Story is fine but when you are reading by yourself not having it read to you it insists on interrupting you to randomly announce things which completely breaks the rhythm There is no way to turn it off        Bad experience

Fixed the no sound by putting the rotation option on settings as mute and putting the lock on the unlock positionwhy I have to do that is still annoying but I only do it for the lorax and 1 fish 2 fish Great conceptmy 3 year old loves it                 Excellent

This is a great integration of technology with the simple pleasure of reading to your children I only use the read it myself feature I love how it has subtle background sounds fitting to the context and how it zooms in and out of the original Dr Seuss illustrated pages It feels like an animated version of the book to my voice My 2 year old twins LOVE it                 Interactive reading on the go

My son enjoys the ability to have the choice in how he interacts with the story Great user interface Its a Dr Seuss storynothing else needs to be said                 4 year old enjoys it immensely

The book itself of course is fantastic The narrator though is lacking Perhaps its because I know this book so well but she really doesnt seem to put much feeling into the reading However the kids love it and thats really what matters              Narrator could be better

Great interactive book Helps with word recognition by saying and showing a written word when child taps on the subject fish on a picture of a fish etc also there are many words that a child can expose himself to by tapping different parts of an illustration                 Would recommend narration is a little slow

App is fine but I find the female voice reading the story to be remarkably unSeussian Somehow the voice is wrong for the material it should be a little quirky and irreverent Instead it sounds like an overlypolite customer service rep           Voice is distracting and unSeussian

I like the reading options in the beginning and that all it takes is a touch for my son to figure out what something is Also I was surprised by the length I started it on the read to me mode and it seems like it was reading for a while unlike the other audible books that cost more                 Great App

I never read this book but bought the cat in the hat and green eggs apps and liked them I could take a flier on a buck with this one too but found it just wasnt as good For one if you want a book that from page to page links themselves then this isnt the book for you Granted I understand Dr Seuss is about fun and rhymes but the other books have story and meaning like the going places one that I also bought But this one could be like one page is about a bug that is on a rug and the next page or even next paragraph is like a bird that is chewing on a curd Just silliness and thats it The other issue I have is the narrator Not to be offensive but the speaker could be a kid at the local library I might be just as good or bad but the other narrators of the other books really sold the story to me Lots of emphasis and passion Maybe my second go around will be better Also this is a very very long book in comparison to the others maybe its just because I didnt like it as much        Just okay

I wish it had a speed setting my kids and I find it is too slow as every picture and page zooms out for every sentence It looks great but I find myself using the paper book because of the tempo           Too slow
