The OECD Factbook App presents 100 economic indicators in a format specially designed for your iPhone. Now, wherever you are, you have easy access to a comprehensive statistical picture of the world s major ...
Useful informative and well designed However it hasn t been updated in years that s OK as far as the data goes because 2011 isn t that old But the app was designed for the original iPhones with their 3 5 screens That means it doesn t take advantage of the larger taller screens and shows the status bar wifi time battery much lower down So it needs updating to the Big Screen Even as to the data getting 2015 16 data would be good They have a new version out titled simply OECD Data It knows about the bigger devices and their larger screens and even has some 2012 data why not more recent However it will NOT scroll down on an iPod Touch meaning you cannot see any countries after Estonia Nor any topic beyond labor It also seems to require being on line the original included all the data with the app so that you could use it offline Correction it seems to have the data it s just that it is very s l o w to show it You get a large spinning wheel each time you try to look at a specific indicator Very poor So still waiting for a fully functional update             Great app but A SOLUTION Sort of AstroPaul
The master OECD database of major country level indicators They occasionally do make data updates it seems Wish they had easy direct links to the hard dataset on their site and email forwarding options                 Good fingertip app on OECD countries UnitedWarelines
This is not a good refrence at all Where did they get their data from     Garbage Buck and Bella
Good that there is already The 2010 version It is needed now The HQ version for The iPad                     Good update needed in HQ Used to celsius
in quality of life indicators population data migration etc Each year the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development OECD publishes these indicators Most of the data in this app is from 2007 Some data dates back to 2005 If you want the most up to date data available a link on each page will take you to the OECD website However 2009 data is not free and in some instances can be quite costly So if you don t mind having slightly out of date data but right at your fingertips then this free app is a real bargain If you ve never seen this info before I really ask that people take a look because some of the information might surprise you For instance if you think childhood obesity is a problem in the US you would be right But which country is first in childhood obesity Which ranks lowest Which countries report the highest quality of life stats and again which are lowest Fascinating information and well worth taking a few minutes to peruse If you don t like it simply delete it But try it first             A handy app to have for those interested Tboomer
What a great idea Makes an excellent reference for a history lesson Now to become a useful business tool it needs the latest data portrayed and contrasted in a variety of ways Kudos to the OECD                 Excellent data source but RainbowZebra
