QuickSwitch for Belkin WeMo

Well it was nice while it lasted 2 for 5 minutes of use Bargain Now wont recognize any of my 6 devices     Worked for 5 minutes

I was using the Apple Watch IFTT Do Button app to turn on and off my lights It was pretty slow This is instant App loads quickly on both iPhone and Watch which is surprising Exactly what I wanted and have no issue paying 199 for this                 Exactly what I was looking for

Lightning fast operation for my WeMo outlets So convenient to have the options to use on home widget Well worth the cost highly recommended              Great App for WeMo devises

This app makes WeMo devices better Belkin should buy this guy out and make this the WeMo app Support is great as well Would pay double                 Great utility to make WeMo more convenient

I would like to see the option to change colors for the wemoosram lightify led strips Not just a simple onoff Other than that its a great app and more dependable than the official Belkin wemo app itself              Wemo osram lightify led strips

This app rarely functions as advertised In order to control my WeMo insight outlet i have to remove and readd it every day on my iphone6 It does appear in the list of devices when i open the app but the app will not control it unless i go through this daily For an app i actually paid for something i rarely do i am VERY disappointed with this I bought it because it had watch support And this works once i can get the app to recognize my device But its such a pain in the you know what that it would be far easier for me to just walk over and turn on the item i have the WeMo controlling manually Dont waste your until they get this working right     Rarely works

Had the old stock WEMO app It was slow and just plain crappy I just loaded this app on my iPad and iPhone and this app ROCKS Worth every penny I just deleted my old stock WEMO app                 This app is 1

In general the app is quite well done and it shows a lot of promise Belkin should hire this guy rather than whoever is slacking at maintaining the Belkin Wemo app I love that it works with Apple Watch where the stock app doesnt Heck the stock app hasnt even been updated past the aesthetics of iOS6 as far as I can tell A couple of quibbles 1 I have ten Wemo switchesinsightslight switches I cant rearrange them using the edit feature they just go right back where they were If I had three or four switches I probably wouldnt care that much but with ten Id like to be able to arrange them in a way that makes sense to me 2 This app detects my Belkin Netcams as devices with flippable switches Since theres nothing to switch on and off Id just like them to disappear from the list Unless of course I could take a quick peek at whats going on on the cameras on my watch Thatd be excellent but I understand that its impractical 3 Last I know Belkin has an API because IFTTTIFDO can access the switches when Im not on my home network What would make this app truly killer is if I could use it when I wasnt on the same network as the switches I run two networks at home One for active traffic and one for various smarthome gadgets The Wemos plus a few dozen other gizmos take up a lot of IPs Id love not to have to switch back and forth between the networks              Shows great promise

This app is much faster and more reliably functional than the official app The Notification Center widget and Apple Watch app both work great I wish there was an iPad version but the widget should work well there too                 Fast and functional

Like many I find the native wemo app painfully sluggish This is app is so much quicker it blew my mind The only fault with this app is you have to be on your home wifi to connect to the devices Nonetheless this app is a must have for wemo consumers                 Much quicker than native Wemo app

I can now control the lights and fans in my house using my apple watch I love it                 It works

I bought this specifically for the associated Apple Watch app Unfortunately while the iPhone version works very well the Watch app does not It seems very unreliable You can reliably toggle a switch once but then try as you might you cannot toggle it back again until a variable amount of time elapses up to maybe 10 or 15 seconds And if you are repeatedly trying to toggle a switch a second time sometimes it inexplicably toggles twice very quickly and the result is you are back where you started I suspect this has something to do with a combination of failing to reliably register the touch and an unpredictable multisecond delay in communication between the Watch and the iPhone Often the phone displays one state of the switch while the watch displays the opposite state Always the phone is correct But this behavior is unacceptable The net result is that the Apple Watch part of the app is useless I understand the 5 star reviews for the phone app But if you care about the Watch app do not buy this     Apple Watch app works poorly

Finds 2 devices out of 12 I have and those have the name reversed have downloaded app and reinstalled 3 times Dont waste your time or money     Was ok

The app does exactly as advertised It is a quick switch for Belkin Wemo It loads quicker and responds faster than the app made by Wemo And supporting an independent developer is great as well as the quick and informative responses Looking forward to all the upcoming promised functionality                 Quick and simple

While I cant adjust dimmers or cycle lights remotely while on cell this is clearly my go to app while at the house Im keeping the Belkin app for those unique remote rules and configuration processes However for daily management and speed of initialization this wins hands down              Way faster And cleaner app

Bought this app and doesnt work well for me Only finds one of my Wemo bulbs Have two more and it says devices cant be found        Not so great

Only works locally doesnt work outside of the local network The Notification Center widget shows absolutely NOTHING I have 10 devices shown in the app itself the widget shows ONLY a title bar Doesnt support all WeMo devices my WeMo maker device doesnt show up As of now there is no purpose for the app in my case When I get my watch this may change but the app needs a lot of work regardless        Needs Work

Thankfully the developer keeps adding features My lights dont dim or turn onoff at the same time like the Wemo app Its more of a serial action instead Not a big deal but its kind of weird watching it happen Also once in a while it will find my devices but after connecting and coming back to the network it wont recognize them anymore I then have to manually add my devices but it cant find them So weird when my Wemo app can find and communicate with them just fine while on WiFi Needs to be more consistent for daily use              Groups and dimmers are great

I cant believe this app has such a high rating I have to reconnect each device at least once a week At least I did when I used it cant be bothered anymore This app will only work at home when on wifi Worth the money I think not        Not so great

