My driver picked me up blocks away from my location and dropped me off a block away from my destination On top of that its nearly impossible to locate them You can not call or text the driver to see where they are in order to get picked up Nor can you change your location Not accommodating at all TERRIBLE

This is such a great way to get around town especially at night when the metro is slow I only take Split now 5 bucks from Dupont to H Street

Ive just moved to DC so there are a lot of options here but Split is perfect for me because I dont have a car Its great for late nights coming home from the office or getting groceries and the drivers are really friendly and give me lots of recommendations about things to explore in DC Perfect for DC

They cant give you a reliable time window for when youll be dropped off a ride thats normally 15 minutes by cab or lyft they estimate between 50 minutes and an hour and 10 minutes Even the bus and metro are faster than that Needs reliable time windows and to be faster

I was excited to use Split for the first time as I thought it would be a cheap alternative to uber MISTAKES I will not be using it again We picked up another rider who was going the complete opposite direction of my destination making a trip that wouldve been maybe 10 minutes nearly an hour Information about the route was not given to me before I accepted the ride and I was not able to cancel the ride once I realized how long it was going to take I even asked the driver if she could drop me off when she picked up the other rider because honestly walking home wouldve been faster at that point but she refused I was essentially held captive in the car It wouldve been both cheaper and faster to wait on and take the bus This app is not worth the storage space on your phone Worst idea ever

Using Split is amazing All the drivers are the nicest people you will find in DC and the fares are at an unbeatable price I took a few splits from the White House area to Georgetown for only 3 Im honored to have known about this service in its early stages and I recommend Split to everybody Lifechanging
This service is legit My driver actually spoke English and knew how to get around DC Plus it was way cheaper than Uber Will definitely use again next time Im in the District Great Experience
Ive already used Split more than Lyft and Uber combined The app is easy to use and the drivers have all been nice people so far Dropoff and pickup points are not always ideal but the system seems to be constantly improving Their prices are better than the competition Id like to see a service area expansion soon but until then Ill continue to use the service when it suits my needs Better than the competition

I love that Split is in DC The app is easy to use the drivers theyve hired are so professional and friendly and the price of rides is incredible about 4 to get from West End to 14th Street I used to pay more than double that and that was without surge pricing Ive gotten so tired of nearly aroundtheclock surge pricing But Split never surges Such a great option for getting around town
