Podium Timer HD

I am in a business group that requires strict adherence to time for each presentation This is a great App to set at the head of the table so that everyone can keep track as to their progress and completion The only CON is that changing time up or down requires moving to another screen Nice update would be to put this wheel on the main page Otherwise I am very pleased Thank you eNATAL              Podium Timer works

Great app with good customizations It can display time time remaining and time elapsed One thing to make it better it should make a sound when it passes zero As for now when it passes zero it shows the Overtime display              Great timer if only it makes a sound as it hits zero

I often teach and speak in community settings and having this free app to keep me on time is such a blessing It runs even when you are on other apps yeah iOS 42 and allows you to set the stylecolors you like A few others have complained about needing an alarm but I sure wouldnt want an alarm going off in the middle of my speech would you Oh yeahand its FREE                 SimpleUsefulFREE

on my last presentation this app just crashed and I was not able to check the time that I had left        You cant trust this app

Update Works great now The transitions are smooth and quick This app doesnt claim to do a lot but it is very good for what it does if you need an easytouse timer for speaking this is the one Great idea for a simple easy to use app Unfortunately its maddeningly unresponsive while timing is underway For example if I switch from time remaining to elapsed time while the clock is stopped its a very smooth transition But do the same thing while its timing and it gets hung up somewhere in between you see part of the time remaining display and part of the elapsed time It acts as if its involved in some really intensive calculations and just cant manage to update the screen in a responsive manner I might understand if it was doing some really intensive calculations but this is a trivial timer running on a third generation iPad How can it possibly be overwhelming the hardware with its computations Fix this and it will be a very useful app Asis though I cant recommend it                 Unresponsive

You can only program in 30 second increments useless for 45 sec TOEFL speaking practice Why not let us just key in our time length rather than fumble with an awkward toggle Also the clock pauses automatically when you send texts through the iPhone FAIL        So limited for the price

This app along with the iPhone app were just what I was looking for to use a timer for our speaker and band on stage at church I think it would be helpful if you listed on the app info exactly how they work together I think your info is a little vague but I bought it in hopes that it functioned as it does I really love that you can send messages to the timer on the iPad from the iPhone app Again I dont think that is clearly understandable in the app description Thanks              What I was looking for

The app is relatively easy to use and has good options eg colors ability to have the time flash during the warning period or after the time has expired In the next version I would like to have the ability to turn off the count down of the seconds as I find the constant changing of the screen distracting              Pleased

The latest version of the app leaves much to be desired in performance The idea of a remote screen controlled by an iPhone is an absolutely brilliant idea But the timer is not accurate at all In a recent debate that I timed I noticed some major lag between real time and what my iPad thought was real time What was supposed to be a twominute answer turned into three minutes before the bell sounded I dont know whats changed in this app over the past couple years but its not a change for the better 17 May 2013 original comment 2011 Combined with the iPhone app this app performed amazingly well in two major debates in Phoenix Arizona politics My iPad was the display for the moderator and five candidates to see how much time they had to speak and I was about 510 meters away controlling that from my iPhone The bell is mighty loud being heard on several TV recordings and the Bluetooth connection never failed Not once over the four combined hours of debate was there a hiccup or error Plain and simple it just worked One small feature request is to change the resolution of the alerts For the quickhit nature of debate 30 seconds is much too long Perhaps change that resolution down to 15 seconds           Two major debates no problems

This is the best timer application on the market Well designed and works great Great solutions for board rooms or tv segment timing                 Awesome timer application

I was looking for a simple but attractive app I could use when doing presentations and teaching classes Not only is this one perfect but it is free Can display countdown elapsed time or current time Settings are easy to access and use and the different display options are perfect for different environments Also like that it can link with an iPod Touch or iPhone as a remote so the iPad can be set up on display without having to be touched Thanks to the developer                 Just what I was looking for

Great application free but why is ere no alarm Add an alarm and I will give you five stars        No alarm

This could be a great app But to many steps to set and change timer it also needs the ability to display with other apps It only works in full screen If you only want a 10 inch timer great app If you need it to be super functional save your dollar     Save your buck

I like the size of the timer However as a teacher Im constantly changing the timer and this one is not easy to change or reset It takes too many steps and I dont have time to go through all the steps each time     Dont recommend

I wasnt expecting much with this app but find it pretty easy to usewell be using it as a timer for gamesbut I think itll make a good clock too for the time of day My request for the next rev is to allow me to set the timer at intervals finer than to the minute eg 30 secs 45 secs Thanks for a nice freebie for my iPad                 Cool tool
