Niko and the Sword of Light

I really enjoyed this beginning I have to agree with some others though the page flip gimmick is a pain This is an iPad not a paper book lets ditch the pseudo stuff On at least 45 pages I tapped to begin the drag only to have to sit and watch that panel repeat              Excellent beginning

Loved this App Throughly done in every area from story art and design                 One of the Very Best of its Kind

My brother and I loved the story and the moving comics I thought it was worth the 399 but my little brother was very upset the story didnt go longer He likes longer stories              Only sad there wasnt more

My daughter and I immensely enjoyed Niko As others wrote the animation style is is very very well executed Beautiful to the eyes and easy to navigate based on the version we had Only wish is that the chapters would have been more clearly marked as we speeded right through it all and didnt realize we were at the very end until the credits started to roll Hopefully there will be more installments in the Niko universe Love it                 Love Niko

As a comic book enthusiast Ive been waiting to see how a comic with motion and audio would be completed This is a worthwhile result Art and animation are exceptional Voice acting and sound effects are above average Music is interesting Story is merely average I can definite recommend this app to comic book fans I will look for more stories like this and Im expecting to see more publishers follow suit              Impressive

Too dark for my kids but Id you like Tim Burton Type characters this is your kind of storybook I bought the whole story and it was very engrossing Very visual but lacks the kid friendly theme I endorse for my little ones I may hold off for a bit for them but I can see a bright future for interactive stories              Dazzling visuals stunning story telling capability

Topnotch animation and an engaging pleasant interface Wellaboveaverage voice acting too Unfortunately the story is hackneyed boring cheesy and in general poorly written An embarrassment to have such a piece of trash story at the heart of an otherwise sellexecuted app I cam only assume the high production values obscure the poor narrative and writing no other way to account for the mostly positive reviews Of course thats a formula thats worked for Hollywood blockbuster glitz and dont pay for a decent writer It seems to be working here too but for those who appreciate good fiction in any media please give this one a miss        Well executed terrible story

Great story but for 399 I need more content I want the story to continue              Hmm

While the story may be simple the presentation is not It takes the idea of a motion comic to a whole other level by presenting the panels as animated scenes It still very much retains its book feel but with art that literately jumps from the page with how it is presented If you like Zelda Wind Waker etc and works by Miyazaki you should find lots to like here as the lively art and abstract world feels like something inspired by those worlds of creativity Throw in some fun energy and child like imagination and you have an idea of the world and characters that fill this book Looking forward to more work from Imaginism Studios                 Pixar changed the world of animation Imaginism looks to do the same with comics
