I ride a Harley that requires 91 octane which is hard to find without ethanol unless you have this app When I travel on my bike I always use the Pure Gas app                 One of the most useful apps you can get

locates the nearest ethanol free stations across the country is able to quickly isolate those available in your general vicinity with ease I use when traveling and the only it could be better would be to have the option of choosing your preferred map solution instead of the Apple Mapbut it still isnt a reason to not download this app I only run ethanol free in the newer of my Jeeps use this whenever I am leaving for a new trail system or wheeling trip far from home so I know where to plan on stopping to from my home                 as awesome as the PureGas mapping itself

After buying a used vehicle 2010 VW Passat the former owner advised me to use ONLY ethanolfree gas I had no idea you could still get E0 let alone where to find it Needless to say this app is for me a true lifesaver Were currently taking our first road trip in the VW it was most reassuring to find a plethora of stations along our route THANK YOU                 Impressive

This app is a MUST for those wanting to only use Pure Gasoline that doesnt contain Ethanol I recently realized how seriously bad ethanol is for anything that is gas operated Ethanol causes all sorts of problems including wearing out rubber seals and gaskets overall poor performance and drastically reduced miles per gallon up to 25 Even the Germany company Stihl which produces some of the best chainsaws trimmers blowers and other professional equipment in the world sells their own brand of fuel called MotoMix for use in their products because ethanol is so bad for engines and they realized the only way to make sure you use ethanol free gas was to sell it to you Stihl engines are 2cycle which means you mix the gas and oil so they sell their MotoMix premixed gas that is ethanol free for 35Gallon which includes about 5 worth of oil mixed in so basically 30Gallon for the ethanol free gas and people not only buy it but they send in reviews saying how the extra price is worth it because their engines performed with a night and day difference with ethanol free gas This app allows you to put a similar quality of gas into your car Even if it costs a little more you must keep in mind that driving on ethanol blended gas decreases your miles per gallon by up to 25 so in the end pure gas will more than make up the cost difference by you having to refuel less often and you getting more mileage out of each gallon of gas Another key example of how bad ethanol is for gas and gas powered engines is that gas with ethanol in it has a shelf life of around 2 months and gas WITHOUT ethanol has a shelf life of 2 YEARS So if you filled up your motorcycle with ethanol blended gasoline and put it away for the winter there is a good chance that the gasoline would no longer be any good after the winter was over and your motorcycle would not run at peak performance if it ran at all which is why gas stabilizer must be used Pure gas that doesnt have ethanol has a shelf life of at least TWO YEARS and also remember that ethanol drys out rubber seals and gaskets causing your engine to prematurely leak fail and run bad overall whether it is stored for the winter or run every day So why is there ethanol in gas Theres a million reasons and conspiracy theories why but the main reason is simple diluting gasoline makes it go further and reduces our need for gas which is why the government supports and incentivizes the adding of ethanol into gas in many ways including paying farmers to grow crops just for ethanol paying gas companies to add ethanol to fuel paying car manufacturers to make engines that can run on higher and higher amounts of ethanol e85 engines all the way down to incentivizing the consumer to buy ethanol vehicles e85 usually under the umbrella of these cars being greener The concept of diluting gas makes sense and if ethanol had no down side and could magically turn 100 gallons of gas into 110 gallons we would all celebrate but the problem is that ethanol deteriorates gas and engines dont run well with any amount of ethanol in them in addition to the multiple reasons listed above Ethanol is just combustible enough that most engines can run with up to 10 ethanol in its gas but as stated above the engines wont run correctly and you will lose up to 25 in your milespergallon Adding ethanol to your gas is like a marathon runner running a marathon while smoking a cigarette can they technically do it and finish Yes they can but its not good for the runner and heshe wont perform to the best of hisher abilities because God didnt design our bodies to run off carbon dioxide from the cigarette so even if there was some side benefit of smoking while running hisher body is going to run so poorly that the tradeoff is not worth it Do yourself a favor even if pure gas costs more which is not always the case pay a little bit extra now and save yourself down the line from costly repairs and by getting higher miles per gallon Do the research and youll see ethanol in any gas engine is a horrible idea Thank you to the developers for producing such a helpful app for the informed masses sidenote if you are at a gas station and need gas and arent sure if the gas contains ethanol and there is no way to tell then your best bet is to get the highest octane version 91 and higher because those are usually the ones that wont contain ethanol Even if its 10 per gallon higher thats 1 for every 10 gallons you get and remember the milespergallon benefits which will even it out or save you money after using that 10 gallons                 Awesome MUST have for anyone that buys gas andor drives

Good app is pointed in right direction for what i want my first trip out of town however was unsuccessful Found Efree station but machines were down no attendant Completely out of the apps knowledge I managed other towns ive been lucky Just start looking before too low Im getting much better mpg on my bike 3220with Efree additives dont compare We just need more Efree friendly places info              Work in progress

This app is simple and easy to understand I like how it gives you the grades of gas that each station has as well it has been very helpful in finding the gas that I need I would highly recommend this app                 Great app

Checked out three stations that this app said ethanol fee but at the pumps stated may contain 10 ethanol To me thats deception and must contain ethanol otherwise why make that statement Bad app     App not correct

The App can list and show NoE stations on Apple or Google Maps But if theres no Cell service then no map I have offline Map Apps on my iPhone Give me the options to send the location to one of them There also needs to be a feature for updating the database location info and entering new locations              Nice App but needs a bit more work

I refuse to put ethanol in my boat and it is hard to find a gas station that has pure gas This is App is a winner It makes finding real gas much easier and the maps are dead on Thank you for taking the time to build this very helpful App Now we need one that tells us where all of the bulk ice machines are                 A Must Have for All Boat Owners

Took a small engine repair class and instructor gave us this website Now I only use ethanolfree gas in all my yard tools Didnt realize how ethanol ruins small engines It may be more costly but the tools run smoother and dont breakdown as often              Helps save engines
