Project Countdown

I love the concept of this app It is brilliantly designed when it comes to deadline tracking It displays just what I need to see to stay ahead of deadlines I love the main screen display It is both functionally powerful and elegant in design Also I love love love LOVE that I can import all the deadlines from a particular calendar I have a calendar just for work deadlines so this feature saves me lots of extra typing It also has the ability to autoprioritize projectsdeadlines for you but you can manually override it to adjust the priorities too There are some unfortunate flaws and limitations though the display of time left to do for projects does not decrease when project tasks are completed or deleted The only way to adjust it for now is to do so manually This is the biggest issue Ive found and it needs to be fixed tasks cant be successfully deleted you can delete a project deadline and you can change the name of a task but you cannot delete an individual task assigned to the project In ios704 attempting to delete a task causes the app to crash there is no way of rearranging the task order within a project the progress bars on the main screen do not change to reflect the amount of work remaining either When you complete a task for a project deadline the project bar doesnt shorten So they are purely decorative for now and Im not sure if that was the intention or not I like the solid bars going all the way across because they keep the screen looking organized and uncluttered but it would be amazing if the designer could find a way to make a functional progress indicator that still looks streamlined tasks marked completed do not get crossed out fade change color or otherwise indicate at a glance that theyve been completed once marked as complete Instead you have to tap on the task to see another screen showing its been completed This current setup is inconvenient There is no ability to add subtasks This is not a huge deal but it would be useful and I would like to see this feature this is minor but when setting a time estimate for a task the wheel opens up on 15 minutes instead of zero In order to set it for 15 minutes you have to first move the wheel to 30 minutes then back to 15 I would like to see this fixed some of the navigation could benefit from being further streamlined There are some screen views andor buttons that could probably be combined meaning fewer things to click through The main screen however is gorgeous Im rating it 3 stars mostly because of how much I love the idea of the app and also because the app is still usable even though it isnt 100 functional The main screen is great I would give the app a perfect rating if the issues Ive listed above were fixed I would give it 4 stars if the biggest issues above were fixed All in all this is a really good start and I hope to see more updates from this developer soon           Great idea needs bug fixes
