The app provides me with all alternative transportation options in downtown Austin and a ton of cities across the US and Canada I get around using a couple of alternatives such as carshare rideshare bikeshare carpool and even public transportation All in a single app Love it                 Best urban transportation app

I love this iOS app Its innovative always improving and its motive to reduce traffic congestion and single occupancy vehicles is clear I use this app as a student to get around Austin when I need to take the bus somewhere or want to try one of the new ride providers based in Austin The bikeshare feature is especially great because I can now use BCycle to bike to Zilker Park by simply putting in my point A and B entering in my payment info and walking down to the BCycle station on Guadalupe which is 2 minutes from my home I also love the transit feature because I am constantly using the Metro Rapid to get to my internship downtown and want to know the best time to leave my house to get to the bus stop The transit schedule is easily accessible alerts me 5 minutes before the bus is set to arrive and also shows how many minutes it will take me to get to my destination Fabulous I definitely never use Google Maps anymore trying to get around town and had never heard of the Carma carpooling app actually I never knew carshare existed before downloading RideScout Awesome stuff                 Getting from point A to point B just got easier

Most transit apps do a great job telling conveying real time information bus stops etc But very few help you get from the curb youre standing on to the door youre heading to RideScout transit directions walked me to the bus stop got me on the right bus alerted me when to get off the bus and then provided accurate directions to complete my journey It was the total trip experiencelove having multiple options to choose from when the bus is late Thanks Ridescout                 Awesome transit directions

This app has been such a great tool in helping me get around everyday by showing me times and prices of all my options I love that this app includes more than just public transportation and shows me every option around me RideScout has been especially great for when I travel and am unfamiliar with what my options are I also love that I can sort by cost and have an idea of how much I will be paying for every option This app has definitely introduced me to options I would have never tried For example after seeing how convenient and affordable zipcar was I ended up getting a membership The app also introduced me to other useful transportation options like sidecar Lastly I appreciate that Ridescout shows me REALTIME transit I highly recommend this transportation app It has become one of the most useful apps on my phone So glad I found out about this                 Lifesaving

I am living in downtown Austin and am constantly taking Car2Go and BCycle to avoid the downtown traffic RideScout makes traveling downtown easy and allows me to see all the costs before I embark on my trip and even shows me traffic so o can avoid congested roads I love being able to book a Car2Go straight from the app and seeing how many bikesdocks are available for each BCycle station                 Great tool for Car2Go and Austin BCycle

I am down right in love with this app It will tell me all different ways to get to my destination and whats the cheapest I HEART Ridescout                 Saving money

I currently use the app for the Bcycle program right now The map is not very dynamic it seems that it only wants to let you put in a destination rather than being able to move around the map manually but then wont show all the bcycle stations at said destination If you try to manually move around the map to look at what stations are around the area it starts automatically putting in directions based on your finger movements on the screen and again wont display all the stations Message to the app developers Please please update the map on this app its very clunky I always end up resorting to opening the internet on my phone and searching for bcycle map layouts insteadwhich is supposed to be one of the purposes of this app It makes using bcycle a very time consuming experience if you dont know where all the stations are        Confusing map setup

Used to be so accurate I guess its a bit like guessing the weather Sometimes pretty close to right other times way off and I stand in the cold for 10 minutes or more waiting for the supposed bus to appear           Falling out of love

Just downloaded but not had a chance to actually use Facebook is NOT a requirement if you choose skip at the bottom It is hard to see as the font is in white against a light sea green background One feature of interest is the price calculation for you mode of transportation or calories burned Look forward to putting the app to work during my travels              Kinda Cool

We need you down here in Newport News and Hampton Virginia it is upandcoming fast every year I come down there is considerable growth and diversity and plenty of room for business Since I commute between the two states including New York I cannot wait to try this app Im very excited for its existence           Winnah

Most of our addresses have dashes in them This wouldnt recognize them Its of no use to me Deleted     Wont accept Hawaii addresses

The new version of ridescout is awesome The interface is much improved and the transit bus and rail options are great I just updated to the iPhone 6 and the app works really well on it They also finally added step by step instructions so I dont have to open up google maps                 Awesome app Best transit app yet

I discovered a few more transit options in my hometown that Im looking forward to trying soon Ive lived in my city for 11 yrs but I feel like Im rediscovering it in a new way thanks to this app Its nice to not drive as much because traffic has become an increasing problem This gives me directions and all the available transportation modes I can take based on where I am now Im learning how to be carfree                 Finally I can make a decision about how to get around with only one app

RideScout is helpful because I dont always think of all my options when it comes to getting around town It shows me cabs buses carpool options etc How much its going to cost time it will take routes and what not                 RideScout is super helpful

My favorite part of the new RideScout App is the transit combined with Mobile Ticketing On my way from the office to the Bus Stop Im able to do a quick real time search of Transit and know how many minutes I really have to the stop It usually gives me notice I have time for a beer while I wait It is also nice to see bus stops along the route as I am traveling Its always good to see bikeshare and car2go where they exist in the city                 Real time transit with mobile ticketing helps

