I can t get sound to work     Sound aubchick

I love all of the apps like this and have been using them for years however the customize your items feature has been very glitchy lately It is difficult to record audio for new items and when it records it doesn t hold the recording to be used when playing the game If this could be fixed you would be right back up at 5 stars             Love it BUT PreKKids

I really enjoy this app and so do my students I love all the features however I would like to request you add a data collection feature that would let me know which words are not being recognized by my students or what words they are doing well with I would also like to see a feature that ends the task maybe being able to set limits to do 10 or 20 etc My students are waiting for an end to complete the task Yes the constant praise does get redundant Besides this I love the alphabet app as well but again I would like to see a data collection and limit features add Thanks for the consideration                     Improve for data collection Jeannette, SLP

But no sound My daughter has specific sight words for her test and I thought this would be my answer to the boring index cards I took out all the words except the few I needed and added them in complete with a picture Go to do the sight words to test and when it gets to my customized words no sound A few quarks to record your voice as soon as you hit record you have to say the word right away or it cuts the word you say off So I figured that out Later playing the app game my customized words don t have sound so when it s time to select the word no sound is read and therefore you can t figure out the word Also if there isn t a picture for the customized sound it s blank and you won t know a card is even there to select Totally bummed         So much potential Tribute311

I love this app because you can program only the words you wan to concentrate on or use all the words at any level You can program it to show any level You can record any words that you are working on I use a lot of different sight word apps and this one is the best I would highly recommend it                     Love this app TMS :)

So has this app truly not been updated in about 4 years iOS has changed so much in that time no wonder a recording your own speech to accompany word lists you create as in create from your child s classroom work doesn t work b the handy dandy reset audio button does nothing and c answering yes to the app would like access to the microphone doesn t enable recording I ve written to the support email address a number of times over the past few months and gotten no reply DOES THIS DEVELOPER REALLY EXIST ANYMORE Perhaps Apple should contact them and find out if they should still be allowed to offer this app any longer Very annoyed         Yet another no sound review nobody reads reviews anyway

I was looking for an app that would help my daughter with her sight words The first grade list was a little bare so I wanted to add some words from school The app would let me add words but wouldn t record the sound Other apps have worked better than this one so far     Would have been nice LuvD7624

This is an awesome sight words app for my kindie One of my fav things about it is that it randomized the words My son like to memorize lists and lists of words in order are too easy for him plus he s not really learning the individual words but the lists With this app it forces him to remember random words which is awesome I would gladly pay for this app if the would add a master word list I m having to pull words from both preschool and kindie lists which is a hassle and if they would allow custom word creation that also creates a visual of that word For instance my don has dog as a sight word That word isn t on any lists on this app I had to take a picture of my computer monitor showing dog to make it look like the other words Other than that awesome job guys                     Great app for ASD kids Big Baby Besus

iPhone 5 When creating a custom card record doesn t work Keyboard is huge If I add a title of a card I can t close the keyboard If I save and go to main menu scale is huge and elements are off the screen Can t orient display as landscape         Needs more work wlang25

I like the app except for the constant overboard praise after each word is successfully chosen I m using it for a student of mine who has Autism He chose two incorrect answers before he got the correct one The voice response was a bubbly You re GREAT He thinks so literally and asked Am I great for getting the answer wrong twice A subtle signal like a bell or whistle would be much less distracting and more realistic Cheering compliments etc would be more appropriate at the end of the list but ONLY if a minimum of 70 of the words are correctly chosen the first time Please stop building up a false sense of accomplishment with this app Kids need to know when they re wrong and need to re think their choices They will not break they will learn I ll re visit it in a few weeks and see if anything has changed Until it does other apps will get my attention for sight word practice             Constant over the top praise is annoying Luavul

While the app is supposed to teach recognition of the word anyone can use process of elimination to get to the right word The foils other words listed are not anything like the target word This means that if a child can recognize the first sound of many of the sight words they can use that to identify the word This is also ONLY a recognition task It does not require the child to read the word aloud and it allows an overly long amount of time for recognition of the word While they offer a hint giving the word itself as a hint seems a little too obvious Yes there are some nice features like the ability to change the reward words the current ones make me want to poke my eye out and the ability to adapt the list however I don t believe they makeup for the drawbacks As a clinician making recommendations for students with learning disabilities such as dyslexia this will not be on my go to list         Not great dyslexia diagnostician
