This game is great I played the old electric football game as a kid but this is much more fun I tried the lite version also but dont know why anybody wouldnt pay the buck Cant beieve the people who leave reviews saying you cant control the players That is the way the old vibrating football game was This game does give you some control which makes it even more fun than the original I look forward to more games fron Steamroller Studios                 Super Shock Football

U should have control of the players when their running on offense and when they run and tackle on defense              Good but

I like this game alot It works very well on the iphone where madden and nfl 2010 have too much going on to keep track of One main suggestion would be to add a season mode with playoffs and championship game                 Very Good

If you are under 40 years old you likely have no idea what this game is trying to recreate Look it up before you buy it and post a negative review That said this is a fine simulation of electric football of yore except with more control than you ever had beforekinda Passing and kicking work well It feels lacking in the defense dept since all you do is set your formation and hope for the best but then again adding any interaction there might ruin it My biggest wish would be for better visual distinction between teams Brown and gray Really When you are zoomed out it can be really difficult to tell whos who and you can often end up tossing the ball to your opponent Overall well done silliness if you are willing to accept the random nature if it Even so the developers have done a good job striking a balance between annoying randomness and entertainment I am entertained by this           Wonderful silliness

This is freaking stupid Its so boring all u do is watch drunk football players that are toys prance around the field wuthout u having any control over them Retarded luckily i got when it was free     The worst game they invented

Going through and writing reviews on the apps I have kept This takes me back to elementary school and the frustrations my electric football game would cause when my awesome setups would back fire because the ball carrier would take off for the sidelines or the blockers would run away from the defenders This is the game that set me up for my career in management as the employees dont do my wonderful plans either I highly recommend this if you ever sat up a Saturday morning with your brother setting up the plastic players in illegal formations so just once the perfect play would work perfectly I love it Hate the nudge feature but Im sure my brother would love it                 Keeper

Altogether its a good game but it could use a career mode or a season mode for the people who like to use just one team              Could Use a Career Mode

I went into this game thinking that this was a going to be a decent football game with all the perfect scores that it appears to keep getting and all I got the game i had for more than 3 days and i really think i got cheated The grafics were good and presentation were nice i admit but the control where i cant control where or how my ball carrier runs is just ridiculous Also the whole only formations and no actual plays really bug me especially for offense where the plays define how one plays the game The lack of control of players also pretty much negates running plays andor defensive backs making picks unless you constantly have them right in front of you So in essence by having the player have no control over where the ball is run or any definite plays this turns this app that had great potential into a big dud     Really confusing

If youve never played the real thing and if youre looking for a realistic football game dont slam it if you dont like it This is an outstanding simulation of the old and loud vibrating electric football games Both rushing and passing strategies are as I remember I was eight the last time I played one of these Play execution takes place according to plan no longer than five seconds after the play begins After that you cant count on much of anything Again this is how the game was designed There appears to be a few minor bugs but the game plays very well Wish list clock for offensive plays If the QB does not pass in six or seven seconds hes running I hate getting owned on the harder levels after putting some brilliant defense together In short offense should be a bit more challenging forward progress clock If theres a jam blow the whistle ingame stats This should be an option at the half and possibly accessible from the pause menu Should include passing yards rushing yards first downs posession time playsdrive etc This game rocks It effectively eliminates the negatives of the real thing setup time for each play and an imaginary passing game Way underrated but understandable given the fact that electric football was challenging and maddening at times                 Awesome As good as electric football gets

I love this game it would be my favorite game in my I pod if it had multiplayer I would play daily if it was pod to pod wi fi The split screen is to small and very time consuming I could not wait to play my buddys after one game of small split screen I realized it wasnt going to happen Other than that I love the game                 Good game

I grew up with electric football watching those little plastic men do pretty much as they please Super Shock Football captures the spirit of electric football yet makes it playable The players still have that Hey I think I will run out of bounds attitude on the way to a breakaway touchdown but that is the essence of the game of electric football Yelling at your players for running the wrong way is part of the fun For those people that gave this game a rating of 1 I have absolutely no idea what they were expecting Super Shock Football is on my main game page where it receives plenty of playtime                 electric football done right

