As a pinnacle user on my PC I was looking for a quick video editor This works and gets the job done it s just no where near as good as my power director for Android The biggest things missing are a lack of video overlays and effects This really takes away from the editing ability             Good not great Shanejj54

UPDATE Just buy Luma Fusion I ve read other saying the app is no longer supported They buy it install it and are welcomed with a video and link to Rogers on how to use it But it also states it no longer supported Shouldn t they have to disclose this in the App Store description then It s not a 0 99 app after all After some searching I ve found Luma Fusion and highly recommend it It s made by the same developers that sold pinnacle studio pro to Corel I guess the non compete contract was up so they decided to make something even way better then pinnacle studio pro ever was and continue to give it new features with updates making it even better I ve been using this app for years and its hasn t disappointed Nice to see it now one buy for both the iPad and iPhone good addition going universal But it needs an update I m getting an error on exporting in 4K something about not being compatible with my OS Hmm it s the latest iOS Content was shot also on latest iOS in 4K on iPhone 6S Video is being edited on iPad Air 2 and I know iMovie can export 4K So my guess is something with the app needs updated I also transferred the file from the phone to the iPad using airdrop Most likely others will be doing the same Please update and thanks for the continued support and features     Still works as before but problems exporting in 4K ScottD1

I haven t used this app in eight months During that time ownership has transferred to Corel and developer support has evaporated The user forums are dead In addition this app has now acquired an audio level bug I m out of here     Pinnacle Pro used to be good Clavmeister

Maybe this app was good 3 4 years ago but I can get more editing features and a better experience overall way cheaper than this This is no where near where it should be for the ridiculous price It is decent and I say about 3 is where it should be definitely not the price it is now This is a message to people who haven t bought this app yet don t waste your money this app isn t worth it and is most likely not what you are hoping for It has very few features for the insane price         No Good Myles432

I recently purchased an iPad Pro and to make a long story I was very disappointed in the abilities of iMovie Not that iMovie is bad but it didn t even come close as far as the iMacs version in terms of options With that being said Pinnacle Studio Pro looked to be the best option for me However after spending 13 for the Pro version and spent well over a half hour trying to figure the options and single layer video out I ll say I m extremely disappointed I really want to enjoy this but the options just aren t there If they can just add some layers for videos I d give this five stars It s getting two stars because not only has the app crashed a couple of times but the lack of options no layers no filters no included music etc are really hurting it         A bit upset madd_zax

Well Pinnacle Studio Pro there s a new app in town and I m sure I don t have to say the name of it All the things I ve been begging for more layers color filters even things I didn t ask for like fx are there I want to keep you on my iPad for nostalgic sake but let s be honest what s the point For this app to even be in the running again there has to be some MAJOR updates and improvements and given how I ve been completely ignored in my years of reviewing this app let s face it that s never going to happen and while we re being honest there were just too many things missing to keep me from going back to my laptop While it was somewhat fun while it lasted so long and thanks for all the fish             The party s over Strizbiz

I think the company that bought this app Lumafusion Lunafusion further developed it to sell under their own name as a premier product for 30 I don t have a problem with that but they haven t been providing any up to date information about Pinnacle There is no updated manual The only one I ve seen is from 2012 and has outdated instructions They send you to user forums that haven t been used in years and to a tutorial page with exactly one basic tutorial It does not have anywhere near the functionality to deserve to be called Pro I don t understand the rave reviews It has more bells and whistles than iMovie but pretty much the sam limited functionality     No support I just got a refund Jareditor

This is a great editor and I really love it However I wish they had support for MPEG 4 movie formats As of now I can not export my videos because of that issue I can play them on my iPad before I edit them and I can edit them in the application but when I go to export it it says I can t do it I like to record video games and I can only export my videos from my capture card in that MPEG 4 format Please fix this and I will give 5 stars         Support for MPEG 4 MisureJon

For fraction of the cost of computer based video editors such as Movavi CybrtLink and Filmora the Pinnacle Pro has most of their capabilities The learning curve was shallow for my creating a first video for my Facebook page and looked wonderful Yes there is a wish list more transitions more fonts and another video track for example BUT for the price it is a Good Value                 Great Value and Very Capable AvianoSaint

I like the storyboard and transitions but 1 this app doesn t have some basic functions that other apps have and 2 usability could be better A few examples You cannot set the aspect ratio or produce portrait and square video You cannot flip video or rotate it freehand with two fingers You can only rotate 90 There is no reverse video function Some functions require 2 or even 3 taps to access instead of being clearly identified and accessible on screen Import selection uses only a small amount of the screen instead of fullscreen The small import area on the iPad does not go away while editing There is no zoom only function Instead you must select pan and zoom then double tap the video or photo set a starting position and then copy start position to end position so that it prevents panning Note I recommend watching all the tutorials before trying to use this app         Frustrated by limitations and usability SeriouslyDave

I downloaded this app SPECIFICALLY so I could use it to put together some slo mo vids I shot on my iPhone 6s but when I put them on there they don t play in slo mo then when I saved the video it didn t play in slo mo either This app is 13 which is expensive for a app so why is their no slo mo support             No Slo Mo support billy duf boy

Great new addition with the Fullscreen overlay template It s fantastic that this editor has a real timeline two view trimmer and audio mixing I especially like the storyboard and timeline view where I can quickly layout a project in the storyboard then use the timeline to refine my edits I wish it had a true 2nd track but you can do almost anything you could do with a second track use overlays on clips to create PIPs overlay titles etc I really like the new audio features and especially the ability to export audio only                     A great professional video editor plasmaguy

Pinnacle Studio Pro is quirky and it tends to crash quite a bit when doing a larger video possibly a memory issue aside from that it has some very nice features that I have not found in other video editing apps You can use Ken Burns effects for both video and photos and I like that unlike iMovie you can place and entire photo in frame even if the aspect ratio does not match instead of being forced to fill the entire frame The ability to trim video frame by frame is a big plus for me It allows me to create very accurate cut scenes and crossovers The multitrack audio is nice but there appear to be limited options for mixing and audio cross fades Overall this is the most feature rich video editor I have used on the iPad                 Quirky but it does a better job than most MADrewry

I ve been using this since it was Avid studio and it s still my favorite editor It s the only iPad editor that even comes close to an app with professional features It seems like the developers are going to build some great features into it moving forward including multi layer options Looking forward to seeing what they can add for an iPad Pro version                     Fantastic Editor 0r3
