I just started using Plickers for students to self assess I appreciate having a response system that is free and engaging However because of some limitations I didnt think it would practical to ask content based questions since I couldnt share questions with other classes etc but with 20 it looks like there will be lots of updates to make the program more user friendly Thanks                 Glad to see improvements

The cards read easily on my iphone 5 but the data and how it is displayed is still in its early stages              Great potential

This app I wonderfully efficient and effective My students loved it I wish there was a way to group questions so you can pull up a specific set of questions to ask              SweetI wish

My students and I were so excited when we tried this We were blown away However during one lesson the app froze 5 times once so bad that I had to reset my phone There are definitely some bugs to work out It would usually freeze after I scanned the room and tried to view final results           Great concept app needs some work

I had high hopes for this update but it still seems to be missing the point I dont want to have a library full of individual questions I want to either a ask a quick question or two usually displayed on the board without needing to enter the question text into Plickers which is now harder to do for each question or b I want to create an assignment with MULTIPLE questions and save that assignment into my library and then be able to see not just an item analysis of weaver hone that missed question 4 but an analysis of how many questions a student missed This app just got more inconvenient for me to use since I dont want to spend much time entering individual questions or sort through a library of old questions Let me ask quick questions or create larger quizzes to save in my library and see student results instead of just item results Keep trying guys I love the interface and the cards but the whole direction of the software should be rethought        Hmmm Worse than before

This was a great idea in theory In practice its another story The app has so many problems with it     Great concept awful app

Love the idea but it took too long to load questions and it crashed too much Would like to create questions and pull from a sorted library rather than individual questions like another reviewer had written     Slow interfacecrashes

As a teacher who has large class says this helps assess student knowledge quickly and efficiently It would definitely be a fivestar app if only they could provide individual student reports It takes a while to go to the classes and check who got what right and who got what wrong              My students called it sorcery

I learned of this app earlier today had it set up in 20 minutes for all five periods that I teach and it works amazingly well It scans cards super fast and even picks up cards that arent held perfectly by students The kids loved the addition of this new tech tool to our daily routine Gives me good instantaneous feedback that Ill use for formative assessments Now if they only added the ability to import data straight into my gradebook                 Sweeeeet

This app freezes more often than pumpkins at Thanksgiving I cant do anything on it Yes I have downloaded the new version I cant use this in my class until the freezing is thawed        Holy freeze fest

Easy set up Access to the web site is required though Scans large areas of the room easily                 Easy and Fast

Im a high school history teacher I used Plickers today in class for the first time While it did not work well on my IPhone4 preSiri ancient version it worked very well on my iPad I think it can be used as a comprehension checkexit ticket equivalent as well as for a review session before a test Also my students thought it was the coolest thing ever I would not recommend it for a graded assessment students cant go back and check their work but for review purposes it is great                 Fun and effective in the classroom

I really liked this app however on my iPad the question will only show the first line and instead of the full question Another thing I think they could improve on is to make a database separated by subject area and then have subcategories within those subjects This way teachers would be able to choose questions from the database to use instead of having to make up every question              Kids loved it

Just updated and now cant get the app to open I think this app is great and o use it in the classroom daily Hoping this can be resolved quickly                 Update trouble

I teach at a middle school with 90 poverty level so everyone doesnt have a cell phone for texting responses I love plickers I should have used a heavy weight laminate though                 Awesome

My classroom is wide not tall I would be able to scan more of my students faster if I could capture in landscape mode It would also be nice if there were a native iPad or universal binary of this app Keep up the good work Make those changes and Ill update my review              iPad and landscape mode

Well my teacher showed it to us today and I thought it was pretty dang awesome also I was thinking about downloading it on to my new iPhone 5s I got for Christmas And I did so later I will see where I can print the Plicker boards so yep I would definitely recommend this app for teachers                 Pretty Cool

It has a serious bug that prevent the app from opening on iPhone 6 Dont upgrade     Crashes upon open useless as is

Super easy to use and cost efficient I would like to see a way to share questions or to mass upload questions to the site and to consolidate reports of multiple questions Other than that this is an easy and fun to use app              My students really love it

My class just loves the instant feedback and I know exactly what direction to take my lesson from that point on It took my 8 year olds some time to learn how to hold up their sign but now they enjoy the instant recognition                 Outstanding App

I am a middle school phys Ed teacher and I love using this Just be careful and bring your phone charger drains the phones battery I teach 6 classes a day                 Love love love

My students love taking quick preassessments and postassessments in a new inventive way in our elementary music classroom They also love being able to look at the graph and see the correct answer My only complaint is that it seems that during each usage the app crashes once midscan and when I reopen the app the question we were on is now closed so the kids who hadnt been scanned yet have no data for that question That would be my one main improvement to be made              Crashing MidScan

Okay so I created a set of questions online and come to find out that they dont sync w mobile app Message says version 20 needed Dont have that as option if app is not ready     Mobile App Web

I agree with the last post Grouping questions to pull up for specific classes would be great Everything else thoughamazing My phone scanned all 23 cards in seconds and is extremely useful in deterring a students mastery of a lesson I printed laminated and plan to use this the rest of the year and for many years to come              Great app
