I had to come up with a solo for jazz band and I always get nervous with improv so I used this to create my own solo great app and it is only a 12 bar solo to so was able to send the solo via email to prong thanks Worked perfectly in real world
I LOVE this app Its helping so much with writing a song for my final that way I dont have to tote my instrument home every day Plus I can do it when ever and its easier However there is one little question I have I wanted to know if it is possible to send our song through iMessage My friends and I all have the app and it would be easier to make sure we are on the same page if we could share it with them by sending it to them so they can see the notes on the staff and hear it If you could do that that would be FANTASTIC Wonderful But
Ive used this app to practise choir singing with good results I think the input method I quite straight forward and easy to get used to I would say the weakness is in the screen movement you often dont see what youre typing because the keyboard is in the way And when it is playing back the song the screen only moves after the last visible note on screen is played but i think it should move sooner since note reading requires you to know what happens in the next bar Maybe manual control of screen movement would be a good thing to have Very practical

This app is awesome But a really good update would be adding fermattas the eyeshaped things tempo changes in mid song and theres also a bug where the piano if you change the key on one staff it changes the key on the other It also affects every instrument For example I was trying to change the piano from key of C to key of G and I made the change to the treble staff on the piano and when I changed the bass staff the treble staff went to key of A and when I corrected the treble staff the bass staff went back to key of C and this kept going on and on This is almost perfect 45 stars

The interface takes some getting used to but overall VERY solid app My suggestion is for more percussion instruments like snare drum bass drum crash cymbal suspended cymbal timpani and little auxiliary instruments This app is very fun to just play with as much as seriously write something More Percussion needed
Worst app in the world Wont play songs and when it says the free vers can only save 5 I have like only one an it wont save Reeeeealy frustrating Terrible

I like this app but there is no way to control dynamics within the different tracks Everything is forte no matter what and the background vocals and softer chords end just as loud as the main elements of the piece A dynamic option would be extremely helpful Dynamics
The app is great and it works Its just hard to navigate There really wasnt any instructions on how to operate it Its not too hard but its just confusing Also I was looking for a marimba in the instruments but I only came across a vibraphone and a xylophone Another thing is everytime I try to place a note on beat one it moves it directly to beat 2 Hard to navigate
This was exactly what I was looking for but it could use some tweaks like making it easier to add notes instead of having to scroll down to add notes make it continuous horizontal wise Other than that I like the idea and I like that I can create my own music so thank you Great App
Dont waste your time on the LE version Its there to hook you in only At first launch it only gives you the option of upgrading it doesnt work at all if you dont You cant test it you cant try it to find out if it works for you And if you click to upgrade it asks for your password without telling you how much it will cost you Simply outrageous Store creator LE

I was pleasantly surprised to find the free version is fully functional and suits my needs As a composer I am often struck with inspiration for original melodies at the strangest times and have no practical way of notating themes before I forget them unless I am sitting by my computer This app gives me everything I need to notate music anywhere anytime on my phone It will even transpose into keys of other instruments For a free phone app this is amazing Highly recommended A must have for any composer Just what I needed to notate original music on the go
It is useful but several of the regular notes are flat And my music doesnt sound good when I put it in Out of tune

I really enjoy using this app It is wellexecuted and is perfect for when I randomly come up with a tune because with this app I can transfer that idea right into my phone Though this app is practically perfect there are a couple of flaws that I have noted get it noted Sorry about that pun there One thing is that some of the instruments sound strange notably the xylophone Also it would be great if users had the ability to add two different kinds of notes ex quarter and whole on the same staff at the same time for one part I see this all the time in sheet music for piano so it would be greatly appreciated if you could somehow make this possible Thank you for creating such a wonderful app Awesome

All that appears on my screen are multitudes of parentheses and weird symbols with these and no keys flats sharps clefs or bar lines just those please fix this The staff and notes arent there

This is a great app for writing music whenever inspiration strikes especially for a free app however I think it would be a much more complete musicwriting app with options to add percussion instruments especially a drum kit This would expand the range of genres able to be written Good needs percussion
I like the way everything is setup but I wish you could write in your lyrics first A little tricky at first but after a quick scan of the direction your set So close to perfect

Ive only had the app for a few minutes but I was attempting to write an a Capella arrangement and I noticed that all of the vocal staves are in treble clef I have not found a way to change that Will be a great and free substitute for Finale at least for the first few days of school Needs a Vocal bass line
The staff is showing in parentheses and the notes are not showing up right Staff

Before I start the idea for this game is good Just needs work Okay so I didnt like it I have my reasons 1 Overall bad 2 I had a lot of trouble getting it to do what I wanted it to do 3 I couldnt figure out how to get lyrics down 4 It didnt have the instrument I wanted But to they people who made the game Its a great idea it truly is It just needs some work Ugh
I use this app for my band class but when I first got this I found that whole notes would not sustain fully Whole notes quickly decrescendo for some reason but it works Great potential but buggy
I absolutely love this app It is quick and simple to learn and easy to use The only problem I have is adding grace notes I cant compose some of my pieces properly without the use of grace notes Please please please add grace notes Great But
It was a but confusing on how to use I was also very disappointed about the instruments I had expected a harp setting Try adding that and making this more user friendly Harpers look for programs like these to make works on so add the harp in Meh

This app says simple it means it cant do anything You cant even wrote chords And if you can write chords the app isnt simple enough for me to figure out how to write chords Bad
A couple things Number one PERCUSSION No piece of music is complete without a good drum beat Just some toms or a snare or Tenors would be good Secondly tempo There is no way to change the tempo in the middle of the song Other than that great app Great But

Its a really amazing app but it wont let me do ALOT of stuff I want to do I dont know why though But other than that its the best app It was ok I guess
