I use the app almost every night Its makes me very relaxed But the best use of this app for me is this my husband snores He snores enough that I usually cannot stay in bed with him through a full night With the Simply Rain app I use a very comfortable set of headphones and crank up the volume I am relaxed enough to sleep and I DONT hear him snoring                 Zzzzzzzzz

I have tried many similar apps This one is hands down the best I like how simplified the interface is It is nice looking and is the most realistic and comforting sounding rainthunder app in the AppStore                 Love it

I bought this because one of the pictures says it has brown noise But actually brown noise is in the SimplyNoise app for another 1     False advertising

I live in California where weve had a drought for years so I may have forgotten what real rain sounds like but this sounds like I remember it Ive tried it so far for dozing on a plane with noise canceling headphones for reading on a bus and for working in a shared office                 Soothingly and probably realistic

One flaw When you turn it on the thunder option is turned on To turn off the thunder you must toggle through LOUDER thunder before you can turn it off Seems like you should just start with no thunder Its actually quite a stressinducing part of my nightly routine I wake my husband up almost every single time Id love to give this 5 stars but until that option is provided Ill always be a little harried              Thunderous flaw

I have concentration issues and find that this app is the best while at work I will listen on a Bluetooth speaker all day long every day Also their other app works wonders for nighttime sleep                 Simply Rain App

Great app I love this to go too sleep withim Im a care facility and it blocked out all the constraint noise that is so much of a a hospital like environmentthe tis the carts the visiting familys with children the PA systems the constant opening and closing of doors This sends you to snuggling down for a warm sleepy rainy day that rainy sleepy time when it just feels good and right too go too sleep                 Simply rain

This app oddly helps calm me down during anxiety attacks With the recent iPhone system updates this app does not even open and its sort of frustrating bc Ive nothing to rely on when an attack suddenly comes on Please update it Its been two years           Please update the app

I love rain the sound the smell everything about it This app does a great job giving me at least the sounds I enjoy so much without just sitting in the shower lol The only issue I have is the sleep timer never seems to work for me Would love to set the app let it play and know it will turn off But for now I just need to turn it off before I completely fall asleep              Great except

This could be one of the best apps Ive ever used but it has one enormous flaw that kills any potential use I could ever have for this app When it is playing the rain and thunder there issomewhere in the neighborhood of a one and three chance that the alarm will not go off while this app is in use Now considering I use my iPhone as my primary alarm this is very problematic Ive tested this out dozens of times over the last few months and it regularly prevents the alarm from going off If this could be fixed it would save my interest in this app but my fiancé has the same exact problem I do with this app so its not just me     Tragically Flawed

The great thing about SimplyNoise the sister app of SimplyRain is that I can crank up the brown noise and drown out all conversations and music near me freeing me to work Unfortunately SimplyRain even at its loudest is still too quiet I need it to be 23 times louder to drown out radio at Starbucks Thanks        Not loud enough

Ive sampled many sound effects like this but SimplyRain is by far the best It has the right adjustments to change the rain and thunder is amazingly lifelike and will run for days If you have trouble sleeping or know someone who does GET THIS                 Amazing

I use it as my white noise every night to sleep I need it now Lol its the best I wld like if it had different rain setting instead of just thunder like types of rains if that makes sense but none the less I use it everyday              Love it

Ive always needed some form of a white noise while I sleepgrowing up it was always the fan but going to college I needed an alternativefinding this app was the perfect thing and I can take it anywhere I used to use a pandora station which is great for a white noise during the day or while doing work but for sleeping the added pianos and instruments disturbed my sleep This has helped me get longer and deeper sleep If youre someone who needs a white noise this is perfectnow all they need is a ocean waves option                 Perfect for soothing sleep
