An Excellent version of a great tabletop game I would give it five stars except that the online play is fairly buggy              Almost perfect

Seems like a lot of fun and gameplay is quite smoothuntil the final feeding during online multiplayer when the game consistently crashes before tallying final score It will be a 5 star app once this is fixed Too frustrating as is           Potentially Strong but Crashes

I love this game on table top and the app certainly doesnt disappoint Plays faster than the board game which is a nice plus too Highly recommendable                 Awesome

This game is terrific solo The animaion is top quality Id give it a 5 star if the multiplayer worked smoothly like Ticket to Ride I also have a suggestion Develope and an inapp purchase of the expansion Style is the Goal Thank you for an entertaining game              Love this game needs smoother multiplayer

Ive been enjoying this App for a while so I wanted to go ahead and write a short review Its a great implementation of the Board Game In fact our family didnt own a physical copy of the game but purchased one after enjoying this App for a while Customer service has been top notch as well I cannot recommend this app enough Also noteworthy are Ticket to Ride Carcassonne Ascension Chronicle of the Godslayer and Small World for beginners Lords of Waterdeep on an intermediate level and Agricola Puerto Rico and Tigris and Euphrates on a more advanced level of board gaming fun                 Fantastic

I havent seen many others complaining about the multiplayer For us the lag was huge and constant Kept tapping the arrow at the topleft corner tapping Multi Games then reselecting the match I was currently playing to get it to refresh I was on chat with my two friends while we played Eventually we started relaying when we would finish our moves so the others would know to refresh their screens We could have played two games on the physical board in the time it took to painfully play through one I experienced the crash during the final feeding like many others have mentioned I love the UI They did a great job with it All three of us will not play this game online again though        Multiplayer is terrible

I really enjoy the game and the visuals Unfortunately the game sometimes suddenly shuts down in the middle of play which is frustrating           Fun but needs more stability

Great way to hook my kids now we play the board game pretty often The online multiplayer could use tighter turn times like we see on carcassone One of the great worker placement games well implemented                 Great game

When playing on friendly multiplayer you can not leave the game unless it is your turn but my opponent hasnt played for 2 months fix this please Anyone should be able to leave game anytime     Multiplayer problem

Ive always loved the board game and I think the app had a great setup you can play against the AI good for a faster game or for learning and play against multiple people at the same time You will get notified when it is your turn and it reloads quickly if you use other apps between turns Also a tutorial for those that are new to the game I would agree that the AI is weak for those that have played and developed strategies                 Great setup

I picked this app up after playing the board game at a friends house After playing it with the improved AI update I won the next round at my friends house This app really speeds up the learning process and the hardest AI is decently hard                 Perfect adaptation of the board game

Its quite a lot fun single player Ive never played the board game but this works very well Never had a bug Music is cool and it is challenging despite being relatively simple Nice way to kill a bit of time without being too deeply engrossed and better than the 300th version of solitaire for that purpose              Like this game

I love this game for solo play Ive seen some reviews about it not doing so well with multiplayer but I am really only interested in playing with my board game friends As a solo game it is fantastic The person who said it does not use the same rules plays differently than I have done it plays with the same rules as I do on the board game EXCEPT for the counting resources as a point I never actually tried to make resources a strategy point they dont seem worth it to me I aim to have as few as possible which is a marker for me that Ive played efficiently I like the fast play It is true that it is really fast I hardly can track it as it is going but you can at any time look at what the other players have collected simply by tapping any of their icons to get a chart of all players                 Love this game for solo

Plays just like the board game and is easy to learn how to use However The online multiplayer setup is poorly organized and managed particularly with the Stone Age league You cannot choose your opponent and you cannot select a time frame for the game you want to play So a person who wants to play a relatively quick game can be matched against those who want to play a game that lasts for days or weeks But the biggest problem with the league is that there are glitches Sometimes you are unable to play your turns games are mistakenly resigned and your player rating gets messed up I recently lost a game in which I was unable to play my turn for several days and my rating was dropped way more than it should have been So after gradually climbing to the top of the leader board I was bumped way down for no reason So needless to say I am done with their league The other annoying thing is that Campfire Creations never responds to emails so when problems arise they dont do anything about it So if you want to play against the computer or friends or if you do not care about player ratings the app is ok But if you want a better experience get either Agricola or Lords of Waterdeep Playdek is a far superior company and these are better board games anyway        Good game play but lousy multiplayer

This plays and scores just like the board game only better In two player only one person can collect resources in a given area but both can hunt for food I havent tested with more than 2 players Both my husband and I own this There is a little lag while playing via wifi but thats fine Very fast when playing against computer The only issue Ive had is not being able to use wildcard resources to feed people They have to be converted to resources before the feeding stage I LOVE that theres no set up or fiddling with pieces We do own the board game and have for years but this is easier to pick up and play What Ive noticed from other ipad board games is sometimes you find out youve been playing it wrong on the physical board game and when you retread the rules it confirms it This was the case for us with both kingdom builder and even ticket to ride Definitely worth purchasing                 Exactly like board game but better

iOS rules slightly different than board game but no biggie The biggest bug I have encountered is the 5 day turn limit Twice I have been in league matches involving other players who did not make their turn within the 5 day limit however instead of automatically losing the game and causing the others players to tie for first the game simply froze Most irritating is the total lack of response from the developer        Stone Age