This app turns my WeMo light switches on and off instantly something that can not be said for the native WeMo app The app runs on my Apple Watch and is by far the most useful third party watch app at least for me The design is simple yet very effective I had a question about the app and the developer responded almost immediately The developer evidently cares to provide first class support for his product In summary I am very impressed and for the price of a cup of coffee this app represents fantastic value                 Nothing short of excellent

If you use WeMo switches this is the app you want                 Its everything the Belkin app is not

I have various switches and outlets The App took some time to even detect them and then it wouldnt toggle them properly Half the time I flip one switch and another will also toggle and the one I originally flipped never turns on Buggy update I uninstalled and reinstalled and it seems to be working Not sure              Doesnt work in current form

Legitimately works Its a nice easy UI granted I wish it was a little less STOCK UI if you need a UI designer give me a ring But Im happy to have an app on my watch now that allows me to control my wemo lights                 Not a stuffer review

I dont normally write reviews but this app is phenomenal Im blown away at how quick the WeMo devices Insight respond when I press the toggle switch Also has All On All Off which the horrible WeMo app does not The reason for 4 stars at this time is WiFi access only One things WeMo does offer is access to devices via cellular ie LTE which is great when away from home Add that and its 5 stars Final note Not requiring WeMo app installed to add new devices would make this app 10stars in my book              Awesome

Was having issues with Belkins app timing out and not turning on the light Quickswitch found my device quick and worked right away A on the app guys                 Easier and faster than Belkin app

This app opens right away on my Apple Watch And it works perfectly I was using the do button before but it is very slow and unreliable The app on the iPhone is also better than the Wemo app Well worth the asking price of two dollars                 Fastest app in the west

Aloha I have had and used four Wemo switches pretty much since they first came out years ago I love their usefulness and functionality unfortunately the app for Wemo has always been pretty lame slow and outdated Enter Quick Switch I found this app on my first day of using my apple watch and was stoked that it gave me the ability to control my Wemo switches from the watch as long as Im at home and connected to the same WiFi as my switches If you need remote access you will still need to use the sluggish outdated and not optimized for the 6 plus Belkin Wemo app This Developers app works so much quicker than the stock one even the notification center widget loads and can turn on or off devices much faster than opening Belkins Wemo app and waiting for it to load Since getting this app I pretty much avoid the stock Wemo app these days The most recent Quick Switch update on 728 is awesome with the all on and all off switch scared the crap outta my girl last night while watching something suspenseful and I hit the all off button and got a nice little punch for my actions Anyway thank you sir for your awesome app I look forward to your future updates especially concerning the Apple watch and possible remote access one day Love that he has included a place in the app to leave a tip as well 5 from my tip jar to yours                 My 2nd app review ever

This is a definite requirement if you have a WeMo controls The creator is constantly working on adding new features We Mo should buy him out                 Awesome app

I got this when I noticed the official WeMo app doesnt work well on the iPad This one does And it works better all around The adding of devices is much faster And the widget is great Id be even happier if you added rules or something similar Thanks                 Awesome

This a great app to control all your WeMo devices it has a really good Widget that is easy to use and it has Great Support                 Great App

This app is better than the official Wemo app in that its much faster to turn lights onoff and with the latest update theyve added DIMMING which I really wanted Thanks to the developer for adding this The only problem is that it doesnt do a great job of initially automatically finding your Wemo devices Adding them manually works but its hard to know the IP address of all your Wemo devices Loving the Watch support as well Now only if the app could do remote control from outside the home then it would be much better              Better than the Wemo app

Lets face it the WeMo app is pretty terrible Its slow to respond and it has no Notification Center support The stock WeMo app takes forever to load and execute commands The IFTTT solution that WeMo advertises is a joke and adds considerable latency With the stock WeMo app I kept wondering if my devices air conditioner fans would actually turn on and turn off WeMo thinks that pushing the same button to turn the device on and off is clever its really not because you dont always accurately know the status of the device Some window air conditioners can actually be damaged if you fail to turn them off for at least 3 minutes so this is not a trivial feature So 199 seemed like a somewhat expensive gamble but this app fixes all of those problems and adds Apple Watch support It is totally worth 2 I cant wait to see the app become even more responsive on the Apple Watch after Apple releases watchOS 2 and we get native app support The toggle switch makes straightforward control of your devices a breeze Kudos to this developer He deserves your support for producing an awesome app that is simple to use and does EXACTLY what he says it does                 Unbelievably Awesome and Totally Worth 199

This app does exactly what it needs to at a much faster speed than the original app The interface is much more simple and even has widget and apple watch support making it just so much better                 Works better than the Wemos app

Developer has too many friends to give this more than one star I would do zero but cant Its weak No features Not worth a single penny     Horrible

This is not really a fully functional wemo controller The wemo app allows you to remotely turn on and off your devices However this app only works within your network     No remote access

It is there in the fine print and I missed it so the developer is an honest guy and I wont ask for my money back because it is my fault But 99 of the reason I have WeMo is to make it appear I am home when Im not or mind the dog when Im away If you have similar intent keep the WeMo version and skip this until that change is made Quite a shame as the response time on toggling devices for this app is far superior to the WeMo app and there are other positive attributes Hopefully it will be done in the future There is a note about forwarding a router address if you have network chops which I dont        Remote access not included

If you have a Wemo device buy this right now This is a very nice update with dimming and alloffon switch They have been gracefully added to the UI I do wish there was a way to remove the alloffon buttons as I dont see myself using them but this is not even a complaint What an app                 Astoundingly good
