Spanish!

I love how often Ive used this app If I stopped using it today I would have totally gotten my moneys worth Its so addictive I just grab it whenever Im bored and BAM Learning words The simple format is very attractive to me because there was little to nothing to get used to just launch app and learn Spanish Ive done some beginner Spanish so this is helping me expand my vocabulary in a fun way Thanks for a great app PS Id be tickled pink if there were a couple small books or articles based off these words For me thats always the next step when brushing up on a language but its hard to find content                 Good bang for the buck

Theres a lot I like about this app Right off thw bat for the 99 you get a hell of deal Basically a stack of spanish flashcards with audio included I didnt have to do a thing to get going You hit the practice button and its ready to go A lot of the flashcard programs make it too complicated This one is simple and to the point I use it for about 10 minutes at a time max But everytime I go back to it I definitely can tell I know more and more words by the score I get Great deal for the price                 Way great for 99

The interface is great What would make this a great App is if the had a category Practice your words Where you can add words that you put in and choose words that are already in the program I am a beginner and I cant imagine learning 1100 words all at the same time as well as many of the words I never use in english let alone spanish If you can pick out of the 1100 words what you want to practice and then practice them that would be great One other thing If you add a word it would be nice to be able to add voice to the flash card Great potential needs a little tweaking to make it a great program           Great potential needs a little modification

some of the choice of words to drill upon is a bit odd for beginning to intermediate spanish students Words like laconic and zealous come to mind that showed up in the first 10 seconds of looking through the translations So far it seems to be helpful in keeping me brushed up on my Spanish and the recorded pronouciation is good           Pretty useful as a drill for vocabulary but

This app has so much potential but as it is right now it is useless Please break up the massive amount of vocabulary into manageable sets rather than having them in one pool        So much potential

Thanks so much this is one the of the best Spanish apps ever I dont know this yet but 2 things 1 Make all the stuff in the app not need wifi 2 Let you choose the word you need Now I can do better in Spanish thanks Devs                 Love it

I learn best by using flashcards so I downloaded this app I like how you can add your own words only reason I may keep it but their words are way over the top for new Spanish learners Loiter Lubricate Who learns these when starting out Porn stars I guess        Not good for beginning Spanish

Ur not going to learn the entire language with this app but it is a cool way to bump up ur vocabulary when u have some downtime on the go                 Great app

Thank you for an excellent application Im now at a point where I need to hear more as I learn more I appreciate the fact it is available as a stand alone app and can be used with my iPod Touch any where                 A Best Buy

Ok so I didnt learn that from the app LOL But I have learned a bunch of really useful words from listening and testing myself with this thing Its scary smart And yes almost game like Not boring when you have to beat your last score I know I know sounds nerdy whatever But its pretty addicting all the same YAY                 MUY BIEN

Excellent ap for learning vocabulary but a number of the words are not very practical do I really need to know Spanish for abridgement interweave amass hackneyed and objurgate I dont even use those words in English Would be nice if you could delete a word out that you dont care to learn because youd never use it When was the last time you used the word objurgate or hackneyed in a sentence Otherwise all in all a very good ap for learning vocabulary              More common words please

There is a lot of trash in this app a lot of words that Ive never heard of in english Who uses pacifistically or factionally anyway Its so impractical because you go through a lot of useless stuff before you get to the useful everyday words that could really speed up learning Cut out the fancyshmancy words and just go with practicality     A nice idea buuut

Hands down the best Spanish app for vocab study The flashcards included have both easy and intermediate words all for 99 Insane Then you have the dude saying it in his perfectly Spanish voice Its freaking fabulously good                 Fabulous

This would be an ok app if it wasnt for the fact that these are the most random unusefull set of words that I have ever seen I hardly use these words when I speak English Dont buy this app its a waste of a dollar     What

The app itself is descent but I need better options on what words Im reviewing Like have the words you enter in as another catagory other than just nouns verbs adverbs and ajuctives I would like to be able to focus on just my current vocab that I customize not just all the words all the time Also when entering in customized words a auto search feature would be nice so if the word is already in the data base you dont have to type it all in Good concept decent app poor insite as far as individual users           Good app but lots of room for improvement

I have many Spanish apps and this is one of the most effective for learning However I do agree with others that an update that would enable me to block or delete words would make it perfect                 Very effective