I was in a game of Stone Age that had been going on for a week I aw last take my turn instantly and I was waiting for the dude to take his turn We were like half way through and it just gave him the win for no reason           Disappointed

Love this app Its like having the board game in my pocket Perfect time waster when Im waiting for appointments and such Plays just like the board game only less messy AI hasnt beat me yet so its probably a little too easy However its enough to keep me paying attention and I hate losing anyway So this is good One problemor it would have 5 stars I cant seem to add my husband so that we can play together online He has the app as well and sending him an invitation only brings him here to download the app Sorry if Im being densebut help me please Thanks for a great game              Love it

We have enjoyed playing Stone Age for a couple of years but lately there has been glitches in playing together it happened after iPad updated Please fix this                 Love it but

The look and feel of this implementation of Stone Age is great My biggest gripe is that the AI is rather poor Additionally it would be really useful if there were better indicators of how far along the game has progressed Tapping each of the hut piles to see how many tiles are left gets a tad tiresome              Great UI Weak AI

Game state isnt refreshing like it used to Have to leave game and return in order to show updated game state even though Ive received notification that it is my turn           Great game but current version needs update

Really fun and addictive I never played the real board game I probably win 80 of games against the AI so itd be nice if that could be smarter                 Really fun AI could be smarter

This game was really fun and I played a long time but Ive been doing ranked mode and getting buggy resignations After a month with about 5 emails to them I havent even gotten an acknowledgement Ruined the whole ranked competition for me        Customer service disappeared

I played Stone Age for the first time a few weeks ago and soon after I learned of this app Wow The app is intuitive and true to the game and the AI players are good enough to keep you on your toes If I were to recommend anything it would be to offer a couple of stronger AIs andor player ratings or am I just not noticing these features Stone Age both as an iPad app and as a boardgame has found a permanent home in my rotation Oh and the wife loves it too a major plus                 Great iPad adaptation of great boardgame

This game is great in solo mode but can be buggy in multiplayer mode and support is nonexistent Multiplayer games in League play occasionally lock you out on your turn and you will eventually be penalized for forfeiting the game Ive tried several times to contact support and have never received a reply I am guessing other players have the same issue as Ive got several games that havent progressed in months        Great game buggy multiplayer no support

This game is awesome We liked it so much we purchased the cardboard version too If you like this sort of dice and placement mechanic give Alien Frontiers and Kingsburg a try                 Fun and addictive

This is one of my favorite board games They adapted it really really well The graphics are beautiful the gameplay is smooth and the computer AI is one of the best Ive played I recommend this app to anyone                 Great adaptation of an awesome game

The gameplay is great the animations luminous and with a great sense of humor and the interface is clean and effortless Two improvements Id invite are a way to speed through the betweenround animations it can drag when playing a fourperson game and to allow the resource count panel showing what resources each player has accumulated during the reconcile step                 The best iOS board game adaptation out there

Nice adaptation of the board game The asynchronous multiplayer league is a great idea and I enjoy the challenge it brings to the game However as others have noticed there are issues I cant drop out ofclear matches where someone has stopped playing There is no time out for matches other than the timer disappearing after 14 days so you can put a lot of time into a 4player game and then it is all for naught if someone disappears Theres no way to communicate with other players either ingame or through the leaderboard Theres not even a forum This review is the only way I could think of to share my frustrations with other players Moreover there doesnt seem to be any support for the game Campfire Creations doesnt really postupdate social media and they dont respond to emails Does the company still exist Have they given up on the game Do they care about the game anymore Such a shame because there still is a player base for Stone Age and it seems like the game has strong potential Campfire Can you update us We are here Come back        Nice game but no support

Attentobi is a cheater Im pretty sure he has found a way to cheat in this game I just played him and in the first 3 turns with no tools he was able to roll 3 clay with 2 men 12 6 wood with 4 men at least 18 6 food with 2 men 12 Every turn after that he had amazing rolls He must have found some way to cheat the game It really is no fun playing against someone who cheats Hope Campfire is able to close these loopholes in the future Congrats Attentobi I hope you are happy with your victory     Stone Age

I play this almost every day                 One of the best boardgames on the iPad

If you want to play this game solo against AI players its great However the multiplayer online or even WiFi doesnt even work You can play pass and play but what fun is that I have no interest in passing my iPad every time a meeple is placed Fix multiplayer or at least make it available over WiFi     Multiplayer doesnt work solo is great

This game is great but I just had about ten online games disappear from my online game menu with no explanation Ive experienced several other glitches with online games which is very frustrating when youre trying to creep up on the leaderboard        Lost games

I enjoy this game a lot It could easily be revamped into a sequel that had more depth I would also like an option to increase the number of houses and boats available Still great fun and definitely worth the price                 Great game wish there was an option to make it last longer

I love the game but this app leaves a little to be desired 1 Internet matches are not real time you play a turn and then days can go by before your opponent plays 2 the board doesnt really show the entire picture if whats happening how many tools do my opponents have or how many huts have they traded for After a few days Im lowering my 3 star to a 2 star because the multiplayer functions are terrible LAG I need to leave the app in order for the opponents turn to load        Great game mediocre app

I love this game and this app is almost better than the actual game but I have a HUGE complaint There is no way every single dice roll is that bad and that low Every single time Most commonly I will have for instance 5 guys on Wood and get only 4 woodreally Something should be done its clearly not random enough              Love this game BUT
