Now the stories you re following, follow you with The Gazette-Journal iPad app. The app is free to download and the Home section is available to all users. As a Gazette-Journal subscriber, you ll be ...
Both the print and browser editions are often difficult to access especially when traveling Print edition sometimes opens on secure account website and it is difficult to get to current edition from there Browser often states invalid password when the password is actually valid Sometimes even when Gannett Tech support via phone call or email changes password it still wont work on travel devices such a smart phones and ipads Browser edition when working well does not allow printing This is quite inconvenient whether it is an important article or just a crossword puzzle A lot still needs fixing        Not easy to access
The RGJ app provides an odd collection of local and national written stories plus videos Instead of capitalizing on local RenoSparks content the editors try to make this app into just another slice of the internet The news section frequently has entries from days or weeks earlier Poorly shot local video pieces are mixed with legitimate reporting Mugshots of people arrested for petty crimes are one of the big visual elements of the layout It all seems like a wasted opportunity On the plus side the app is stable and reasonably fast And of course it is the only app semidevoted to RenoSparks news           Meh better than nothing I suppose
Exact same articles as the USA Today neither is very good so why pay for both Same info is presented better and with greater detail on the LA Times fed Gary Roma        Bad website
Agree with above This is better than nothing but its close to nothing The news is old isnt updated appropriately and is barely worth the cost     Not beneficial
