ReceiptMatch from American Express OPEN

This app was much more user friendly and functional before the latest update     Awful upgrade

The main reason we use this app is the capture all receiptsgone I have attached while the charges are pending and then when they are confirmed picture is lost ANDit wont let me attach another file Error messagesPlease fix     App lost all function

Attaching receipts to pending charges seems safe again They dont appear to get lost when the charge moves to Posted If this fix holds The new version of this app is awesome again              Bug Fixes seem to have corrected the issues with this app

This app used to be one of the best I could update a receipt and AMEX would automatically match it to my transaction With the latest update I have to manually go find the transaction which takes a huge amount of time Not sure why this was implemented but AMEX just screwed up a great thing     Loss of functionality

So adding TouchID is cool but now we dont have the actual matching feature     Lost Features

You cant add receipts while theyre pending or else they get deleted You also cant add receipts after the statement period ends     Dislike it

Great app simplifies the paper process notes section lets you enter information A must have for AMEX carriers                 Receipt Match

This app gets me organized I like the fact that I can save my receipts immediately for record keeping That way I will easily verify purchases and also have it ready for tax purposes Great                 Awesome App

I really liked the previous version of this app I have tried to be patient and told myself I just needed to spend more time learning this new version But Ive come to conclusion its not me but rather its the app that isnt working I try to scan my receipts right away immediately after a purchase Sometimes though the receipt doesnt match a hotel or vendor charge exactly because they have tacked on a deposit fee and the charge had not been adjusted I saved the receipts anyway because I know that this is the right vendor However when the final charge posts the app strips out anything already saved there such as tags and receipts Luckily I saved my paper copies This version of the app is way less friendly than the previous which was actually rather perfect to tell the truth Please fix the app so we can save receipts to a folder and match them later     This App went downhill

Instead of saving receipts and trying to correlate at the end of each week I just take a picture in the moment and AMEX files them online for me              Simple and straightforward

Accepted by IRS and shows up with my online statementdoes not however import to Quickbooks Accountant version Really needs to do that                 My accountant loves this app

Added automatch but now broke Touch ID It says service is not available So only 3 stars Get it right Amex           Major Fail

This was a great app before 30 but when they removed the ability to scan a receipt without first matching to a xaction they killed the value and convenience of the entire process Totally bummed especially since we were going to base our companies new expense business process on this app     Wow AMEX just killed their receipt app

This app was better when it matched the receipts for you Now it takes longer and feels more clumsy        New update makes more work for you

Great app but the touch ID on the iPhone six has not worked for over a month Please fix it        Touch ID doesnt work

This used to be a petty good app now it is just to time consuming Also there needs to be an ability to add the tip It goes into receipt match as soon as it is charged but I have no way of matching once I add the tip     Used to be pretty good now it is lousy

Terrible How can you remove the function to automatically find a match for a receipt Severely disappointed and dumbfounded Bring back the function that made this app good Bring back auto matching receipts     Deplorable

I just started using this app for my business and its been such a time saver                 Great for Business

The new version now makes more work for you No longer can you just upload receipts then login to apply the ones that did not automatically apply You now have to attach them yourself And when the period closes so do the receipts So if youve been traveling for two weeks and go back in to snap some pics youre out of luck Please go back to the old way So much easier     Downgrade

Why or why would you remove the point of the app You need to rename this spend hours matching yourself Really bad changes to remove the scan and auto match     Terrible Terrible changes

Where did the functionality go to capture receipt and have it automatically matched to its corresponding transaction Touch ID is great and very necessary for an app like this but this most recent update misses the apps core functionality completely Really disappointing     Automatically Capture Receipt

I dont know what AMEX was thinking with their most recent version but they took a decent app and ruined it They have alienated the user with their broken receipt match process Very disappointed     Horrible Revision

Updated Sept 2015 Automatic matching is back Thanks for listening Updated May 2015 This new version has downgraded the functionality in that you need to find the transaction before you add the picture No longer matches automatically Makes for more work Perhaps this is how Amex solved for the fact that some pictures never matched Pros Fantastic premise as it keeps the receipts organized online with the transactions on your actual monthly statements Tags set up online are carried over to the app Cons Requires relogin after periods of inactivity Some receipts are never matched no rhyme or reason Overall a great productivity booster from Amex                 Automatic matching is back

I agree with most others here this update makes this app far less user friendly It was so convenient to be able to snap a picture immediately after a purchase Now I have to wait until the transaction is processed and then dig up the receipt later No thanks     Poor update

Really aggravating when I attach a receipt and tag to a pending transaction only to lose it when it moves to transactions           Receipt bug

30 is awful As many people do I use AmEx for work Previous version worked flawlessly with the hundreds of receipts I have to keep up with Issues with 30 Receipts tagged to pending charges do not stick Receipts tagged to posted charges rarely stick This makes me have to go in on a desktop and upload photos from there YOU CANNOT VIEW PAST STATEMENTS Only current statement AmEx please please please fix these really stressful issues The older version was great PS the old version of the website was way better too     30

This app and accompanied website connection with Quickbooks has changed my life Its amazing easy to use and keeps our small company up to date without extensive expense reports every month Just enter them as you spend                 So simple

Horrible update Cant load receipts from past statements When doing expense report I often have receipts from last statement and I can not load them Please go to past version        Sharon

I was excited about Touch ID but now it doesnt auto match the receipt You have to find the transaction I couldnt find where to add an old receipt Couldnt go back to last month Much more time consuming now Pretty disappointing     Update Makes Things Much Worse

This used to be a good app that was quick and worked well The new version is terrible slow takes too many clicks to record a receipt and is just about worthless unless you like to spend a lot of time waiting I have communicated this to AMEX and hope they revise it back to the old version which was a delight to use     Receipt Match

You can no longer find old transactions I cant upload receipt images from the app And a ton more is gone I assume that AMEX didnt ask users what they wanted HUGE FAIL Highly disappointed I guess Ill need to find a new card and receipt processing app     This app just went in the toilet
