It weighs in at only 2.0 MB to download. The new Names for RPG app version 1.32 has been updated on 2014-11-20. This is a great app but has two serious issues 1 The name history isn t persistent across sessions 2 The ads need a way to shut off I d be happy to give the author an in app purchase to disable them Many of the ads auto leave the app to purchase something in the ad either from the App Store or a web browser making the app unusable because as soon as it launches it exits to the App Store or Safari Either less invasive ads or money to the author would be greatly appreciated         Ads are urber annoying @urbananimal

I had this app but could not even functionally use it Almost everywhere on the screen that you touch is an external link to another app or something The ads are literally everywhere You can t even generate a name without being redirected to the App Store 3 times for some advertised app Worthless and a waste of time     Ads everywhere TheCaptainOfNothing

The app itself is good The name choices are pretty solid and give plenty of options without too much repeat The history feature is nice especially when I start hitting Get Name too quickly and want to go back The biggest drawback for me is the advertising in the free version I can see the ad bar at the bottom and I have been very careful not to hit it but a few times a minute the whole thing automatically navigates to the App Store so I can buy the advertised app Even if I m not touching the phone at all it goes to the App Store I ll be trying to write down the name it s offered me and I look back at my phone and I m being asked if I want to play Candy Crush If I wanted to play Candy Crush I would have accepted that request a year ago Anyway like I said the app is good for what it does I m terrible at thinking of character names and now in a few easy minutes I have a list to choose from I also have about 8 less units of patience than when I started         Good App But Too Ad Heavy MBiddy88

I am upset as this app looked like exactly what I needed You can t even get past the first ad that fills up the screen to even try the app Remove the ad or fix the bug and it may be worthwhile     Bugged had good potential Morowyn

I tried this app and was immediately disappointed It opened to a casino app ad that filled my phone screen I waited a bit the ad did not go away and the app did not do anything else Eventually I was able to close out of it and delete it This app is nothing more than an embarrassing waste of time a way for the developer to shill some ad money out of sponsors at the expense of a few minutes of your life     Bogus app do not download Dogoferis

This is a wonderful app and I think it should become everyone s chief source for rpg names It is especially helpful for me as a GM I can t come up with good names for every single NPC My last minor character was named Joe I can t wait to use this in my next game However it would be really helpful to include would be Old English names Thanks for such a great app                 A really good app needs more Jet-hiking Barry

I like this app because you can specify the type origin of the generated name I play many MMORPGs and often get sick of entering a name only to have it rejected even the random ones generated by the game itself so comes in handy rather often Also I have never had it crash Ever                     Does its job and does it well Jazehiah

This is a handy app As a GM this really helps when I need to name many NPCs It also comes to the rescue when my players are in need of assistance finding a name for their character The one thing I wish it had was the meanings of the names Overall very nice I really hope they continue to add to and update this app in the future                 Very nice Cerufel

I think you did a good job for having a lot of names for first releasing it but a lot of the Specifically Halfling names seem repetitive All in all I think 3 stars I m excited to see further updates             Good start Chri7
