My Cashflow HD

This App is so simple and easy to use on my iPad Its not encumbered with a bunch of distractions and unnecessary aesthetics that dont actually help me manage my money It finally allowed me to retire my spreadsheet and makes discussing my finances much easier with the PDF feature The multiple accounts feature is perfect for managing the cash flow of savings individual joint and other accounts all the same time I believe the following enhancements will make the app more effective and user friendly 1 Expense and Revenue Categories Within the item Name and Description section of both Recurring and One Time transactions I would like to be able to select from a predefined andor a customizable list of consumer categories ie Entertainment Groceries Retail etc 2 Filters for Recurring transactions With a growing list of Recurring transactions for multiple accounts it becomes increasingly difficult to quantify whats going in and coming out and from what accounts at a glance Being able to easily filter ie Income MortgageRent Automobile Loan Payments Education and what accounts they are connected to would be very helpful Even simply being able to filter between Credits and Debits would help a lot 3 Totals Under the Balances section Id like the ability to see the total Credit and Debit amounts on a monthly basis After entering your Recurring and One Time CreditsDebits theres currently not a place to easily see the totals for that particular month It would be perfect in the TodayMinimumMaximum balances section of the app Keep up the great workThis is a Top Financial App for sure                 Exactly what Ive been waiting for

Then aging capabilities are great however everything seems to need be manually entered I have 8 account I track and 100s of transactions for different projects If this had a way to draw from those accounts directly instead of manually then this would more useful     Great concept

Cant set the currency Thats it     Cant even change currency

The new version doesnt work on my iPhone 4S The all shows my accounts but does not show any of the information related to them Also it crashes when I try to make a reoccurring payment Also it just deleted all my data Thanks to whoever screwed that up Help please I want to use this soon     Terrible

There are plenty of apps out there that allow you to budget your money and do that well There are not however very many that allow you to forecast your money This one does just that I feel that forecasting is more important than budgeting I know what my bills are I know how much money is coming in What I NEED to know is if I spend x amount of money today how will it affect me tomorrow in three weeks in three months This app tells you You can see ahead and make better decisions about WHEN you can afford to do something Not only is the app useful and beautifully designed the support is fantastic I had an issue emailed their support heard back from them almost immediately and they worked with me to get the problem solved I cant say enough good about them and their app                 Great App Even Better Support

I was using another app for a similar purpose but it was buggy and offered sync but didnt work between my devices This app is much more intuitive to use and the HD ipad and iphone versions sync very nicely when iCloud is enabled I would highly recommend this app for forecasting cashflow LOVE it                 Awesome app

The tap to disable an item feature should have an option to be turned off Too great a chance some disabled item would go unnoticeddestroying the accuracy of the forecast           Good app but

When I create a transaction it wont show the values I change the date or amount but its there when I click done              Great app new version has bugs

I just wanted something to forecast future balance not something to help with budget tracking or analyzing Thats exactly what this does So once regularly occurring transactions are entered I can see for instance if the balance goes negative if I make a large purchase App is very stable I havent messed with Cloud but emailing PDF works fine Many thanks                 Exactly what I need

Quicken 2011 and prior for over 20 years had a major feature that could project cashflows similar to this app Unfortunately they decided to remove this valuable feature and force their customers to upgrade to a dumbeddown version of Quicken that did not have this feature I am really into this type of analysis and have found that this app goes above and beyond most of my requirements I would have rated this 45 stars since there are a couple enhancements Id like but since I see regular updates I will give this a solid 50 and contact the developer with my ideas                 Exactly what Ive been looking for

Using this app has really helped me get an idea of where my money is going Ive used it so many times to figure out if I really can afford this thing or that Seeing how much money Ill have in my retirement savings when Im 60 helps me to better understand my future Seeing how long Ill have until a certain loan is paid off and what 10 extra dollars a payment can do to shorten the life of the loan I dont know what I would do without it                 I better understand my finances now

Was finally able to find an app with a great forecasting feature This let me ditch spreadsheets and manually entering data for each month The forecasting alone made this purchase worth it for me                 Fantastic

I have been waiting for a cash flow app for ages and finally I now have something to replace the quicken on my laptop I think that the appearance of the graph can be improved but it is pretty easy to figure out                 Finally

I could not find any instructions for this app and its not intuitive     No instructions

Warning this developer has released multiple non compatible versions of this app I purchased Cashflows HD last year and thought it was great Then I found the Mac version and paid another 5 for that not realizing that the Mac version would not sync with this app Then I found out that I need to spend another 2 to get a different version that will sync In the meantime I just lost all of my data when I enabled iCloud drive under iOS 8 because this crook couldnt warn people that it was completely incompatible even though it worked with normal iCloud syncing     Was good now crap

