Oh, the Thinks You Can Think! - Dr. Seuss

With the new update the read it myself feature doesnt work as it did in the last version Every time I swipe to want to read to the next linepage it doesnt continue at my pace but the pace as though you chose the read to me feature I read a little faster than the app and therefore doesnt move to the next line when I swipe the page Its giving waaay too much time to think Im glad I didnt update this app on my kids iPad This doesnt help me when Im trying to read to my kids class tapping swiping like crazy trying to move to the next line while the kids wait for me to move on I like this story in particular I liked it when I read you can think about yellow I swipe and the yellow shows up Then read or think about blue And swipe and then the blue shows up Now when I read you can think about yellow Swipenothingtap question markseventually the yellow shows up It seems to get especially stuck waiting for the horse after the line or you can think up a horse All the tapping and swiping wont make that horse appear Ugh I quit trying after that           Dont like the latest update

Really liked the book 3 year old and 5 year old were very entertained and so was I 399 is still hard to swallow wish they were a buck Id buy every kid book around                 Good Book

Please add the recording your own voice feature This is my sons favorite book He loves when I read it to him so I downloaded this hoping I would be able to record my voice I was disappointed seeing there was no option There wasnt a lite version to test drive either but I thought it would be like The Cat The Hat book which does have the feature Please add this Also can you speed up the appearance of the words on the pages I read faster than the recorded reader and it takes forever for the words to appear So long in fact that my son loses interest in it Please fix these issuesPLEASEEEEE     Umm

This one and all the other Dr Seuss books are the best childrens apps on the iPad                 Awesome

Love how the pieces gradually appear Makes you think them before you actually see them Great concept                 Nice

The book is fantastic but clearly the developer is trying to make it more than an ebook Unfortunately this results in the fact that there ten times as many page turns as the previous Oceanhouse books You basically have to swipe for every single line and sometimes twice for a single line It horribly interrupts the genius rhythm of Seusss beautiful poetry as you wait for the pictures to move across the screen It is annoying and unnecessary I realize that the developers of this app are trying to do something with these books or to take it to the next level the way theyve gone about it just doesnt work The other Oceanhouse Seuss books are some of the best iPad apps out there but I recommend avoiding this one        Great book terrible implementation

This is our 11th Dr Seuss book by Oceanhouse All the rest are great This is the only one where you have have to tap or swipe for each sentence to appear And if you swipe too many times trying to get the whole page to appear you can accidentally swipe past the page But when you swipe back to go back a page you have to start over and watch all the slow transitions AGAIN None of the other books they make do it this way They really need to fix this     Horrible execution

This is our twelfth Seuss book app and our first disappointment The words appear too chopped up so it seems like were swiping and waiting for the next words the entire time Would love to see that fixed via better grouping in an update The other eleven All fivestars for sure And STILL cant wait for The Sleep Book app     Disappointed

I know this is for my three year old but this is my 2nd favorite to Green Egg and Ham I love books that push the imagination and THIS ONE does it wonderfully                 This One

The Dr Suess books gave gotten increasingly difficult to use with time Turning pages shouldnt be a challenge No I should not have to wait until the app says I can turn the page in read myself mode of course This book is now completely useless I will not be buying any more books from this developer Also I should not have intrusive reminders how to do things One time is fine but allow me to turn this off permanently     DO NOT BUY

I always enjoyed this book and was excited to see this app I instantly got it to read with my daughter However I am wishing it was possible to return it Annoying narrator and weak interaction bummed me out There are some great interactive kids books out there is one falls short     Not a fan of such a great book

I wish I had read the one review before buying this book Not only is it impossible to turn the pages but the developer tried to be fancy As such each turn brings in a new graphic so it takes four turns to get through one page I just want to read the darn book to my son After four pages and 15 minutes I closed the app went to the real bookshelf and read the hard back Hopefully they fix this and just make it normal     Do Not Buy
