I ve used Refills for more than 5 years I love the ability to color code activities such as family members or different groups I belong to I can search for past events such as my last dentist appointment It seamlessly connects with my google calendar and other apps to add events I can change views to see at a glance activities for the day week or month Unlike Google or Apple calendar on the monthly view I can see appointments scheduled without clicking on each day This is so helpful when planning something months in advance For frequently scheduled tasks like kids sports team practice or work schedules Refills lets you use your history to populate calendar dates quickly Refills also easily works with RSS feeds like school calendar or sports teams ensuring you always have the correct schedule in your calendar Thank you for a fantastic product                     Versatile calendar app busy1

First off refills offers hands down the simplest most intuitive interface of any calendar app available and I so far intend to keep using it BUT My schedule involves many regularly repeating events in addition to singular one off ones and I d desperately like some way of visually distinguishing them preferably by color code But refill offers no straightforward way of doing this A workaround I found involves entering regular repeating events as tasks and singular appointments as events and then color coding tasks events differently Should solve problem right Nope that would be too simple a solution The PROBLEM is that for whatever reason Refill s pages refuse to show regularly repeating tasks not in monthly weekly or daily view even when you specifically TELL it to It has no problem showing regularly repeating events however Soo finally I inverted my workaround by classifying all regularly repeating events as events and all singular appointments as tasks The PROBLEM NOW is that task entries offer far fewer specification features than event entries so now when I create new single appointments as tasks I can t specify the place of address phone number or other details most useful to that type of entry Meanwhile don t need that level of detail with my routine events since they re routine Hope this makes sense since it s kind of an advanced user feature at issue but most frustratingly one THAT WOULD BE SO SIMPLE TO SOLVE in ANY number of ways Just enable calendar to show repeat tasks or enable us to add more detail to tasks Or simplest of all just offer a way to COLOR CODE DIFFERENT ENTRIES DIFFERENTLY I had such high hopes of Refill but for me this is a biggy and basis to search onward for the calendar app that has it all             Loved it at first BUT Agent Orange Tabby

I have been using this app for about 2 years now after going through a multitude of other apps Visually Refills reminds me of the paper DayTimers system that I used back in the 1980 s I like the fact that I can actually see events on the calendar for the entire month Some of the other apps either don t show the event on the calendar monthly view or the writing is too light or too small to see I also like being able to sync my personal calendar and my office calendar and have everything in one place It was well worth the investment in my opinion This is the first review I ve given an app I use it on my iPhone and iPad and it works fine for both                     Best DayTimer Icharlita

Refills is an odd name for a mostly single purpose application Don t let the name fool you Refills is a powerful calendaring application with most all of the bells and whistles without inducing complexity I won t go through its capabilities except it doesn t complicate the function nor usability Highly recommended                     Fantastic Calendaring App Gomjabber

I have loved refills for years Absolutely loved it But this new upgrade brought a small disaster My entire calendar has disappeared All of it I wrote a note last week and got a rather snippy reply about not reading the instructions correctly Not helpful Please help me This is two days later and somehow magically all of my calendar material has reappeared Obviously you re doing it right still Thank you so very very much                 Loved it but now a Problem Lady Stariel

I like the free version better I was able to enlarge the font size right on the month calendar I am visually impaired and find it difficult to see I bought a new iPad and the old version would not transfer The price was way too high     Fon t Queenita. Linda

I like the current version of Refills 3 9 The Google task sync is not running on the background like the calendar sync and it is so slow I gave up on this otherwise very fine app         I returned to Refills but kukaduro

I have been using the free version of this app for around 18 months and decided to pay the ridiculous upgrade price for the full version to remove the annoying ads Ad removal is about all you get for the upgrade cost The custom calendars are nothing special and as a bonus for paying for the full version you get to re enter all of your Tasks from the free version into the full version The full version appears to be a completely separate app and does not transfer your Tasks If I had it to do over again I would have stayed with the free version Lastly the customer support is very slow to respond to questions         Don t Upgrade If You Are Using Free Version SuperD22

This app is excellent but lacks landscape view It also has a bug when you have task selected to show on daily weekly or monthly pages and you check a task as comets it still shows in calendar views even though it doesn t show in task view                 Needs Landscape view DJMay

This is the best replacement for datebk on Palm OS It s the most powerful task calendar I ve found You can manually set text colors using RGB 256 for each category of task and select a color for calendar items as a group Task pages are separate for each task category you create I like to use Day View instead of task view to show tasks due today across ALL my task categories yellow for am tasks blue for daytime tasks green for errands brown for calls orange for online purple for pm red for urgent In task view main page which is like a table of contents for the following task view pages you can edit task categories to change category order and color This order will appear in day view e g am tasks can be listed first pm tasks listed last You can also order tasks WITHIN a category in day view For example you may wish to move get mail to the bottom of your daytime tasks because your mail arrives late in the day To accomplish this go to that category s task view page select my order from the pull down at the top of display area Reorder tasks then go back to day view You ll see the order is changed I also like to put appts at the bottom of day view because I have only a few appts but tons if tasks You can also have preset to dos by selecting that you want history button to actually be a favorites which you can edit So your task favorites can include your personalized list of favorites like get email or clean bathrooms while your appt favorites list is separate for haircut or staff meeting Love this feature So here s my wish list 1 A per task entry where I can select how far in advance the task will show up in day view Currently it only shows if it is overdue or due today I would like items due by Friday to show up on Monday Thursday because I requested 4 days in some days adv field thereby not being overdue until Saturday 2 A pull down in day view that advances all unchecked or at least unchecked non repeating tasks by one day For instance although I thought I would accomplish 12 things today when I only accomplished 7 I don t have to select all 5 tasks individually to change their due dates to tomorrow This is because I don t want NONCRITICAL overdue items to appear at the top of tomorrow s day view as they do now 3 When setting the date add the option day after tomorrow where there is currently today tomorrow and next week listed below the date selector 4 I would love the function the Calendar app has when you select the magnifier and only see days that actually have appts listed on a scrolling screen This is the best way to see if you re open because you can scroll around for weeks easily It s the only thing I ever use the standard calendar for so please add this one so I can retire calendar from my main screen 5 I consider this one a bug fix Suppose I have a weekly repeating task on Monday but I couldn t finish it Monday It will appear at the very top of my tasks on Tuesday because it is overdue If the task is not super urgent I really don t want it at the top If I edit the due date to be the next day in this case Tuesday the task s repeat schedule automatically changes to be due weekly on Tuesdays instead of Mondays Technically that should only happen if I selected a repeat schedule of every 7 days It should really remain repeat on Mondays As it is now I have to move repeat day back to Monday once I delay my task by a day Overall I love this app I have other todo list apps that I use for projects or shopping lists but this is my fav for everyday tasks and calendar I m on it all day Thanks for the last bug fixes I love my new refills appearance pages                     My goto app I use it all day long Ratchet Wanna Be

I use this app as my primary calendar since it offers far more flexibility in saving reminders with unlimited time choices you can input recurring tasks with non standard recurrence intervals and built in task list which all magically sync with iCalender and iCloud Synching with Google is added bonus I recommend it to all                     This is a huge improvement over iCalender drbob2e
