Super Retro ™

This is my new favorite photography app I have had absolutely no problems with it Those that are complaining should consider restarting their phone and remembering that theyre holding a computer Be patient I am working with 9 pages of photo apps and its hard to find those that do something different Only half of the top 25 are really worth it Ive taken pics from Hipstamatic and made them better with Super Retro I love the fresh feel and design A perfect blend of simplicity and versatility                 Awesome

Locks up halfway through download and then errors out     Nope

My experience on an iPhone 4 running ios5 has not been good Slow to load then crashes before Im able to use     Disappointed

Its filter effects are cool Most of them looks useful and beautiful But it needs some improvements too slow to operate It is hard for users to understand what is the difference between love mark filters and brush mark filters It will be better for those two to be combined              Coool but need some

Yay for a new camera app I love creating my own settings for quickly enhancing and finishing my photos And having new presets I cant wait for new filters and effects              So far I am loving it

I love this app I was on the email list to get it free for some reason I didnt but oh well Anyway I wanted to be the first person to say Get the app It is a bit over priced though                 Awesome

I am loving the filters that this App brings but it runs slow I hope the guys fix it because I really like this App and I like the look that it brings to my pictures I give it four stars If they fix it then I will change to 5              Loving the Filter but

love ur app enhance is the best                 eee

but the slider on the enhance mode is jumpy The effects are nice I really like several of them a lot The high res save is a bit slow but not unreasonable I havent had any issue with crashing at least no more than any other app The enhance mode does a good job except for the slider issue It would be great to have the ability to save several versions of a picture in the light box without having to reopen the original All in all I think its a nice app just in need of a few tweaks Looking forward to the next update           I like it quite well

love the effects the simplicity you can easily navigate through the filters are clean it can simetimes be slow crashes at times pls if you can add more filters by that i mean not a topin purchase im just curious why theres a store tab quite skeptic what more to buy at a 199 price hope your future filters arent for purchase              super clean

I love all of the colors and effects But it keeps crashing every time I use it after I make one picture Then I have to reinstall it for it to work again Please make it work for iOS 7 This is the best filter app Ive ever seen              Love it but it needs an update

Let me start with as of this review Super Retro has been out for less than a month That being said there are still some kinks to work out I have considered those flaws in my 5star review I would give it six stars if I were able to Heres why CREATIVITY Its hard to find an app that doesnt just give you another set of the same old tired filters Well Super Retro does give you those same filters but with a completely new twist you get to stack them in any order you want to create a unique filter that is readily available at the touch of a button IGers this app lets you make signature filters I have two already check them out pinhole oldpolaroid Right now this is one of the best photo editing apps on this ridiculously bloated market Ive tested enough to love the most important part of this one its not just another cookie cutter app More importantly it lets me do more than share photos with cookie cutter filters Super Retro gives me the ability to create my own individual filters I can add multiple frames on one pic blur the first and sharpen the next Each filter is filtered by the next whether its a frame or an effect they all stack almost infinitely Obviously as you stack filters the app slows down and may crash if you stack too many Ive stacked up to 9 on my 4s I dont know why you would try to stack more When you save a number of stacked filters to a favorite the lag time is greatly reduced when you apply that new filter within a couple taps Those favorites are where the signature filters come in Super Retro allows you to save any combination of filters to create your unique signature filter that once saved can quickly be applied to new photos Finally I dont have to use the same crap filters every other app forces me to Thank you Super Retro is beautiful Opening this app is a breath of fresh air the design is first class The user interface is just right They did not try to reinvent the wheel with some all new UI its basic it looks good and it takes five minutes to understand ten to master There are issues but they are marginal the app is a little slow and there are a couple of bugs to be worked out They will be fixed and I dont recommend using it with the iPhone 3GS works very well on my 4s Bottom line Super Retro is ingenious and has plenty of room to grow This is not a fly by night app company these guys are passionate about photography they are doing everything right to get this app to the top and it will get there                 Blossoming Creativity

As other reviewers have noted this App hangs when attempting to save an image It has promise and some filters not seen elsewhere some I am sure you already have I urge their dev team to fix this        Bugs need to be fixed to make this worthwhile

I like the interface and the selection of retro filters is kore than adequate the app will load hires 2832x4256 images without difficulty it will not save them if they have been edited Obviously this is unacceptable The app works well with lower res images but should be fixed to eliminate theroblem witn hires images        Crashes while trying to dave hires images

It was a great appfor 5 minutes Then it slowed down and now it wont even open Very disappointed        Disappointed

Love the app it has a variety of options making it very retro and modern You can choose different frames colors or special effects to make it glow You can share it to twitter instagram Facebook or even your email The feel and the use of the app is very crisp and easy recommended for people who love taking pictures                 One of the best picture apps of the year

Id give this zero stars but it will not let me Hasnt worked since I purchased it Id like my money back to get something that does work     Eff this piece of crap

First app I bought and It does not stop crashing and it wont share I want my money back because this obviously does not work     Very bad

This app is far from being fully developed They need to fix a lot of bugs Such as tutorial should be optional it just keeps on bothering you while editing This app also crashes very often doesnt serve the purpose Last but not least I am sure the developers will make us all happy with an update ASAP     Is this a demo

EVER This app is beautiful it just hangs every time I try to save an image on my iPhone 4s or iPad 2 They need to fix this Stay away     Have not been able to save one image

Love this app use a few of the filters very regularly to finish off my photos I just want an update with some new filters or how about that shop that says conning soon for a year now                 Time for an update all ready

This isnt a good one Sllllllooooow Cant login to Facebook or Twitter Hangs up every time I try to save to the camera roll Filters are painfully average Shoulda heeded iphoneographys review     Wow What a Stinker

autofocuses and fires the shutter but cannot even save the image no other function that i can discern at this point extremely disappointing application not worth anything until these major bugs are fixed     pretty lame

I have been using it for a couple of weeks so far no complains whatsoever Creative great looking filters Easy to use have not quit on me once I wish they had a feature similar to Camera clarity filter then it would be one stop editing PS I have to say after using it for some more picture editing the Enhance feature on Super Retro does the same as Clarity and could actually be superior because it let you gradually improve your picture It works best when the slider is in the middle then you can save your picture and do some more if needed not adding too much grain to your picture                 Love it Love it even more

I was very excited about this app but it does not seem to be working properly It freezes up and would not share to my Facebook account after 3 attempts        Freezes up constantly

I follow one of the guys that created this app on IG It looked cool Sounded like what I had been looking for I rarely buy apps I was really disappointed by the lack of variety It didnt do the things that they pumped up Wish I could have my money back        Standard gauge

Im giving this 4 stars cuz like this appn ok so far I was excited to download it Its got some good qualitiesthe app allows you to save your pictures so you can take several pictures at one time then come back to them later which i like I dont love all the filters tho they all seem to have a yelloworange tone I like its options for editingconcepts are good it just needs a little more attention it takes a long time to save something its not a quick process kinda like it gets bogged down all in all its pretty ok              super retro

My previous review was a low rating because I thought the pics were not saving after applying effects Indeed they saving but after minute or so Thats a bit on the slow side Please give a warning in the prompts I will easily sacrifice speed for these high quality filters I have about 50 camera apps Most have retro filters None come close to this These are superb in quality All the rest are more and less the same This is unique Cant wait for more content downloadpurchase A few bugs found One worth mentioning is Camera opening instead of Instagram when sharing                 The best retro cam app