LA is not an easy town to get around when you dont have a car or want to drive RideScout to the rescue I dont know what I would do without having all my transportation options in one place Probably spend two hours on the bus when it is a 15 minute bike ride Just downloaded the new version Cant wait to play                 LA Transport

All I want is an app to help me plan a trip using a bike and the metro When I tried planning a trip this didnt give me a transit option and told me to either drive my own car or take a cab     Stick to google maps

It works well in realtime but harder to use it for planning Bicycle routing is odd and sometimes routes the cyclist onto unlawful routes        Nice Bicycling routing not so good

Without these two theres not a great selection of get there now tools meaning you have to check multiple apps Add uber and left and you have a pretty great guide to every city In your hometown this may be a better app for somebody who doesnt have a car because it does support zip car              Please add Uber and Lyft

Id use this app more if it could tie a BART trip to a bike share trip All my BART options lead to long walks that pass up bike share stations              Transit to bike share to walk trips

For someone new to the city it has become an integral part of me getting around Download the app                 Marketing

Nice new update from RideScout I mostly use this app for real time bus arrivals and info about when the trainmetro arrives The new version has improved real time data and better visualization of my route This app is great since it allows me to choose other transportation options when transit doesnt work for me Im late its raining etc I also like using RideScout for bikeshare and CarShare since I use both car2go and Zipcar I like the app improvements Keep em coming                 Real time actually works

This app continues to get better I really like the integration of the ride options on the bottom of the screen Very helpful for me as often time I know what mode I want to take but need to see all the options for that mode And thanks for allowing to quickly reverse the direction of the trip Keep going                 Digging this new update

I really like the idea and love that It utilizes bus car cartogo deco bike side car I hope in the future they add lyft and uber I havent used it yet but did a test checking a route I often take It was spot on however it did not take into account the cartogo home area if I didnt know I would have driven the car to my destination and then would have got stuck with a fee for the whole day because you cant park outside the home area unless its a stop over But def a cool app              Interesting concept but may need some tweets

I absolutely love this app My favorite thing is I can see all of the options to get around San Diego and Los Angeles in one app I can search by length of trip or cost I love that I can book my car2go in the app Since using the app I ve ditched my car for the most part walk more car2go more and ride transit more because I always know how much and how long it will take me to get from A to B                 Essential in Southern California

I am a big fan of combining transit options with car2go and Bike share RideScout is the only App that combines them for me I travel a lot so I am always in different cities with metro systems I dont know well In addition the compass allows me to orient very quickly Im looking forward to being able to pay inside the App When is that coming                 Every version is better than the rest

First Facebook is NOT required I clicked skip it skipped and I use the app often Times and directions are accurate and directions are good Things Id like Better tie in with Amtrak Richmond CA Amtrak isnt found Ability to drag the pin to where you are or want to start instead of typing an address Keep doing updates and including different transport types Note which types of transport are accessible for disabled users              Great app

When Im running late ridescout tells me when the bus is coming and what other options rideshare bike rental car rental options there are if I miss the bus The Cap Metro app can tell me what bus to take but not how far away the current one is and when the next one is Really important to have that real time info quick at hand if youre lazydisorganized like me                 Great real time transit info

I had a terrible time getting the app to even download the first time Once I got it up and running I discovered it hasnt been updated for DCs new Silver Line Also the latest update wont load for me either so this app is of no use to me right now     Nice Idea Not Great for DC

As a NYC resident RideScout provides an amazing resource As a now former HopStop user RideScout combines subway cab rideshare and bikeshare walking and personal driving all in one app Phenomenal idea                 Great Idea

Great great app I swear they built this for me I have bikeshare zipcar car2go use the bus metro and taxis when I need them RideScout literally has all of them and tells me where to find them those little bits of info that help me decide what Im going to use on the fly I also just moved to Austin without a car which is hard since its a total highway city RideScout has been great for using cap metro transit especially since it has realtime This is crucial since buses arent frequent AT ALL here I also love being able to actually book my car2go in the app I can attest to the fact that RideScout works great in DC and NYC Such a fan                 Indispensable

I enjoy using RideScout when I travel to NYC and other cities but its also handy when Im exploring my new hometown Its great for finding the least expensive transit as well as realtime bus schedules around town Honestly wish I had thought of it                 Love this transportation app

Ridescout is so helpful in picking a route and method to travel I love weighing my options based on time money and even calories burned Ive also learned about new resources I hadnt previously considered to get around the city The app is easy to use and the graphics are clear Would recommend to locals and tourists alike New traffic updates make it even easier to choose the best ride and route                 Love It

Anyone who lives in Austin knows how much of a pain getting home from a night downtown is Not anymore I opened up RideScout a while back in hopes of finding the closest bus stop and route to get me home RideScout not only did that but it showed me a map of all of my transit options AND the bus schedules RideScout also just released a fairly large update My favorite features The improved battery life and ride clustering Now my battery lasts longer when using the app and I can actually see the map because its no longer litters with icons Great job RideScout I look forward to future updates and additions                 Great tool