While it would be nice to have subcategories of words by topic to practice instead of all nouns or verbs etc whats really great is how it focuses on words youre having trouble with and brings in new words gradually and lightly revisits words youve got the hang of Fantastic So much better than a random draw from a stack of flash cards And of course you get the spoken pronunciation to boot Well done              Great job Very helpful app

This product is useless You CANNOT navigate which means you cannot search for a word to learn You cannot go to a word by its leading alphabet This appl groups Spanish words by categories such as Noun Verb So if you pick Noun it throws out Spanish nouns for you to learn And it does not remember well where you have been if you switch category Bottomline you learn whatever word this appl throws at you That does not cut it for me     Dont waste your money the good reviews are probably seeded

this has got to be the best vocabbuilding spanish app there is its 1000 words now and they got rid of some of the more difficult words if you want to build you vocabulary fast this is probably the best way to do it this is the best purchase i made for my ipod                 buy it now

Im enjoying the easytouse flashcard interface of the Spanish application The native speaker male voice pronouncing the words can be turned on and off Ive been exposed to and learned some words in Spanish that I hardly knew in English I use it a lot when Im waiting in line Looking forward to being able to enter my own word sets in a future version The author has been very responsive to my inquiries and helpful answering my questions Thank you                 Handy App for learning while waiting

Review The program has over a thousand words Some of the words are easy commonly used everyday words Other words are used moderatally There are even a few that are almost never used This is done on purpose The program is meant to be a vocabulary builder If it had JUST the most common and basic words it would probably just reinforce the words you already know If you have ever taken a Spanish class instead of both reinforcing and expanding It can be used by all levels weather you are a beginner or an expert because as I have said before it is both reinforces and expands your vocabulary Keep in mind that this program is purely for vocabulary and doesnt teach grammer and so forth It has four different groups of vocabulary words Nouns Verbs Descriptives and all groups combined It would be nice if the program also had a section for commony phrases Some phrases like My name is or How much does it cost and so on are used all the time and its good to have them memorized well enough that they just fall off the tip of your tongue For every word that comes with the system there is an audio clip For the most part each word is spoken clearly but there are a few where it is difficult to understand the man that is speaking For obvious reasons any word that you add yourself will not have an audio clip The words seem to correctly defined However there were some wierd ones For example I believe the program said that pen was a pluma This is essentially correct but a pluma usually refers to a the type of pen used a long time ago because pluma in fact means featherWhile you can use pluma it is more common to say boligrafo The program allows you to add words to the program and is sure to let you know if the word is already in the system My only real complaint is that when a noun is already in the system it comes up with a gray note underneath the word that tells you if the word is feminine or masculine if the word doesnt show it clearly by ending with an o or an a When you add your own word it doesnt do that unless I just havent figured out how The words are taught purely through the flash card method It would be nice if it allowed you multiple ways of learning a word It would also be nice if you could also be able to look at a list of words in each section There are a lot of words and is annoying to flip through them all to find one word Overall the program is nice program for building vocabulary You might want to consider using it in conjunction to Spanish 247 Each program has its good and bad parts For example one good thing about this program is that it allows you to add your own words Upcoming tests anyone and one good thing about the other program is the variety of methods it uses to teach a word              Really really good

So the only complaint that I have about this program is that it is distracting me from Andres other excellent application Japanese Flip This is the third application of his that I have downloaded and they are all excellent The addition of audio to this application is very helpful hopefully he will go back and add it into his Japanese products                 Another Hit

Excellent concept execution and tool The only problem which is a large one is that many of the words I barely use in English let alone Spanish If you could delete words from the program it would be great seeing as my brain has a block against learning useless words and thus the ones I dont need keep on appearing On the plus side you can make your own cards My hope is that I will make enough new and useful cards to push out the useless ones              Good app but do I really need to know Chromatic in Spanish

After I downloaded this app I noticed right away that the user interface is so much better than all the other spanish apps Ive gotten It gets right to business with teaching you the words in spanish It doesnt have a bunch of stuff to get in the way You start it up and you get going You shut it down and it remembers where you left off The audio sounds real authenic and its clear so I can replay it lots of times to hear it exactly like its supposed to be pronounced I am very happy with this app                 Best Spanish App

Gave up using this app It has obscure words that I dont even know in English Then I found that on a few occassions it gave me definitions for Spanish words that were incorrect my wife who speaks Spanish picked this up and then I checked a SpanishEnglish dictionary to confirm her opinion     Not worth it for free
