At 530 pm Im watching the 1100 am Update WHAT GIVES I believe hurricane and tropical storm updates are every 3 hrs I guess I need a more current app Im a little disappointed        Disappointed

As of August 2012 this app will freeze which can be fixed only by rebooting the phone or installing it again to the tune of 399           Prone to freezes

Love it The sattelite images are clear and the info is easy to understand Very easy UI This along with the MyFox news app I believe you are covered to stay ahead of the storm Great job Would love to be able to share the info via Twitter Facebook though Maybe in the next update              Turnkey069

Beautiful app but the satellite animations cause the app to crash more than NASCAR Sad as it would have been the perfect hurricane app if it help the developer its the Atlantic Satellite map that seems to cause a consistent crash every time I open the app        Pretty but crashes slot on my iPhone 4

No live Doppler very old updates A refund would be great We need a 24hr trial before purchase     Very bad quality

UPDATEI love new versions The new black interface is awesome I havent seen that on any other app Also i mentioned animation would be nice and now there is Landscape view also makes it easier to see everything It is now a more complete hurricane app Thanks myFox I am a meteorologist and this is definately one of the better hurricane apps I really like the video updates Tons of images and data Havent had any problems with it yet Good streamlined style Needs a little bit more though hopefully more animation soon update maybe I would def recommend if you are a meteorologist or not                 UPDATE Sweet Good Hurricane coverage

Glad to see this working in iOS4 The streaming video is great and it looks lke this is JUST in time as we have 3 active storms and Earl is gaining strength Also like seeing all the model data and images This is a great app if your a tropical storm watcher                 Nice Update

When you pull up current storms there is no way to tell how current without some date reference        Need Date Reference

UPDATE The developer is VERY responsive and maybe has an inside track on getting fast approval from the app store I promote the latest update to 5 star because every issue that I reported has been fixed Landscape mode viewing is icing on the cake It is a keeper and even if you have another hurricane app you need this one too My original review remains below for reference only GOOD JOB You immediately note that the GUI is not as refined informative or as pleasant as the front runner hurricane app Even though the maps can be zoomed the app really should be able to present the maps in landscape mode as some are quite detailed Exclusive content is always interesting however and allows this app to remain on my iPhone as a companion to the competition Florida temps map is incorrect as it shows Florida Wave Heights we should have both                 Competitive app

I liked this app until I actually needed to use it We live in Florida the hurricane Irene info is not correct in this app I thought after two days the fox hurricane center would notice it but it is not accurate info and not helpful with a Cat 2 barreling down on us This is the very first time I have written a review     Wrong info

During hurricane Isaac the video updates often ran 8 to 12 hours behind The graphic data is nice but nothing special I will probably delete this app        Mediocre at best

The MyFoxHurricane app was the best storm tracking app out there and the newest update makes it even better It has all the tools you need to track storms like satellite views incredible radar official tracks spaghetti models buoy data plus video updates Its like having the national hurricane center in my pocket Great job                 Love the update

On the main page click on Ida Remnants Radar and see it promptly crash the program every time Many other links do the same very disappointing Cannot judge the app if it keeps shutting down Worthless till they fix the bugs Do not believe everything you read on these reviews     Crashes predictably

Very disappointing app Bought it so wouldnt have to load the web version of this site But have only got it to load twice in numerous attempts Wouldnt advise spending the money on this app till the force close bug is resolved     Bought this app this morning only successful in loading twice

Update Still no landscape view on maps Let the red pin top show my location not the developers Sorry but the developer is not responsive to requests as indicated by a previous reviewer My previous review After latest update landscape view is gone except for videos Can you get rid of the red pin top highlighting Florida on the storms map Its distracting A lot of the new features are great But I miss the landscape view as it slightly enlarged the map and made it easier to see the small print           Where

I use this app to stay on top of everything that is going on with the latest tropical storms and hurricanes Having the tracks imagery etc all in one place makes for very quick onestop shopping If you or your loved ones live in hurricaneprone areas or you are just a weather fanatic I recommend this app                 Perfect for keeping up with the tropics

Ive been using this app the entire 2010 season and its been great Everything I could want to know and more Only issue I have is before the 20 update I could read the technical discussion from NHC on specific storms and that is now gone That is a vital feature that saved me alot of time Please fix The NHC discussions are very important Maps are only half the story              Love this app but lost a feature
