This app has a good interface easy and very Mac like I would like to see the lead in words of the verse when I go to search or history etc to make it easier for me to select the verse I am looking for I do recommend this app it also is easy to customize to your preferences Easy to learn

This morning the app wont open Crashes every time I deleted and reloaded it and same thing happens App crashes when I try to open

The NRSV is the standard version for preaching and teaching in many churches including the one I serve This app is searchable by text or by keyword so no matter which approach you need youll find what youre looking for Great Study Tool

Simple navigation makes this app very easy to use Ive never read the Bible as much as I do now that I have this app It makes it much more accessible The color scheme is easy on the eyes and makes the text very readable Very easy to use

I dont need to rewrite what others have already written about the recent buggy behavior of the app May point out my two favs though I have worked with software developers before and know they are watching these posts and will fix as soon as possible Its possible that prepping for the release of iOS8 may be involved here I have several Bible Study apps on my iDevices and this is still my primary goto app Its sure making me laugh a lot now though Loving the half moon cut out in highlights and the text selection magnifier that wants to stay and watch me D I look forward to many more years of amazing bible study with this app Whenever you can guysLove In Christ Still The Most AwesomeJust Needs Fixing Guys

Yep Im not the only one Literally crashes the second I open it now EVERY TIME I had notes and highlighting in almost every chapter and now Im gonna have to delete it all Hey Olive Tree this is like making someone throw away their favorite Bible that theyve had for years for a new one Crash

I know its not cheap If however you are searching for the NRSV with a very accurate search engine for you iPhone or iPadthis is it Ive had it for over 6 months and have no problems They frequently have sales on other translations I bought the ESV for halfprice the interface is great and it is user friendly The end of your search

I am constantly amazed and pleased by this Bible App I originally downloaded the NRSV version app because that is the version read aloud at my church and most used in mainline denominations But I have since downloaded other versions ESV NIV KJV HCSB as well as several commentaries and study bible notes What is great is that you can pick whichever version you prefer and then match it up with any study bible notes you prefer For example the Reformation Study Bible is only available in the ESV in printbut with this app I can use the Reformation Study Bible with the NRSV or any other version Its an amazing tool All of this plus many different reading plans and other books Bible apps etcthe possibilities are endless THE Bible App everyone should have

Dont buy it the latest improvement will not open Ditto for The Message NSRV Bible

I use this app a lot its great for searching although limiting and expanding the search range has sometimes been a challenge What I dont understand is why it normally opens at the book of John Although I know there are those who prefer John why not open at the book that starts the teachings of Jesusthe book of Matthew Unfortunately this seems to be part of a contemporary trend of minimizing or ignoring these teachings Change the Starting Point

I am a seminary student and use this app all the time The ability to switch between Bible translations with a couple of taps is invaluable and the seamless integration between Bibles dictionaries commentaries and maps makes research and exegesis much easier I recommend this app without reservation THIS IS A GREAT APP

I cant even open the app any more with this new version I love the app and use it often It is very user friendly unless you cant even open it I tried all of the suggestions to open the app when it crashes on startup from the olive tree help site and still nothing I have an iPhone 6 with updated software Help and fix the app please so I can use it again Now I know not to update it on my iPad Crashes on Startup Every Time

My use of this app has been modest but it has always performed the way its supposed to Only improvements I can think of would be to add ability to see different versions of a particular passage on the fly Quick reliable access to scriptures

I love having my favorite translation of the Bible with me at all times I also like that it is easy to navigate and find scriptures and verses when I need them Thank you Wonderful Resource

Takes too long to load all I really want is the NRSV dont need all the bells and whistles Clunky

I use the app for daily Bible Study Since the upgrade it is much slower to highlight passages Another thing I would love to see is the Episcopal Daily Office from the Lectionary so I could do my daily readings without having to look them up elsewhere Love the app but the upgrade runs much slower

Too many crashes I cant even open the app I spent about 50 dollars and I think you guys should do a much better job than this Crashes
