Phenomenal radar the best out there always my go to for radar and 7 day forecast The only thing this app is missing is wind alerts Its prediction on wind speed is so far off That is the only reason I gave it a 3 star Lacking in wind speed predictions

Sometimes this app will crash maybe due to a connection issue with their servers Other than that it is great I love the nearby lightning warnings and the graphical display of the past current and forecasted conditions Great app when it works

Nothing new has came around in a long time The app doesnt fit the screen of my iPhone 5s there are gaps on the top and bottom of my screen It seems the app was never updated to accommodate the larger screen when the iPhone 5 came out The app seems stuck on the screen size of the iPhone 4s and earlier models Finally for SEVERAL YEARS NOW the vis clouds feature on the weather maps NEVER WORKS The map will never show clouds I cant believe this feature is still on this app when it fails and is completely useless 100 of the time Its time for a face lift things are getting stagnant I have emailed them and they just said they will add my email to the list of others requesting an update Stagnant needs updated

Ive had this app for a while and it has yet to adapt to the 6s larger screen Also weather alerts and tornado warnings and stuff stays on there for way too long Still the only weather app I have on my phone though because I paid for it Had this app for a while

This is a dated app There hasnt been a single update to this app since I installed it years ago on my iPhone 3GS But amazingly enough it works as well now on my iPhone 5s as it did back then MyCast is my only weather app because its always accurate and the app never crashes If something works dont fix it right Also I feel the radar interface is very detailed and always accurate Warning DO NOT pay for the push alerts I have read in some reviews that they dont work and are a waste of No updates since 2011 but still works

Apparently this app is or is about to become abandonware Which wouldnt be so bad if they werent still making money off of it If you own more than one iOS device definitely do not buy this app They can never figure out which device controls your subscriptions or they tell you youve exceeded the device limit the amount for which Ive been unable to find in the scarce documentation This was a great app 6 or more years ago when I first bought it for my Samsung Instinct I then installed a version on every device Ive owned since Since 2011 Ive been holding out thinking the developers would eventually fix its issues with an update But now I think were done Dont waste your time or money on this crapapp Abandonware

Inaccurate forecasts and extremely unupdated Not good

I only use it with the radar now Their forecasts are almost exact opposites of better more accurate apps This app used to be good so Im not sure whats happened Mused to be great

Absolutely no support No updates for years iPhone screen has gone through how many tech improvements This PAID app doesnt keep up with it They also just turned off their mycast web site Dont waste your time with this app its clear the developer doesnt care about it anymore There are so many more better ones out there now OH and if you do want to throw away 4 then please dont waste another 10 for alerts as they do not always work and as I said the company doesnt respond to support questions Horrible

First I had to repurchase an app I PAID for a couple years ago Then they want 10 to set up the weather alerts Infuriating Pile of crap

Even though this app has not been updated since 2011 it offers the best weather info graph Ive seen From the forecast screen turn your phone landscape it is shows a multi day graph with temp line dew point shaded background wind speeds direction below graph and cloud sun rain coverage above graph It is a really awesome layout I cant find another app with a dew point forecast much less with a dew point forecast that is so visually appealing I live in the SE US and dew points during the warm months are the gauge to look at when determining air comfort Best weather info graph by far

I wish there were precipitation forecast amounts in the daily forecast area If there isnt an advisory you dont mention forecasted precipitation amounts ex 12 inches of snow One suggestion

I paid for severe weather updates And it will not work I cant find an email address to let them know Im very unhappy Cant get severe weather updates

When I rotate the screen and look at the radar the screen rotates back and goes blank I have to close the app and reopen to see the radar right side up And I can NEVER get my current location It can not determine my current location please enter a bookmark or manually enter a location Fix just two thing

People LOOK at the date of the last update 2011 What does that tell you about support from owners Totally irresponsible how this app has been ignored The original designers nailed the design for a 5 star weather app MyCast WAS the model for what is possible Garmin deserves credit for recognizing the beautiful simplicity of MyCast although it is clearly evident they dont care anymore They also deserve the wrath of loyal users for neglecting the genius it represents PLEASE update What a shameful waste of good design and original effort UPDATE

There are newer and flashier apps but this one does it all Have been using it for years now and while I download and delete newer apps this one has never left my iPhone Consistently my go to app I compare the newer apps to this one Simple But Effective

I have been using mycast since before smartphone days It has always been accurate reliable and given the most updated forecast that I have found Im a safety manager I the construction industry and having the lightning alerts are extremely valuable to me Best all around app available

I emailed the developer and they have no plans to update this app It is not updated for the larger iPhone 5 or 6 screens or for iOS8 Its a shame it used to be the best weather app Moved onto Beweather 2

Ive had mycast weather app For many of years its still a good weather app But one thing I miss is the lightning strikes that used to be in the app It would show the lightning strikes as they were moving and the numbers of strikes in real time just like the radar I miss my lightning strikes

I have used this for years My go to weather on my iPhone Im just hoping someday Ill get an update for my Mac air Great App
