Recordium - Highlight & Annotate Voice Recordings

This app is awesome the best I have seen on App Store but to be really perfect I suggest the makers to add to it the possibility of resuming recording a recording creating extensions to existing recordings                 Resume recording

NOTE as of 21115 The developers seem to be fixing some of these problems Over sixty of my vanished files magically appeared a couple of days ago after being lost for up to six months and so I have been able to recover them I think a dozen or so arent yet recovered So if you too lost files see if they are back Ive bumped them up a star as a result They havent abandoned servicing this app But Im still concerned about what will happen when we get iOS 9 some day NOTE AS OF 61015 STILL NO UPDATE SO IM LOWERING IT BACK TO ONE STAR Eight months since last update which did nothing Still swallows recordings and cuts off randomly Everyone should ask for refunds This is fraud Total misrepresentation of what they are selling Apple why are you letting these crooks run a scam under your name I really like this app but it wont save any files on the app It shows that it does but after a day or two the recordings are gone However if you go to your iPad usage setting and look at the app in the manage storage area the files appear to still exist I have 2 GB of recordings I can neither delete or access In iTunes there is no way to delete them I have since been able to recover and delete 12 GB out of those 2 GB of them with the Feb 2015 fixes No response from support except an automatic reply promising a future response which I never got Companies like this should not be allowed to sell in the App Store There is no excuse for anyone every losing a single recording I have death bed recordings of friends which are now gone forever     No one should buy this apperases everythingyet files accumulate on iPad

Any interruption will lose your recording Files are not saved     Recordings not saved if app is switched

I bought this app to record my lectures during class for me and sometimes my teachers have drawings that I like to take photos of However when I take a photo the whole screen freezes for 2 seconds and the app crashes Thankfully I programmed it to autosave but for a 10 app I would expect it to be able to take a photo without crashing     Program crashes

This WAS a great app for recording ideas and interviews but its saving system is totally inconsistent Gotta delete it before it gets me in trouble     Update sick of losing data

Why did you make this update All it did was take away features 1 I used to be able to renameshare files from the menu now I have to go into the file and it starts playing Awkward when youre in public 2 Now the file list has huge text so I can only read the first little bit of the file name To see the rest I have to open the file and it starts playing Awkward again Both if these things used to work fine Now theyre gone 3 Half the time I hit record the app freezes and crashes and doesnt record Never had this problem before How can I downgrade to the previous version     Update took away features

This app failed to record two important conversations It looks like its recording but the app hangs and then crashes while trying to save them Your recordings are gone I do not recommend this app to anyone     Didnt record 2 important conversations

Neat app but as someone else mentioned iCloud support needs Mac integration        Ok Mac OS support needed

Its a shame how unreliable this app is because its by get the best one Ive seen I still use it though Im pretty neurotic about the content Always backing it up              How many times will I loose my data

Totally useful Take a moment to learn how to use it and it will be blessing for you Want to record in high quality Make sure to go to Settings the gear symbol at the top and choose CD quality Then choose AIFF output When you want to get your recordings out just connect your phone to your comp iTunes should open get it then click on the iPhone on the menu Once you do another window will open showing all your apps Scroll down to the bottom where Recordium will be listed Once you select it youll see all your files and whatever ones you select you can then click on save and youll be able to choose where to save them Thanks Recordium                 Great app

Just had a very important Dr Appointment that I recorded I paused the recording when we were finished and when I went back 3 minutes later to save it the file was gone Thanks for absolutely nothing I am so mad     Deleted before I could save

Recordium works well I like having the choice of different file types Would be perfect for me if you could pause a recording and pick it back up again where you left off and also be able to put a passcode on the appfiles I use Supernote if Im just making little reminders to myself or if I want to keep my recordings locked up                 Does well

Great app it lets you tag and mark the imp sections while recording which is an amazing feature for me One star out coz it only display in landscape mode which I dont like to use                 Like it

I was excited to use this for meetings but unfortunately after clicking save it did not save Thankfully I had another recording source as a backup I tried creating a test recording and it did save that time but I could not figure out how to upload my recording to Google Drive OneDrive or Dropbox I tried letting the app synchronize my recording to iCloud but it has never shown up even though I have it configured correctly     Useless

DO NOT BUY THIS APPThey make it sound like it syncs with Dropbox and Google drive it does NOT You have to open in Dropbox or Google Drive app and then save it inside those apps Its not syncing to iCoud like its suppose to either It also lacks the ability to pause a recording rewind a bit and record over a mistake You can pause but not record over or even play a current recording in progress Waste of money Like 99 of apps Do not recommend Do Not Buy     Does not sync with Dropbox or Google Drive or iCloud

I havent have an issue about app deleted files but I like for an auto save folder I stop recording one time too many to find out that I forgot to hit save and lose the files Overall a very good app              Auto save

At first I liked this app Then it didnt work when Bluetooth was on so that had to be disabled Now I cant retrieve my recordings Hours worth of IP vanished Ideas concepts actions Gone Poof If I could give it a negative rating I would Worst possible app I own out of the 150 apps on my iPhone     HORRIBLE

