Please stop using push notifications to tease stories that you are running later on your broadcast Its invasive and annoying and there are many other Tulsa news outlets that I can depend on if this continues If the BA is shut down I wanna know about it If hours from now you are running a story on aggressive panhandlers thats not worthy of pushing an alert to the people who depend on you and your app for important news items that they would have otherwise missed Its exploiting a captive audience for your own gain and its not what I would expect from KOTV Youre better than that Tonight at 10 is NOT breaking news

I also like the actual pictures with the stories unlike other local news apps that just used canned or stock photos i would like a National News category And whats up with the fancy recipes with 20 ingredients that no one would ever prepare Spatchcock Turkey and Vietnamese Duck Soup Yuck I like the pics and flip through news

I have loved this app until now It keeps closing almost every time I open it Ive even deleted the app and reinstalled it to no avail I dont know whats going on Im not happy KOTV app
I have used this app successfully for years but suddenly it quit working properly I cannot from right to left if I open an article it cannot be closed and I have to exit the app It is very nonfunctional Very frustrating as I prefer the news from channel 6 to the news on channel 8 but at least the channel 8 app works Quit working properly
The older app was easier to navigate and find information I will not use this app as much as the older version New app is a step backward

The ads are horribly intrusive and you rewrote an app just so you could put them in and now it crashes Thats greedy and you are driving people away from using your app I dont care about the weather map Swiping is too difficult so it rubber bands right back to the same story Cant swipe at all on the weather map Total junk ads make this app unusable You should be ashamed that you cant write an app in 2015 without it crashing Ads make content unidentifiable Too much Too greedy

Not as easy to navigate as old app The different categories of videos and stories in the menu do not pull the information theyre supposed to For example pulling up weather videos pulls up videos from six months ago totally unrelated to weather instead of the most recent forecast like it should I have also seen videos meant for Oklahoma City instead of Tulsa Really should have tested this a lot more before replacing an app that was working well Lots of problems
Every time I want to get any stories on video it crashes and sporadically shuts down towards the end of the story Getting really tired of this I would also like to see the radar on the weather updated It never shows real time I have pulled up other apps and it shows rain but when I look on this one its not always there never know what to think A daily weather update would be nice if there is one on there its always from the day before Crashes

I love this app Channel 6 is my favorite news channel This app gives me current local news and weather They update the news often which is great I love the live radar too I havent had any problems with crashing either Love it Must have Awesome app
The previous app was great This one has side scrolling and pictures Its possibly modeled after a coloring book I expect the next app to be a flip book Yay pictures
What the hey Ch 6 The app worked great up until a week ago and now I am having all kinds of trouble You cant scroll from right to left anymore the article freezes when you open it you cannot exit out of the article through the x in the upper right hand corner the only way you can exit an article now is the little arrow in the upper left hand corner of the screen and I have to close out an article several times and then tap and wait for the article to scroll up Hope the app developers are reading this I guess Ill download another local news app until you fix it because using this is far too frustrating for me App isnt working

Just downloaded the so called fixes for os8 for my iPad and now the app is completely nonfunctional Took several weeks for them to release the fixes You would think someone would check functionality before the update is released Thumbtack

Always on top of the latest Tulsa area news and weather Instead of just a line or two about a story they give details and give a storys history The big plus is in times of breaking news or weather they live stream from the app with a live newscast or weathercast They send you alerts They have videos and the best meteorologists on the eastern side of Oklahoma Highly recommend Best news app in Tulsa area hands down

I no longer live in Tulsa and like to know whats going on Your app was the best by a long shot current and easy to read Now its too much work Have to sweep up and down and left and right Too much minutia on the front page I liked the bulleted format much better Best news app in Tulsa but it got worse
The only reason this app gets even 1 star from me is because I can usually read one story and sometimes if Im lucky 2 before it crashes The redesign is just a pain and if you really do want to read the local news you might want to look elsewhere I am a long time user of the news on 6 app and truly miss the way it use to be before the change because it ran for more than a few minutes without crashing I even waited for some time to see if they would fix the app before writing a critical review Fix the crashing its more important than being pretty Latest design ruined the app

This is a twin to another app Oklahoma News 9 They upgraded it to a terrible awful app and were flooded with many 1star reviews about how disastrous it had become Many of us ditched it and replaced it with this app instead because it had not been similarly defaced For a month Now a new upgrade replicates everything that nobody liked about their previous app Obviously the company doesnt care about nearunanimous user feedback Uninstall Did you learn NOTHING from our reviews

All of the intrusive often disgusting ads have made this app very unappealing and I will be using a different local news app from now on Upgrade

How to ruin an app by Griffin Communication first you take the news then the weather and sports and shake them up in a Yahtzee Cup and you get the new app Thanks for setting the bar so low whoever thought this was an improvement should be shaking in their shoes waiting to be escorted out of your building So I will wait for an update to appear in the App Store until then I will plug my nose and get my news updates from Fox 23 The new app is terrible

I just downloaded the update for the NewsOn6 and I have to say it is a MUCH better iPhone app Especially the weather portionthe radar is better and the overall appearance is higher quality Good job Much Better App
