I was hoping to sync with my Mac by paying for the pro app on my iPhone but after I downloaded pomodoro time on my Mac I couldnt sync and it told me to pay pro on Mac to sync with my iPhone Its ridiculous Why didnt you tell me that before I pay for the pro on my iPhone Why I need to pay double to sync It doesnt make sense Have no idea how to sync with my Mac
Using Pomodoro Time Pro I have completed projects that previously I would start and postpone This app helps in seeing how long a project actually takes and provides tracking reporting and the incentive to complete important tasks It is perfect for learning subjects that may at first be intimidating by allowing you to complete focused periods of study followed by periods of relaxation If you are interested in using the Pomodoro technique for learning I recommend a MOOC course on Coursera titled Learning How to Learn No matter which device you are using iPhone iPad or Mac your data is synced on all devices and always up to date Best Pomodoro App

I guess the fact that I am trying to keep it synced across an iPhone iPad watch and desktop is just way too much for this app to handle Other productivity apps like Wunderlist do it fine 99 of the time I spend so much time trying to sync and unsync on all devices thinking Im doing something wrong that I lose all focus More time spent fiddling with a productivity app rather than actually being productive obviously defeats the purpose They need to just FIX this and then itll be great FIX THE SYNC Syncing is a nightmare
I really hope they fix the syncing issues cause this is a pretty cool app Unfortunately after a day of knocking down those 25 minute work increments I finally noticed my iPhone wasnt syncing When a sync finally occurred it was to the iPhone and my days work was erased Not syncing to iMac
I love this app I use it to plan and track my studying I used the free version last year and upgraded to Pro for the MaciPhone sync Its worked really well for me so far and I highly recommend it Great for busy students
The developer must know that many of us are looking for a specific feature set in a pomodoro app especially because there are so many of them out there Thanksthis is exactly what Ive been looking for Syncing is a huge plus The developer really gets it

I used all the free versions of various Pomodoro timers I could find in the App Store Of them all I liked this the best for the simple clean interface the ability to start and stop the work and rest segments and the simple alarm controls I use it more as a timer than for a task list and I dont synch with a computer so I cannot comment on that The interface is simple and clean Best Pomodoro timer for my iPhone

Before using this app I was worried I had ADD or ADHD but now that I use it I feel so focused on the task at hand and I now do one thing at a time with full brain power The graphs and tracking of work is great and I love the fact that it works with Apple watch Changed my life
Best pomodoro apps I used easily Ive had no issues whatsoever in the few months I have been using both on MBA with Yosemite and iPhone 6 iPad mini2 and iPod touch on iOS They have been syncing faultlessly even with newly created projects down to the second and helping me a lot with freelance work Both OS X and iOS ver work great
This is never able to sync correctly between my apple watch iPhone and MacBook Completely ripped off I want my money back Poor syncing
I love this suite of apps They have just the right amount of features and customizability without being bloated UI is smooth an minimal and I like that the phone app syncs with the watch app Very helpful There are some issues with syncing between Mac and phone which others have noted and should be fixed But on its own merits Pro is worth the upgrade Breaks over Back to work Best pomodoro app

I had one other pomodoro app Promodoro This app has got more functionality to it than Promodoro I also like the aesthetics Its kind of a sleek app I use it to do stuff that Id rather not do like luandry and other time consuming things Well built app
It does what it does well but needs to allow manual adjustments of results and more detail in tracking to be more than just a timer Good basic functions

Ive done lowtech Pomodoro paper pencil timer but this is much more effective at keeping me on task I paid for Pro mostly to support the developer the free version does just as much So far the best Pomodoro app Ive used Effective Pomodoro timer
For me the whole point of a timer is to hear it at the end of a work session or break It doesnt do that Im using iPhone 6 Chime doesnt chime

Like some others have noted the alert sound doesnt play if your phone is playing anything else like Spotify Plenty of other apps have figured this out so its clearly possible My other complaint is the vaguely underhanded way the author redirects Dislike vs Like ratings from the info page of the app Choose Dislike and youre directed to an email form to the author instead of the App Store ratings page I understand wanting to have the opportunity to fix the problems that bug people but its a fairly transparent attempt to bias the ratings to the positive Oh and the mail form appeared to hang during send so Im not even sure if the author has seen my feedback No alerts during Spotify

I like its simplicity and interface However even when the volume on my iPad is all the way up and I have it set to play a sound when the time is done it doesnt play Or it plays for a while then stops working the following week Also sometimes when the pomodoro is done it skips my break I sent an email regarding this and I never got a reply unlike other app developers who reply I didnt even get a robot reply I have it on my laptop but it doesnt sync Maybe it needs wifi to be on all the time but my internet is crap Finally I have different types of tasks and I want to allot different amounts of time per task but the app only lets me to have one task So the app would be more useful if I could chose different types of tasks with different time settings Useful but not consistent
This is a really awesome app its simple yet effective Each task you complete gives you an oddly intense feeling of satisfaction you dont want to stop This is a great app for me because I am a college student with ADD and I am a procrastinator This thing helps me get stuff done The only hard part is getting the motivation to start in the first place Great tool for ADD and procrastinators
It was about 2 as I recall Its nice to have something looking over your shoulder I get more done in 25 minutes with the timer than I do in an hour without it The only reason I wont give it 5 stars is because I imagine its not good for every person However if youre like me its a wonderful app Worth the cost nice little bump at work and school

Im confused by the negative reviews that site problems with synch between the desktop Mac app and the iPhone app It works beautifully between my 12 MacBook and my iPhone 5S In the morning I create my tasks on the Mac then I use both the Mac and the iPhone to track pomodoros Its brilliant Perfect in combo with the Mac app
Helps to keep me ontrack and focused on the task at hand Normally Im all over the place with so many things to attend to This timer helps me finish a task before moving to the next one Thanks for offering it on Apps Gone Free Focused
If the sync was reliable this would be fivestars Because its not and this is why you pay for the app its only two It does look nice If the Sync Worked Reliably
I use push notifications sparingly and was disappointed when this developer decided to use them to advertise their new product Developer uses push notification for ads
Pomodoros are meant to be structured such that there is a big break after 4 consecutive pomodoros with smaller breaks between each one However the app doesnt make the timer with bigger breaks when it is supposed to Furthermore the app will sometimes turn off music when you open it to check how much time you have left and sometimes the timers will go off silently Overall this is still a decent app but its nowhere near perfect Doesnt give big breaks correctly doesnt feel the best
