Designed for iOS 7, Redd is the best way to browse Reddit on your iPhone or iPod touch. - Search and browse your favorite subreddits - Add and reply to comments and stories - Upvote and Downvote stories ...
Previous version had a more intuitive way to switch between subreddits UI on new version is buggy displaying double header sometimes when switching subreddits Would love to have the old version back please Previous version was better
make it for ipad to make it for ipad to
Love it no complain D Great reddit app
I like the app but theres one problem Wheres our subreddits we subscribed to I need to be able to get my subreddits and not have to add them back Good but one major flaw
Looks good nice icon too Lacks basic functionality re commenting messaging etc Also sorting by top only gives the option for 1 day Lastly it occasionally hangs up or gets stuck in a menu or comment chain page requiring a restart Overall a decent start to what I hope will be a better app EDIT down to 2 stars now that I see the app hasnt been updated in almost half a year Not holding my breath on future improvements app appears to be abandoned A good start
This is the most aesthetically pleasing Reddit app to me Doesnt have any stupid animations or design inconsistencies I just want to be able to read my replies and messages too Ill stash this in a folder and wait for an update I dont really like the other apps that much and would prefer to use this as my main client Great Just needs an inbox
I like many others have been using Alien Blue Redd is a great client app and Im excited for the future that this app could have Id like to see reply and comment notifications in the future A Excited for the future
This is a great app but yet there are many things in need of a fix such as lack of inbox and constant crashes If this gets fixed I may think about giving it a second chance Needs Fixing
I like the UI but the UI is practically the only good feature The night mode of course is a credit but altogether the app lacks functionality Settings are too hard to reach and customizations too few The bottom dashboard is stuffed with variations of the same thing Above all the app is slow and freezes as it loads which is frequently I think this app can be efficient beautiful and highly functional It certainly has potential Good with Improvements Needed
No way to check inbox or view other users info or even your own Cant seem to figure out how to upvote comments and by default comment threads are hidden meaning if you want to follow one you have to hit view 1 reply over and over This is basic functionality that is missing Cant imagine a reddit browser without these features Lacking in basic functionality
I like the UI here and layout better than alien blue but I need more functionality before I actually use it as my main Reddit app 55 would download again Better than Alien Blue but needs work
Some things I would like to see being able to tap the status bar to return to top when reading the comments of a post Also it would be nice to be able to collapse comments after expanding them These are my two main gripes Looks nice but unpolished
This is by far the best Reddit client on the AppStore The interface is great and it works perfectly Great
The other reviews outline the missing features and occasional difficulty with navigation but I feel there is no better Reddit app available When I had iReddit it was the perfect app but it slowly struggled in certain areas All true Redditors will appreciate the ease of access to their subreddits and new content Not perfect but best available
Such a great interface to browse Reddit but in desperate need of an update for iPhone 6 waiting patiently I have Alien Blue aswell but I keep coming back to Redd Best Reddit App out there
This is a beautiful and well polished app with UI that blows away other Reddit clients for iOS However its features feel lackluster when compared to Alien Blue or similar apps Up voting is more difficult and searching and experiencing subreddits is limited There is no way to search a subreddit or view its sidebar Scrolling through subscribed subreddit also feels cluttered Its a well designed app but it could use much more functionality Beautiful but lacks functionality
Title says it all Full of bugs slow loading at times poor text formatting
It shows up on any post Please fix Awesome but hes not the only one with the 3050 bug
After latest update crashing a lot esp if pictures involved Of note is an older iPhone 3 Crashing
This is an okay app for browsing reddit but it could definitely improve on how slow and crashprone it seems to be The app also misses a few vital features such as searching reddit for keywords and viewing messages Review for Redd
I love app it is very simple and looks wonderful I really wish I could check messages though might hold off on using it until then Great app needs messaging
Only issue Ive ever encountered is that the app crashes occasionally when I open up the first comment thread of any post other than that its a great app Pretty good
Thank you whoever designed this app It is one of my favorites Simple and Perfect
Another alien blue user here Honestly I just like thing that look clean and modern which this app does Alien blue is nice but didnt give me that modern feeling Im all about how things look and this looks awesome Looks very sleek
Dont know what everyone is complaining about The new UI is excellent Love the new UI
