Starlight 2: Mobile Planetarium

Its showing me that the Sun is about 20 degrees North of where it actually is this evening I am trying again the next day now it is way off NEEDS CALIBRATION        Fun but needs calibration

Starlight is a beautiful fun informative app Everything I need for a bit of star gazing right in the palm of my hand The illustrations are lovely and I love the way the stars connect into constellations as you pan towards them I also love that you can click on the stars or planets and get information about them This is a very sleek looking app                 Beautiful app

I am a huge lover of stars I follow the constellations and know all the stories and am pretty much a big star nerd but I love it This app has made it so easy to not only see the stars in front of our faces so I can point them out to friends without doing that whole putting your heads together and pointing thing but also shows me the stars I cant see because of the city lights This app is truly recommended and highly appreciated                 Love it

The app is a lot of funI wanted to see the constellations and the stars and planets but I agree with an earlier review the calibration is way off If you hold the screen steady and lock it on the horizon or the sky it drifts around and is not sure of the direction Maybe the version I have is wrong or has a bug but I tried it on my iPhone if you did the same thing           It is fun BUT

Not based on your location and there is no option to set Complete waste     Inaccurate

This app is beautiful I love it It shows all of the constellations planets and stars It shows when its night and day around the earth When you tap on a constellation planet or star there an info button that you can click and it explains facts about it Great app money well spent                 AMAZING

I love this app the only problem is the calibration is off I point it to NE and it tells me its NW i point it E it tells me its W now I face sun rise so unless sun rise is to the west The Calibration needs to be fixed 5415 the calibration is still off unless the earth completely shifted I point my iPod n iPad east and it says its West I point it South a And it says North and now I cant even find Taurus in the sky              Calibration is off

I dont usually write reviews for apps but Starlight is so fun I have to share my opinion Ive always wondered what planets and stars I could see in the night sky but could never be sure With Starlight I now know Besides showing constellations the app also shows planets Pull the screen out with your fingers to zoom in to see planets and stars Also check your direction to be sure your app is calibrated correctly If you are directionally challenged compare to your compass app Your starlight screen shows the direction you are pointing with a small letter in white on the horizon If you are off fully close the app by double clicking the center button on your device then swipe up to close Now reopen Starlight Then app should recalibrate for you                 So fun

This is one of my favorite apps and super easy and reliable Cant wait to watch Comet Lovejoy with the help of this app                 LOVE IT

A total waste of money and timeI thought it would give me an accurate description of what stars and constellations in the sky where I live in real timethis is certainly not the case we do not have a full moon every day of the monthif you are interested in only learning more about made the constellations are in comparison to the universe this is a good app but not for what is up in the sky tonight     Starlight star bright I wish this app worked right

This app is seriously amazing Coming from a girl who downloaded this app while laying under the stars on a date I cant find any flaws with it whatsoever You just hold your phone up to the sky and it accurately points out all the stars planets and constellations above you And it gives you info about what youre looking at My favorite app by far                 PERFECT APP

This app is awesome Very fun and zero glitches You can scan over any part of the sky and see detailed views of all constellations There is no wait time for them to appear either Plus you can click each one for more info I love this and so does my 4 year old son                 Amazing

My iPad on iOS 8 and my brothers iPhone on iOS 7 is having trouble sometimes with orientation It points to another direction besides north and is moving like its trying to find it I didnt see an option for calibration but we would be much obliged if the dev team could take a look at it Other than that its an awesome app and look forward to the expansion Beautiful graphics and UI I still have the old version as well              Bug report
