Pen HD - take notes, keep sketches and draw pictures

I use this app to record my Bible Reading one for each book of the Bible I write down the scriptures that particularly interest me et al Today I am using it for my states child visitation standards I wish it offered more handwriting fonts in regular text but I am happy happy happy Oh and I like the different formats Thanks              I like it

I like the new version but the writing function is very difficult now It needs to go back to what it was before     Please bring back older version

One of the great app it has a full set of highlighter pens to work I can import picture from my album and adjust the size awesome                 Note Taking app

App crashes when opened Extremely disappointing     Doesnt work

Worst upgrade in history Cant even write and app closes randomlyold app was beast Now its a piece of     WHAT A DOWNGRADE

Taking note with this app is better every single tool is in place to make it happen                 TopNote is genius

If I leave a note for any reason be it to check class notes read another note IN the app or look something up etc I have to close the app before I can continue taking notes If I try to return to the note not only will it appear blank it also will not save any additional notes added I have to close the app completely and only open the specific note I want to edit Otherwise it causes a lot of problems Its especially frustrating that the home button if right next to the undo button I am forever accidentally pressing the home button when I meant to undo something and therefore am forced to close the app before i can continue Its really frustrating Please move the undo redo buttons to the main button bar As far as the note taking goes I love it but I do also wish it was easier to access the additional colors Looking forward to future improvements we can only go up from here           Great for notes but needs improvement

This app was fine until I updated it It keeps crashing upon opening and now Ive no access to my documents Ive midterms in a week and this is a huge inconvenience Not to mention Ive email the support team THREE times and still no response So much for the response within minutes Please help     HELP

I love this app for annotating PDFs I am a college student and didnt do a lot with them just highlighting and some simple notes But with the new update the undo button is gone I might have to look for a different app           Please return the undo button

A good app does the job They need to fix the back button because when I click on it it goes back it deletes everything or many things that I did and didnt want deleted Today I went back to check on my work that I did yesterday and I dont know what happened but it deleted ALL of my work and they dont have a recovery or redo button Which means I not only have to redo all of my work but remember what I wrote down for notes They really need to fix this and make it better Also if we can bring in files from our gmail we should be able to share other files to our gmail              Great but Really needs work

It works as advertised and it is easier to use than other apps Ive tried to use              I like this app very much

Upgraded to be able to fill out PDF forms Exported forms show up blank Wasted 499     Waste of money

What happened You got rid of the UNDO button Why the heck would you do that Who actually thought that was a good idea And why do the strokes become like gibberish after I write something Did you even test this update before you published it People use this app to highlight readings and take notes in the margins Please go back to the way it was before otherwise Im going to have to delete this app and look for a better one to do my daily readings on     Please revert to old version

The new update which is supposed to debug issues has only created more problems I frequently edit PDFs eg lecture notes with hand written notes but no longer Not only is the pen tool too thick to write a legible note but the app crashes each time I try to make a comment on a PDF     Please debug new update

Such a basic feature is missing and it makes all the difference in the world I liked the sticky notes and the straight lines on the highlighter but Im afraid I waisted my money I spent more on Note Taker HD and although the interface takes getting used to it is hands down the best app I have found for marking up PDFs and taking notes Sorry Let me know when you get an eraser and Ill reinstall your app        Really No Eraser

Ive used this for school now for 2 semesters I take notes on the PDFs that my teachers give It would be nice to type things in on the free version but then why would anyone buy the actual version Good app and very useful Download it now if you want to drawwrite on your PDFs              Good app

I love this app It helps me take my college notes without carrying a lot of notebooks I also like to use it while planning things out The only thing Im having trouble with is being able to delete something I dont want anymore And when I have something locked trying to change it to not being locked anymore Minor things that would make this app even better But overall great              Love it but need some bugs fixed

I upgraded to the paid version because it mentioned syncing with Dropbox It doesnt actually syncrather you must manually upload to Dropbox        Doesnt sync

I love this app I use it every week and dont know how I would get all my studying done without it                 Love it

UPDATE pdf problem has been fixed can type notes on pdf documents now inapp purchase so that I could type notes on a pdf document Not only did the app crash whenever i tried to use this feature but when i tried to send feedback the mail window got stuck onscreen and now i cant use the app at all Would give it zero stars if i could not worth 499              UPDATED App crashes when i try to use purchased feature

With the new update making handwritten notes is next to impossible You have to make large sweeping motions to get anything written What happened to the old handwriting tool It worked perfectly Please change it back                 What Happened

I am a medical student and this app was so incredibly wonderful for annotating long lectures After the update yesterday the undo function was disabled and I am unable to write properly Once you do make something that is somewhat legible it appears almost calligraphic I just want something that will write something down exactly the way that I write it down The app is now much slower too I am so angry I paid good money and this app is now TERRIBLE     This app used to be my savior After the update TERRIBLE

