i travel all over the world buying antiques collectables uniques crafts i am in cities villages and on jungle roads i can take a photos with GPS on and get mapped directions to go back to that location where the photo was taken on google maps or maps and keep this info on file for future trips Rego is the best app like this that has all these features                 John coiner Gems of Antiquity

I love this app so awesome to easily categorize and save locations My one complaint is not being able to zoom in on an area in the main map screen with all the pins              Almost perfect

This app came in very handy for house hunting and marking locations of playgrounds I needed a gps app that allowed me to drop multiple pins in several categories This app fit the bill perfectly Id love to see a future update that shows my contacts with addresses as a group              Great niche app

I have been a regular user of this app for the past year and if you want an easy way to keep track of favorite places its perfect The recent version 2 is a major upgrade with many great features see the app description on iTunes It provides a way to quickly add a location notes and photos I now have a way to see places Ive been with photos and notes a map view a list sorted alphabetically or arranged by distance The app website regoto gives a great overview of the features                 Great location bookmarking app

Love this app I as a photographer Ive been looking for something like this for the longest time to catalog scouted locations for photographing Ive used other apps in the past and while functional theyve lacked the polish thats needed for me to love it and want to use it everyday Rego does this Its a beautiful app and delivers on aesthetics functionality and feature set I especially love the backup feature and the export feature 5 stars from me                 Other reviews dont lie Exceeds expectations

Please please remove the map view button from map put it in settings Also give the option to change the red dot to different icons Then it will be a 5 star app        Love the app but

This app for me does one thing But it does it well I add a location based on my location with GPS so that you can remember the locations The app also lets you add pictures of the location which at times is just for fun but at other times can remind you about the location It allows you to grouptag the locations so that you can group them For example if you add restaurants you like you can view restaurants and it will sort all of the restaurants on your list and show them in order of distance from your location                 Good app privately tag locations as reminder

Love this amazing app Just got back from vacation and wish I had it then Any chance for folders I would love to be able to add a folder of pictures instead of several photos from one trip taking the whole page                 Fantastic app

Great for planning out trip itineraries as well as maintaining active lists of local places for quick reference on the go                 Fantastically useful app

This app has become my goto for when Im on the road I love being able to geotag a restaurant or tourist spot add photos and notes Its come in really handy when I want to remember that great place I ate at fire up Rego click on the place and get directions And I always have a photo of the outside just to be sure If you travel or just want a scrapbook of your favorite places this is the musthave app                 Perfect App For Travel

So happy you can export collections in standard formats gpx KML as this makes me feel much more comfortable putting work into this that I can get back out Feature request share a whole collection and update at least the keyboard to iOS 7                 Excellent

Yes its more expensive than some other apps but Rego really is the best out there for what Im looking for and they continue to make improvements It has been very useful for pinning all of our job sites with pictures and notes attached to show specifics of each site in one database I can easily sort the job sites by collections of clients distinguish between new old and finished jobs by changing the pin color and mark current jobs with a star All of which can be filtered accordingly They have a BackupRestore function with Dropbox which can be used in a roundabout way to sync multiple devices However Im hoping theyll come out with an update which enables iCloud Sync and Collaborative Pin Collections so other employees can add and change pins in the same realtimesynced collection Apparently they are working on something along those lines It is still useful to email message and post pin collections to the website for other employees to view them I am also very impressed with their personalized customer service and how quickly they responded to help me switch over my pins from my old bookmarking app The support staff immediately forwarded me to one of their engineers and they were both actively working on my case Although some of my old pins werent found most of them were theres much to say about the quality of support they offered I see great things for the progression of Rego and its capabilities                 Best in its class for my business needs and excellent customer service

For 5 this app should work When I zoom in on an area it zooms back out Whats the point of adding places to visit when I can only view everything zoomed out Viewing all of my locations in Manhattan at once does not help I need to zoom in     Please fix app

Genius app currently a favorite I use it to keep lists of frequented cities I then add my favorite restaurants independent shops etc You can add directly from the location or ahead of time by typing its name Then you can save the coordinates to get you to from My favorite thing to do is use Instagram search whatevercityfoodie to scout save restaurants in new cities ahead of time I believe you can also share your lists with friends                 Fantastic

Really easy app to keep track of places to go back to With the web dashboard and parade of new features it just gets better Only downside is that it doesnt keep actual addresses only the GPS coordinates which can mean you still have to hunt around for the place youre looking for in a crowded cityscape                 Great for keeping track of favorite places

