese writing system           Excellent But Needs Improvements

I took 2 years of japanese in collage and this was the perfect thing to get me going on kanji again My goal is to learn all the N5 kanji and this seems like the way to do it                 Really learning with fun

I can honestly say Ive learned Hiragana faster with this app than any other Heres what it does Teaches you 2 symbols including writing them rather than just seeing them then drills you on them it then teaches you 1 more drills you and then you play a mini game it then teaches you 2 more and then another mini game When you finish it grades you on each symbol You can then go on writing drills replay the games or move on to the next lesson The games are commutative based on your knowledge so dont worry about being tested on stuff you havent reviewed Easily the best app on how to learn Japanese writing Ive come across Worth every penny                 Fast easy fun complete

Its exactly what I wanted to practice writing and the minigames are fun My only complaint is that sometimes the lights on the robot minigame are hard to see Thank you so much for an excellent tool              Great game

I heard about this game through Tokyo Otaku Mode and I love it It makes learning the written language fun and easy Some of the drawing stops you from finishing the character at times like with i and fu but overall is well done 55 for me                 Wow

The transitions on this app are very slow and the English is very awkward You have to wait to be told to draw each stroke which feels unnatural The TIMER is so bad If youre trying to make someone remember how to write dont put pressure on them let them memorize it Its executed well in the mini games but timing when writing is so nerve wrecking that I cant even recall the hirigana But the worst part is you have to be very precise when drawing hirigana Its very discouraging and also very confusing when you actually were drawing the correct hirigana Its so bad Ive actually forgotten some of the hirigana Ive learned Skip on this purchase its not worth it I wish I could get a refund this is horrible     How disappointing

Its a very fun way to learn but the only flaw is the timer and lives Its a little stressful and makes me kind of not want to use this app           Its ok