This is a great game but it wold be better if you could lock the camera in one place and had more control over the players But it is still fun and a good time killer              Fun game

I dont understand why dev compares this game to madden or NFL at all There should be zero reference This game is simply just like old electronic football from back in the days If you want that experience its a decent game If you want a true football sim this game is terrible The graphics and interface is super nice Passing is too easy compared to the old school real eletronic game Its just not what I wanted Glad its just free        No football sim element at all Not that fun

look guys its a great game yeah they run around in circles but thats only because thats how it was on the old electric football boards they made this game for an old classic not madden the controls arent meant to be complex they are meant to be funny basically if you are looking for a realistic game get madden which isnt even realistic this game was designs for the iPhoneitouch and they did a good job not complaining about madden great app yes it gets annoying sometimes when they are running in circles in open field deal with it its fun and not too hard so deal                 fun game unless ur looking for madden

I could see how a reallife version of this might be fun but as an iPhone game it really doesnt satisfy what most people want in a game You basically have no real control of what happens and winning or loseing is basically dependant on luck I figured Id try it since it was on sale for free for awhile and Im glad it was There just isnt enough interactivity to justify 099 let alone the 2 theyre asking for Ive loved some of Chillingos games but this one just isnt as good as some of their others        Game

If you are a fan of the old electric football you will already feel comfortable with the games setup If you are not or have never played electric football this is a very fun take on it and you will learn what its all about quickly The gameplay becomes addicting once you get a feel for the way its designed The design is a little quirky just like the old electric football games At first even I was a little thrown off by it but then I started to appreciate the games style in almost a fun and comical way For example in Super Shock Football when your receiver or even the computer receiver catches the ball they will run toward the goal and then for no logical reason turn in a circle or start running backwards or out of bounds with no opponent even near them lol Im sorry but this part of the design doesnt seem right and it should be modified even if thats how the old electric machines worked it aint gonna fly now Thankfully its all balanced out though between you and your opponents so you arent the only one running in circles occasionally Runners can lateral the football when you feel your player is straying in the wrong direction but as for control of your runner thats about it You do get used to it after a while but with the running being so unpredictable and having little to no control over it this will turn off some of the more serious football video gamers With that being said and out of the way there are many things that are very likeable about this game After playing a couple games I kept going back for more the gameplay was addicting Passing works greatjust drag from your quarterback to the receiver and let go Kicking design is almsot perfect There are plenty of plays formations to use and choose from and because of the lack of control of the running in the game a large part of your success will come from choosing the right plays Graphics and colors of the game are good I like the atmosphere and sounds The presentation of the game is excellent with nice quick menu designs Options include letting you choose the amount of players you want on each team and minutes per game as well as sound camera adjustments There is a STATS section that shows all the team achievements available at the title screentouchdowns yards wins losses Overall this game is a lot of fun and the developerSteamroller Studios Chillingo is actively working to improve and make the game even funner which is a great sign Ill look forward to more updates but so far this game is already a classic Im having more fun playing this game than NFL 2010 Overall score 910 My only suggestion for an update would be to allow more control over the direction the player runs with the ball                 Electric football video gaming at its Finest

This game is great I just wish the players would run straight sometimes because most of the time in the origanal the players would run straight not backwards but definite must buy              Great just one thing

Very well designed and programmed However the nostalgia for electric football is tempered by the fact that it is simply bad at times For example on my very first kickoff return the player ran back into the endzone and got a safety Surely they can implement some sort of intelligent electric football variant or setting that at least will cause the players to run in the correct direction upfield        Ugh

I love this game Just like I remember electric football as a kid way before video games Whats really cool is that you do not have to set up the teams after every play but you do have several play setups to choose from and you can also position your men and aim them in the direction you want Its not like Madden football but simpler and quick to play The graphics are great fun and very well done I love the tilt feature that allows you to change the view I just wish you could play a season similar to Madden or NFL 2010                 Retro Fun
