The underside of the robot is too close to the ground so it gets hung up too easily And for whatever reason even though I run it every day there will still be parts of my lawn that it doesn t get too Still better than mowing my lawn manually             Better than mowing jmklein

This app isn t great but for the first time you can see exactly what the Robomow is doing and where it is in its mowing cycle It s a must have if you have a 2016 Robomow             It improves the Robomow experience iPhone in TX

I ve been using this app regularly for over a month now Initially I had major problems maintaining a connection to the bot just as others here have reported Then I started to notice a pattern whenever I had a problem if I looked at the mower s built in display I d see it was prompting for my security code Turning off the security code on the mower got rid of all my connectivity issues save for standard Bluetooth range and stability problems With that issue resolved the app provides a good interface into the mower and its settings Overall settings are comprehensive and cover just about everything you might want the mower to do The one feature I use most often that could stand improvement is the Inactivity Schedule I would like to be able to make different schedules for different days e g M F now between 1700 and 2200 S S mow between 1000 and 2200 The setup now allows for 2 different inactivity periods but the day selections are binary on or off and not one of the hourly ranges That and allow me to turn my security code back on again and I ll be a 5 star user                 Not bad with 1 workaround Alphaman64

I could connect once to the mower where I tried to remote control it for a bout 5 min and that didn t work at all It was lagging so much it was useless Since then I have not been able to connect at all The closest I get it an error message telling me the mower isn t supported but that just seems strange Useless     Should be Zero stars American_Dude

the app is improved still wont connect to the mower after the mower runs a cycle sometimes you have to remove the mower from the dock turn off the switch and reboot the mower before it will reconnect             getting better Jago064

The app on the iPhone works but looks like a beta when you run on the iPad 1 Missing iPad icon apples default icon 2 Preference pane is blank 3 Unable to login with existing credentials you can only create a new account Also no icloud sync between iPhone and iPad 4 Settings don t save to the mower with any consistency at all Just attempt the reconnect configure and save process a few times eventually it actually saves to the mower Luckily you don t need to update settings that often Overall the weak Bluetooth connection is pretty annoying max distance is 5 to 10 feet before it cuts out My jawbone earpiece works over 100 feet on the same iPhone This frustratingly short range defeats the whole remote control mowing function You have to walk directly behind the mower impossible to use from a lawn chair much less the couch as advertised The Bluetooth setup is also unlike any other device it refuses to recognize the mower if already connected via settings app Forget the device then open this app sit and wait for 7 or so prompts that pairing failed within the app then it works My suggestion to the developer is to just publish the Bluetooth commands on their website and allow anyone to create an app for the mower         Needs work joer293

The app on iPad with 7 1 iOS doesn t find the Robomow s so called Smart Bluetooth within few inches of it No instructions in the owners manual no help on developers website Feeling screwed by this app which was one reason for selecting this brand of robot mower     Not so smart Snowboarder1211
