I cant believe the price for such a great easy to use app Ill never be on my boat without my iPad and this app The charts are easy to read and accurate I needed technical support I am new to the iPad era and support was TERRIFIC Got a boat get this app                 Great app

This app lets you download and store the free scanned charts from NOAA The good thing is that unlike many other similar apps this one shows the whole chart one at a time with all notes and insets The bad news is that many of the charts I downloaded where old 2005 Also bad is that you must know the name of the chart you want to download to find it Ther is no index map or geographical listing of charts The list of maps available and the list of charts downloaded appear to be in random order There is a search capability but it only searches for the map names you cannot search for a port or city name unless there happens to be a map with that same name There does not appear to be any way to check to see if ther is a newer version of a chart available I guess you could delete and redownload the charts periodically to get the latest Ther is no online viewing no way to add notes no additional info added to what NOAA provides        Needs better user interface

I was critical of the app at first because I wanted more detail but I found another map on Sea Map that was more detailed           Worth 2 bucks

This app is great for viewing a chart but not much else        Very limited
