Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery The Official Journal of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons Description: For more than 60 years Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery has been the one consistently excellent reference for every specialist who uses plastic surgery ...
I think this app is a great idea that is poorly planned executed and programmed Downloading takes ages assuming it works at all Its much quicker to download individual articles from the journals website and import them to GoodReader than use this terrible app It crashes more than it works Nice try LWW but back to the drawing board     What a waste
Went from a buggy app that failed and crashed middownload to a buggy app that fails and crashes before any download attempt     Update fail
The V12 crashes never could download an issue     Crashes
The layout of the articles is easy to use and the app is quite visually appealing However the major limitation is that one journal was over 1 gigabyte yes gigabyte not megabyte to download that is a tremendous amount of memory for one months worth of articles I would rate it 5 stars if it didnt take 30 minutes over wifi to download one journal           Nice app but limited by download size
Same as previously written This app constantly crashes and I am unable to down load any issue The original app was buggy but at least I was able to download Going from bad to terrible     Unusable with a iPad 1
I like the idea of being able to pull up articles on my iPad so that I dont have to carry the journal with me but 1 the files are too big and take too long to download 2 the app is laggy and blurry at times and 3 the text resolution is awful and certainly does not make use of the iPad 3s retina display This is not the best magazine app out there by a long shot        Great idea but poorly implemented
I wish I could write a good review for this thing having been wishing for it for a long time A great concept but poorly implemented The biggest issue is the constant crashes within about 10 seconds of firing it up It briefly seemed to work at first but now I can try to open it 20 times in a row only to have it crash every time There is no way to reliably load or read the journal I would also echo the other reviewers complaint that the file sizes are rather ridiculous If various magazines can keep their imageheavy files to 40 MB why does this journal need over half a GB I thought maybe it might be a bug with my iPad or that my memory was getting full so tried it on another iPad 1 latest OS 501 with 46 GB free with the same results Its always possible that it runs more smoothly on iPad 2 but still its hard to view a one year old device as obsolete and Im sure many interested users have the same device Sorry ASPS and Lipincott but this app unfortunately is pretty much worthless at least for me If anyone else is experiencing the same problem Id encourage you to review as well since the publisher should know if this issue is widespread     Constant crashing
I have an IPad 1 It used to work but for some reason it crashes just by opening it even faster if I try to download an issue     Unusable
I just downloaded the app update along with the most recent issue and it worked great The issue is full of a lot of good multimedia content Love this app                 Great app with great content
Please fix this app I have deleted and reloaded many times and I have never been able to download a full issue and read it It will crash after downloading only 34 megabites of each issue     Crashes
Would love to be able to read PRS with this app But currently it wont stay running for more than 10 seconds without crashing and even when it did I never succeeded in downloading an entire issue the iPad always timed out before it finished and the download stopped My OS is up to date too This is a great idea I read Sports Illustrated with its iPad app and it is great video content etc works perfectly but the PRS app needs serious help before we can eliminate the print version     Constant crashes cant complete a download
while the journals can take up 500 MB of space you can archive after reading This is a great way to read the journal onthego I havent had any crashes while reading on an iPad2                 Convenient way to read the journal
Unusable because it crashes every time I try to open     Unusable
If it downloads is incredibly slow Terrible app especially since only downloading documents     Awful
