Ive been using this program for about a month now and I really like it Looking forward to the website coming up and I think that will round it out The learning curve was quick and once you have your gear selections set up using it for individual images allows for quick data entry I like the combination of voice and text notes and I really like the conversions Exposure settings are spot on with my readings and provides a quick double check of my information when Im a little confused often and just makes for a quicker and more efficient recording of the set up So far its allowed to me to be more confident in my exposure choices GPS works well and is useful but Ive found that I turn off GPS in the phone unless I really want to mark a particular spot I have used the GPS in the program while out scouting and it allowed me to get back to where I wanted The sensor has been helpful in windy situations to let me know if I can get away with the lens choice I tested the sensor on a day where the wind picked up and noted the sensor went red The developed negative shows the vibration and now I know why where I might have wondered when viewing the negative The notes with the particular image allow me to know the sensor went red and help my ability to depend on memory alone All in all I really like the program and Im happy with it Well worth the nominal cost                 Well Worth Purchasing

Weve long needed something like this for serious photography ability to deal with Zone System placement and development issues a way to take notes on exposure data while in the field etc The only addition they say it is in the works is an easy way to download the individual and shoot info into something which can be stored and accessed more easily With that this is a absolutely a 5star app Kudos to the authors for providing exactly what large format shooters can really use                 Great app for medium and large format photographers

Took me a while to figure out and still working on it Gave it a 4 star for two reasons Voice notes you can only record one per project if you forget and start recording again it deletes the previous one The other reason is the notes the keyboard gets in the way and you cant write more than a few lines before it hides behind the keyboard Other than that its a very useful app              Great app

Set up all my cameras lenses and films Interface is kind of klunky having to make a trip and session and all that Not needed in my opinion Made a trip made a session selected a camera as soon as I tried to select a lens it crashed Unless this app is fixed I want my money back Please advise if it will be updated or not     Doesnt work on iOS6 iPhone 5

I previously gave this app 1 star and a negative review because of critical bugs After contacting the author and discovering that his programmer had quit I offered to pitch in to help since Im also a photographer and a developer The result is this bug fix release which I pumped out as quickly as I could given my day job I am now working on a version that will be compatible with the iPhone 5 as well as making some Interface usability improvements I will only rate this as 4 stars now until I finish that Maybe it is unorthodox for the developer to chime in here but I was a customer first and I really want this to be a great tool for those of us still committed to film and large format photography I hope you enjoy the repairs and stay tuned for another update within the next few weeks              Bugs are fixed

This is an incredibly useful app and the only one of its kind I wish the gear bag worked              Please Update

Thus far this app is one of the best in my photographer toolkit I shoot with large and medium format cameras regularly in three countries and this app helps me easily keep track of each session and image Separating entries by trips and sessions gives me the flexibility to organize the information the way I like to have it I have about ten cameras with which I work and 30 or so lenses and filters Arranging all my gear in a pickandchoose selection takes a while to enter but once thats done its only a matter of touching the screen to select which camera lens and film and which holder and which side I am using at the moment Its great to have another level but the vibration sensor is a sine qua non for those working with large format cameras in the field That feature alone makes this app worth the price The note taker feature is another element which Ive longed for after a long trek and a shooting session my handwriting leaves a bit to be desired Entering everything into one device frees me from lugging around extra equipment every gram counts I have my iPhone with me anyway so this takes about 500 grams off of my load This is most definitely a valuable app and I have yet to use all of the features I cannot praise the developers for truly making my life under the dark cloth much easier                 A perfect app for large format photographers

I have been using this app for over two years and Love it Dragging a big view camera into the hot Florida wilds or city scapes is hard enough but then taking notes calculating the many zones noticing the vibration and keeping a geolog of the position of the camera can become tedious but with this great app I can do it with one thumb and send the info back to my computer for later review I always use the vibration sensor take a shot of the cameras view to match with the film and another standing back with the camera in the view Of course having all my gear in its database makes for quick data input The data I have built up by correctly logging the zones shake lens aperture speeds and before exposure knowing how the wind or other environment is doing to the stability of the setup gives me greater confidence before I burn through a lot of expensive film Its a must have for the medium large and ultra large format camera user Photo Tools is the one app I use every time I shoot film                 Large Format Photography

The newest update knocks out all the bugs that made the app unusable So it works again The program is good The UI is cumbersome but it works You crate trips aka projects and then locations within projects and then shots The shot records are simple and easy to enter with all the basic info needed plus notes Enter the meter readings for zone 3 and zone 7 and it records the N value You can add notes and lens etc Great around developing time Now that its fixed Im using it daily                 Works again good too pricy
