I use this site on the computer but will not be using this app It has crashed 3 or 4 times since downloading it 15 minutes ago Fix the problem and I will use it Crashes too often

This app actually works as well or better than the mediocre recreationgov website Nice compliment to other apps like RV Parking and Trip Advisor Works better than the website

This app misses most of the available sites and of the ones shown the information is bogus Most sites on website are reservable yet shown as walk up only on this app Its only good if you are on the road and willing to take potluck It doesnt even tell you if a space is available for the nights you need I would give this zero stars if that was an option Its definitely worth the price Totally unreliable

The RecGov online site is down for repairs and Im not getting any sites to pull up on the mobile app as well Hoping its because of the upgrades theyre giving the main site Well see Until I find out any info otherwise this app officially BLOWS About the only thing I can confirm is this app opened up and i was able to navigate its completely useless information without it crashing Bout all I can say Totally worthless at the moment

The app no longer works Sure do wish they would update the app and make it functional I go camping all the time and have to have a computer to book a site Cant use my iPad or iPhone App no longer works

This app does just what it says it does and Ive used it for a couple of years now However it only covers FEDERAL recreation sites not STATE recreation sites or PRIVATE campgrounds The one area of the data that could be a little better is the showing of Dispersed Camping areas within the National Forests Grasslands and BLM lands Read the Descriptiondoes what it says

I put in my zip code and no matter what other parameters I choose only 1 campsite appears over 200 miles away Not ready to be in the App Store Horrible defective app

Marginally helpful Data base does not include many US National Forest campsites near my home that I know are there Compared to Nerd Ranchs no longer available Campwhere this one is frustrating and pretty lame Recreationgov Camping

My biggest problem with finding a campsite on the road is having good cell reception This app solves that issue with an offline mode Love the simple interface Loving this app

It used to work fine but now just locks up at startup Tried reinstalling and rebooting Nothing helped Locks up at startup

This app has a good interface but Deff does not show all the camp sites available IE modoc national forest has like 20 none of them show up Please fix this and I will absolutely change my review Not accurate

Just like the website but with the ease of mobile Those who note that there are limited camping spots should know that this is a reflection of parks and campgrounds not being set up for online reservations and not the fault of the app Great app

This app does list those campgrounds and recreation areas where a site can be reserved It misses many that do not permit reservations In the filter it needs the following improvements 1 an option to distinguish group from individual site campgrounds 2 it lists all sites as walk up if the Tent filter is set even though they are driveup sites 3 if the Waterfront filter is in it does not even include many lakeside river and stream side campsites Gives the Basics Needs Improvement

Great idea I just wish the app was more stable Nearly every time I want to view a description or photos of a campsite the app crashes Id use this regularly if I could depend on the app working every time Crashes constantly

Information is not accurate Searching dates on this app and wife searching on laptop for same dates I get not available she has a bunch of sites not choose from Please fix could be a great app Please fix

I can plan my camping vacations from my mobile Finally

Have used this app successfully for a couple years just figured out today though that many of the walk up only sites in Californias parks are actually reservable on the recreationgov website not walk up Would be huge disappointment to show up expecting to camp and an empty spot only to get kicked out by people who have reserved it Needs updating

I live in the Bay Area and was looking for a camp site to get away to for the weekend I am a big fan of the web site but this app doesnt have the same coverage of camp sites Terrible coverage of camp sites

The app was working and dont know exactly how accurate it was about sites being available But it has stopped working completely Deleted Useless

This works well to see whats available around you but I wish I could log on to my recreationgov account and see my reservations If it had that option it would be better It would also be helpful if it had the places and activities around you Needs to be expanded more Wish you could log in and see reservations

The app is decent but the website breaks down site maps facility maps etc so you can see which spots are where Thats one of the main things I look at on the website so I can see whats near the water This oversight to me makes this app a fail PLEASE add interactive maps like the website has Ok app but where are the maps

Recreationgov is not much better for usability but at least it works most of the time This app should be removed until it works Stupid Corps makes lots of BAD decisions and this is just one more I used to think they were cool Now I hate the Corp of Engineers Theyre ruining our parks and restricting everything Most of our parks are shut up like a prison except for 3 months of summer We like to camp year round Useless app Says sites avail but no go

Please ignore the asinine reviews giving low ratings This is for federal parks Federal means national parks not state not regional etc My friends in the time it took you to write your review you could have educated yourself and looked up the word federal since clearly you didnt know what it meant Great App for Federal Lands

I dont get it The search option has a zero rate of return I dont think Im doing anything wrong Seems like a pretty straightforward app but I get nothin back on every search Weird Same prob with Reserve America app Confused

It seems easy to use and I can browse sites from my phone and it seems accurate with the official website Maps would be a nice addition However I cannot click yes to agree to terms and conditions from my iPhone so I cannot book from my phone This needs to be resolved Cant click yes from phone