One star until I find a way to search sort by new posts SEARCH NEW
I love this app and continue to use it but one thing bothers me If you click on something in a subreddit where it shows the points the post has it will say 3050 points for every post Please fix this even when i updownvote the post it says 3050 Good except for one thing
Selecting and changing subreddits is not very user friendly and is not enjoyable to use I almost cant use this app any longer Why change the subreddit UI
Compared to all other reddit apps this one by far has the best UI Navigation is simple and night mode is awesome That being said its slightly buggy on iOS iPhone 6 Im sure with a little fine tuning to scaling and gestures and Im sure itll continue to be the best Update soon please Great app
First off let me say this is an awesome Reddit browser faster smoother and better laid out than Alien Blue or Bacon Reader I love how the pictures load in the same page as the comments and that I can submit posts I really really want to leave Alien Blue and use this app exclusively But Not being able to submit comments and read messages is a huge omission Please add an inbox and I will happily switch over to Redd and rate it five stars because everything else about the app really deserves it Potentially the best needs inbox
This is by far the most gorgeous reddit app and the most in line with the iOS 7 aesthetic It has enough functionality at the moment to replace my other reddit client but I do look forward to additional features and a more streamlined subreddit management system in future updates Im positive Ill be checking back in to change this to 5 stars in no time Keep up the great work dev Gorgeous
No it bloody isnt Ive been using AlienBlue for a while and Redd feels really different from it Interface design interaction totally different from AlienBlue You cant say its a ripoff because they both share the same purpose To help Redditors browse Reddit on iOS device Do you think Tweetbot is a ripoff of Twitter Although it is not as functional as AlienBlue right now I think Redd has quite a lot potential IMO AlienBlue is overloaded with functions and take UX less seriously but Redd is the total opposite Really want to see how the maker is gonna improve on this For people said this is a ripoff
I just like the way this app is set up The concept that the subcomments are closed until you open them up is a nice touch and so far this is the only reddit app I can tolerate Great work Update for iPhone 6 plus please Functionality is Great
It started off great but after the first day when I open it it takes a long time to load if it even does Glitches
Great app and easy to use One thing i dislike about it is that it constantly will not load pictures Im not sure if its because of the pictures file type or because the app just does that but that can be annoying Pretty nice
Cant flip between sub reddits No Facebook sharing Bad Update is buggy
It is impossible to use Literally cant use this app anymore Please change the subreddit UI
This app is pretty good will you be adding a profile page soon Ide like to see what I post P Love it so far
This is an amazing app but I would love the ability to save a post Thats the only thing thats missing Gorgeous But
Previous version was harder to use I think simplifying the interface always is better Love the update
Night mode is useful but I dont like the red banner in the new update I prefer the previous versions lighter and more neutral look Night Mode
Ive been using Reddit for a little bit now and have literally tried every other Reddit app on the store Redd is by far the most fluid easiest enjoyable app that Ive used My only 2 requests to make the app absolutely perfect is the ability to search for terms not just searching specific subreddits I also would like to track my topics and posts within Reddit Cannot wait for future updates Big thanks to the developer for such fine work Such a great Reddit App
I like Redd but I want to be able to love it I currently use this as my main reddit client but I wish it had more features How about my messages Adding the option to search within the specific reddit Please add those Graphically this Reddit client is the best looking
It would be perfect if the app was as easy to use as it is to look at Its hard to tell what subreddit you are in after clicking a link from the front page and searching is dismal Beautiful but
Great reddit client I have to use alien blue for mail BEST REDDIT CLIENT Needs Inbox
I have waited forever to see an app that connects with reddit and a ui that looks like it wasnt made in 2001 Finally
Could be nice when its done Unfinished
Great stable app A Better than alien blue
For the casual browsers of reddit this app has the best combination of UI and fluidity out of all the ones Ive tested aliens alien blue narwhal redditor baconreader my reddit and reddito I recommend it Edit has to take a couple stars away for this version Its super buggy Best UI
Great streamlined app for reddit users Alien blue seems to clutter things up but this app clears the space Future refinement of visual elements will put a better sense of content for end users A night theme could help Simplifying titles I believe will give better professional look Either way thank you for making a great app for people looking for something simple Keep up the great work Great app