Unless you have a problem with something just working then I think you have found your recording app Works great on my iPhone 4s              Just works

Cant see photos and notes when you email the recording My entire goal Worthless app and a waste of 999     Very difficult and not worth it

I had sync issues with previous versions Never was able to completely sync between iOS devices Now after update it will not record It stops right after you tap on record button     Wont record after update

This app gave me my first chance to have to ask a source for a redo on an interview It said recording but after I got done with the interview there was nothing in the file I wont be trusting it again     Total fail

The app is slick great UI and good features But they are just awful at managing data Files deleted at random syncing and backup options not working logically They need to hire a new backend developer until then having this app up on the app store seems unethical I lost crucial data to a composition with a due date having gone to this after Soundcloud removed its record option from their app Really disappointing I really like the frontend design     Data Loss

Still no support for iPhone 6 Lazy developers or what     Good app but terrible UI

Still no proper iPhone 6 support The developers dont seem to spend much time on this app While it does sync between iOS devices again finally it still does not sync with iCloud Drive on Yosemite And now theyve made it so that the files dont even show up in the app files in iTunes unless you go to Share Sound iTunes for each individual recording Just stick with Voice Memos or another app like DropVox        Incredibly difficult to sync to computer

Update Things have gone from bad to worse Not only does iCloud sync not work consistently but now the app randomly deletes files This is not acceptable Was my favorite recording app but now unusable Was a 5 star app until recently Now a useless app for me since iCloud doesnt work Please fix     iCloud sync broken

I wanted an app for recording my kids funny talks unfortunately I cant tell you how many times this app had failed to either record our save And the UI is not intuitive at all One time I tried to trim the file but ended up deleting most of the file instead I wanted easy sync to Dropbox No love there Developer Mohammad you are holding our recordings hostage by not allowing the use of iCloud Drive or Dropbox We paid for this app but you just left it unfinished and hasnt updated it since 2014 I hope Apple bans you for life Although not strictly a voice recorder I now depend on Notability which has working iCloud sync and Dropbox back up Get Notability instead     DO NOT TRUST THIS APP

Now I like it a little less Ive lost 2 recordings of important meetings thanks to the clumsiness of the controls     I used to like it

This app worked great for a while Nice UI Nice compression Then it began to delete files at random If you are recoding anything important dont trust it to this app Im meticulous about not losing data My recordings are critical to my business so I thought I could guard against this by the upload to dropbox feature Unfortunately uploading multiple files to dropbox is so slow and tedious that its not functional for backup Im not sure why it started to delete files but I tried getting an answer from the people at Recordium and they never even bothered to reply Losing data is not acceptable     Deleting files

Ive urged the developers to add autodropbox sync which would make this app perfect Instead they pulled dropbox from it completely Big time mistake 5 star goes down to 1 star     No more dropbox Big time mistake

I was enjoying this app until I started wanting to share and email my recordings Their website states that there are direct links for emailing and sharing but I have not been able to figure out how to find those links I looked for tutorials but couldnt find anything that helped Ive emailed their customer support asking for clarification FOUR times over the last couple of months with absolutely no response I would not recommend buying this app because the developers obviously do not care They want your 10 and thats it Ive learned my lesson Im moving on     Some features not intuitive and no support offered at all

For work I wanted the ability to record talks and workshops that we later include in podcasts and other online media I settled on Recordium Pro after trying several similar apps and have been satisfied with the audio quality ease of recording and the basic editing features Since I record on an iPod Touch and have other Apple eccosystem devices I wanted to use iCloud Sync I cannot get this to work at all Instead I get the interminable rotating wheel sometimes for hours but never any evidence of inclusion on my iCloud Drive Yes I have enabled iCloud Sync in the settings and in the app The app does permit transfer via Airdrop wireless sync with your computer and Open in which I have used with Transmit and Google Drive to make copies of files So far I have not lost any files           iCloud Sync Doesnt Work but Otherwise OK

Although it looks great it does not work that way My big issue is with sound editing You can not audio preview your cuts plus this snip function does not work at all And there is no cancel or esc option once you enter edit mode I tried to contact the company but got no response The tags is a good ideabadly implemented as you have to reach those tags manually You should be able to touch the tags so the cursor would move there automatically It doesnt do that Not worth it at all     Not worth it at all

Ive had problems with the app in the past freezing losing data but that has been fixed and my recordings were restored Im a student and this app is very valuable to me Im unable to take thorough notes due to disability so I annotate and utilize my recordings thoroughly I wish the export function supported files other than caf though              Very Useful Works great on iPhone 5

The app use to work well but now its almost impossible to get your files and save them into the computer Syncing its worst no all the files get transfer and the app gets frozen to the point that wont open anymore making you lose all your documents because now you have to use ITunes in the phone to be able to see them in the computer I rated with one star because it was a good app before the unreliable updates     Very Unreliable

This app does not do what it says I cannot cut different parts of a song and I cannot put parts of songs together Struggled with it for 2 hours yesterday Would like my money back     Want my money back