I have been using Rego for many months now and it is absolutely the best waypoint management and database app I have found to date I cant imagine traveling without it now it certainly has changed the way I travel and plan for my trips I use it as my universal location database and export my waypoints from Rego to other apps as needed eg Waze Google as well as all my Garmin GPS devices I use iOS Basecamp mobile to export locations to my Oregon 450 on the go no laptop or data connection needed waypoints to Pocket Earth for ondevice offline routing and to Basecamp on my Mac via Air Drop for export to my Garmin Nuvi via GPX Responsive support from Developer and frequent updates It is not perfect yet but it is the best out there at the moment I recommend this app without hesitation                 Excellent Location Discovery Bookmarking Sharing App

I bought Rego at version 10 I had been wishing someone would make an app to easily keep track of places like restaurants I want to try Rego was exactly what I wanted and it has worked perfectly The new 20 adds nice features Rego is a steal at twice the price                 One of my favorite apps

This is a great app I particularly like that I can both hyperlink to it from other apps AND put hyperlinks in the notes field to take me to other iOS apps as well as the Internet This makes it very easy to integrate the app with my other activities without needing to keep manually hopping from app to app One more step towards having an unbroken chain of links from a single home page icon to anywhere in the world                 Well connected resource

Like this a lot It is very well designed Ive used it for years now at the time I am updating my review and it is particularly useful for marking restaurants and sites in places I visit rarely but occasionally return to                 Useful app

Me and a friend are photographers We have tried several location scouting apps like this one This is by far THE best Lots of options features that make this app very effective and useable The Developers are great also They had made a change that caused us to lose a feature and they are adding it back SEE its a great app created by great people that listen What more do you want                 Best Location Scouting App EVER

This app badly needs a way to bulk edit For example if I want to move 20 different entries into a folder it would be great to select the entries all at once and then move them instead of selecting each one going into edit and assigning it to a folder           Like it but really needs option to edit multiple posts

I wanted an application that would allow me to privately keep track of the places Ive been I really dont like Four Square the swarm and all that stuff Rego has been incredibly simple to use and to tag places I have been that I would like to visit again or recommend to someone in the future The web interface makes it really simple to add places when you dont want to use your phone Rego works like a charm as well when you want to plan places to visit where you have not been before The developer support is great replying in minutes when I have sent suggestions for future versions If you want a solid and simple application to track down places you have been to and that you would like to be look no further                 My Traveling Bible

Revising my review once again With the new update sharing has taken away the ability to share the photos and captions and text notes from the location So no point Completely ruined my usability and function Just horrible Why are you going backwards Revising my review and rating The ability to share via messaging and email are there now Not sure if they were before But it didnt seem apparent You do need to give your email and sign up for the app It then creates a unique link to a web page that is shareable The map even allows the ability to navigate to the point using your choice of Apple or Google maps So as of now its a great little app especially in the line of work Im in for scouting locations Its still a little pricey but worth it as much as I find myself using it Portion of the old review below I could possibly get over the price but not the limited functionality Otherwise it has potential Other reviewers bring up great points about being able to export navigate to and back up to Dropbox etc all missing Future versions maybe and then itll be worth the 499 asking price     Not so Great

This is a decent app I like the tagging and folder features I probably will not use it much though it desperately needs a Google My Maps import function It is tedious adding content one item at a time           Needs Google Maps Import

I love Rego for keeping track of points of interest in the world Places I want to take photos food places to try locations to visit Its clean fast and easy to use Now with the widgets its fantastic                 Great for reminders on the world

Major problem widgets do not work if Reduce Transparency is enabled One star rating due to Accessibility problems Author never tested for this was notified over a month ago and has not updated app Great for making multiple lists of places to go although UI is cumbersome Needs native iPad version iCloud sync but Im not holding my breath for it to occur     Author does not address problems needs native iPad icloud sync

Work as advertised I love adding vineyards and other restaurants so I can find them again or recommend them to others The new version looks great and the ability to use custom colored pins really helps find things A wonderful app I especially like the new today widget Works great                 A great app

I love this app I use it to bookmark bar and restaurant recommendations so I can remember interesting places to try when in an unfamiliar area I only wish that the pins could be colored so that I can label and organize spots that Ive already been Otherwise perfect                 Favorite map bookmarking app

Rego is a great app for bookmarking places to try in the future and creating collections to share your favorites with friends Anytime I come across a recommendation or interesting review for a place I save it in Rego When Im out of town I simply open the app and see what Ive saved in the area In the notes for each place I keep a short note such as a dish to try or the source of an interesting review so I can remember why I saved the place With the new companion web app you can share collections online so its easy to share your favorites with people visiting an area you know well                 Great for saving and sharing places