I really like the palm guard which most note taking apps ignore or make really weird However it is limited until you buy pro which I really dont like It definitely could use some work but I like the interface well enough and the PDF editor is handy though limited as well              Pretty helpful but limited

It was an awesome until the second to last update It improved with the last one but now it wipes out the highlights and notes from last pages        Why

I really wanted the updates to fix my crashing issue every time and I do mean every time i go to annotate a pdf for my classes it kicks me back to my iPad home screen I feel bad that I had to write this as I really really wanted to like this program because of what it would allow me to do in class        even with new update still crashing

I would much rather write or doodle on my iPad than paper this is a fantastic app                 Great app

This is an amazing app for doodling taking notes and most impressively annotating documents The one thing that this app is missing is a good system for sensing your wrist If you write with your wrist on the screen most comfortable the app gets confused what is your own and what is your wrist and can end up scribbling everywhere Just need to fix one thing Other than that great app              Great app BUT

I use this app to take notes in class and now the writing style in the PDF annotator is impossible to use You have to write everything very large and flowy which is horrible for writing on documents with small text Also the undo button no longer functions meaning you have to erase the whole section of writing in order to correct one mistake        Terrible for PDFs

app completely useless after update crashes force closes after any attempted annotating to any and all PDFs no more undo button no customer support response after reaching out with these concerns honestly I just wish I could get my money back to buy a new app dont waste your time     useless after update

I use this all the time to annotate pdf files New pen is horrible It is impossible to write with Works more like a paint brush and less like a pen And is really slow     Bring back the old PDF annotation pen

Fixing the crash bug would help the work flow Getting kicked out of the app and having to navigate back to where you were working can be troublesome but of course not impossible The inclusion of figures eg squares circles etc would be so advantageous Everyone is not good at drawing little figures as you were able to do in your example notes Thanks for listening to the reviews           Very useful app And with updates soon to be great

This app would have gotten a higher rating if it didnt crash so often The crashing wouldnt bother me so much if all my work was save after the crash           Crashes way too much

I loved this app serious I have been using it to write and highlight in my iPad for about a month now All of a sudden out of no where the highlights just keep deleting them selves I took a bunch of notes last night and now today I am not able to highlight them VERY FRUSTRATING as I have a group assignment today and just all of a sudden it stops working There hasnt been a big fix since Marchcan someone from Proxy please come read these and making some updates a new iOS has been released COME ON GUYS           highlighting option limited

I used to love this app I could write in notebooks and work on PDFs Now my covers to the notebooks is gone it works slower It has been crashing I need to find some place else to save my PDFs so that I dont lose them if there is a major crash Bring back the covers and notebook choices        TopNotes

At first it was totally awesome But this weekend Ive been taking notes at a very important event and all weekend it has been taking all my notes from any one page of the editable PDF Ive been working in and moving them to any one other page One of my pages now has 6 pages of notes layered on top of each other completely illegible Im very upset with this since I spent 2 weeks prior to this event testing the app to be sure I would have no issues with my notes and would be able to review them afterward While were at it why doesnt it have a eraser Really That would make life so much easier Also the wrist detection isnt working at all This app is easy to use I love the chisel tip pen and highlighter options but I mainly need to be able to trust that my notes will be there when I go back to review them and I cant        Bugs

Could you add this feature please I have tons of files on my computer that I want in this app but I have to manually import all of them one at a time Could you make it possible so I can add the files to the app through the file sharing in iTunes This can be only for pro version so that people cant export files through iTunes Could you also add folders within folders option Thanks                 File sharing through iTunes

This new update needs fixing It keeps crashing anytime you put in an annotation such as highlighting Very sad it was working really good earlier on I lowered my rating because of this issue Fix it and I will update my rating Please fix it           App for this new update keeps crashing

Beautiful notes but keeps crashing and deleting notes So sad    

This app is worthless I used to be able to type hence annotation app into pdfs on the old version Now I cannot edit my notes nor can I send my old notes to my email or anywhere else without paying for the pro version Thanks for ruining all my work If you thought that this would force me to pay for the pro version please know I would rather light my money on fire and watch it burn than give it to you     Dont Get This App

Many of us search for an app that will allow us to annotate PDFs smoothly quickly enjoyably and dependably TopNotes meetsalthough does not exceedthese expectations EXCEPT dependably As others have indicated the app remains buggy transposing annotations to incorrect pages sometimes not saving annotations and sometimes simply loses annotations when exporting to email drop box and to other apps With so many other stronger apps available unfortunately I suggest to avoid at least currently TopNotes        Not Yet Ready

I initially like this app to take notes I used it to insert photos on a page and annotate them I am now trying to switch the notes to a new iPad You have to buy the full app or inapp purchases to do that No email no iTunes backup nothing I cannot even select the existing images on the page to copy them over to photos The current reviews on the full app suggest that it crashes too often Good that I know how to snap screenshots from the iPad to at least recover the five pages as images Too bad I lost out        You cannot transfer files out
