Syrp - Genie

If you are iPhone and iPad owner,you now can download Syrp - Genie for free from Apple Store. The application is designed for use in English language. It weighs in at only 21.7 MB to download. The new Syrp - Genie app version 1 has been updated on 2015-04-22. I cannot say if the problem is solely the fault of the app it is possible that firmware is the source of trouble however the dual axis system has a serious system flaw There are times when the tilt axis unpredictability swings a full revolution in a direction opposite the intended direction to arrive at a start or stop point The potential damage to an attached camera video during this behavior i e crashing into the pan axis should be obvious How Syrp managed to overlook this serious flaw defies comprehension Other times after setting up a new video motion pressing the record button results in nothing happening i e the message finished appears The dual axis system was obviously rushed to market without adequate testing and I recommend steering clear of it until Syrp resolves these issues     Serious system flaw Jim the Photo Guy

I ve only taken a few time lapses so far but I mostly want to comment on the app The bar is pretty low for Bluetooth apps and devices which seem to be notorious for having issues But this has been rock solid Well done                     Amazing Tom54235773

The only device that I found this app pairs with is a Motorolla phone It was unreliable with my Nexus tablet and often dropping Bluetooth connection It didn t recognize the Syrp Genie Mini as a pair able device Waiting for their tech team to respond to my email The app in the Google Store says designed for phones Not sure why it s available here     Not working on iPad Lost Archives

This App paired with two Genie Minis Genie is a dream for time lapses I love being able to change all the settings right on my mobile device where it is easy to see No more bending down to the ground trying to read the display Great interface I can t wait to get out on location and capture a new sequence                     3 Axis time lapses now possible CometWaves

Just got the genie mini but it seems to be operating outside the time lapse sequence and only works while the camera is in love view Really wanted to do some work this week but will now be doing static imaging and looking into other panning models     Doesn t work correctly Orestes1001