Entered my current balance and then I added 1 reoccurring credit which for some reason takes AWAY from my balance instead of adding to it Changed it to a debit and sure enoughit ADDED to my balance Not even going to go into what happened when I tried exploring the override feature Glad it was free Uninstalling     Debits vs Credits

I have been looking for something that helps me plan cash transfers and this app is phenomenal It has streamlined my budgeting and helped me anticipate irregular payments and debits Very user friendly great visuals For future updates it might be nice to have a way to touch the graph and expand or collapse the timeline instead of scrolling down through a years worth of transactions to see the full graph Otherwise really great app                 So unique and so helpful

Ive been looking for app for a while It will certainly replace the spreadsheet on my pc Ill consider giving this tool five stars ifwhen the following enhancements are made Fix the forecasting graph I cant get a snap shot of cash flow six months from now without including all the detail from the previous months Just sum it up and let me slide from period to period unless I want to see it all Let me hide previous monthstransactions I dont always need to see what I was doing two months ago Saving versions would be nice I like to play with different scenarios and it would be nice if I didnt have to track every change I make Interest charges for recurring transactions eg in your savings account Incorporating debt snowballing in some way would be icing on the cake eg let me increase my payments to a debt without having to close the first debt and create a new one to account for the new payment schedule I any case Very solid app              Solid tool

This app is exactly what I was looking for a way to project out a bank balance long and short term to ensure funds are going to be available to cover bills This means I know how much I can leave in savings andor when I might need to transfer money into checking while maximizing how hard my money is working for me I can also time purchase decisions to see what it will do to cash flow down the road and play what if analysis The app is very flexible and allows multiple accounts Transactions are editable so you can estimate something like your power bill and then change it to be exact once you get the bill I use this app along with Pageonce for total control of my money I highly recommend this useful tool                 fantastic

If your like me and rely heavily on apps like these to budget and balance your accounts this is truly the way to go Ive been using this app for 7 months on multiple accounts and today I updated the app and had problems accessing my accounts I reached out via app support and got a response within minutes The team figured out the issue and sent me a work around until apple makes the update available in the App Store Quality app and phenomenal customer service Thanks guys I continue to rate this app 5 stars                 Wonderful app and great customer support

Really loved this app for its simple and effective approach to personal cashflow management filling a real gap in the market However something happened with a recent update so that my Mycashflow HD data in iCloud stopped being accessible and Im faced with reentering all my data        Was great until my data disappeared

The date selection doesnt work every time I try to enter a date the date wheel disappears The forecast graph gets stuck on a twoyear setting and I cant zoom in or out And the app eventually crashed every time I used it Good idea bad programming        Very buggy

This App is a great help in budgeting By being able to input your upcoming expenses as well as your income sources it provides you with a clear picture of your cash balances going forward As you incur actual expenses or unexpected income you enter this information and the App adjusts future cash balances immediately Also I like that I can email my information to my email address and then print it in a very nice report Love this App                 Great App

This app isnt flashy or fancy but it does what it claims and is EXACTLY what I need Ive been looking for an app like this for a long time and have finally been able to ditch spreadsheets to forecast my cash flow and set budgets One bugcomplaint iCloud syncing isnt working on my iPad but works fine on my iPhone One feature request please add semi monthly to the available billing periods              Love it

I dont normally write reviews but this is a solid app and does what it says One thing I would ask for is the addition of monthly totals for recurring transactions It would be really helpful Also a little more clarity on the graph would be nice instead of taking you to forecast tab you can select within graph to have a total pop up Just suggestions Highly recommend                 Nearly Perfect

Love this This will replace the spreadsheets on my computer There was a weird glitch when I add a reoccurring debit with an end date it doesnt show up in my forecast Would love a debt snowball feature like another user suggested I this this app is great shows a wonderful snapshot quick and easy to use fun too Love the reports functions              Love this app

The forecasting works great wa minor bug After modifying a one time transaction several times The app crashed Upon reentry the transaction was completely removed caused the forecast to be incorrect Some awesome items to include would be tags or indicators for Scheduled Paid Balanced etc              Overall Forecasting is great

This app does NOT allow automatic updates or Direct download of your financial institutions info You must manually enter everything I purchased this because I read a review stating that it eliminated manual entry for them each month This person must work for the software creator because they are full of it           Not as some are saying

Ive had this over a year and since ios 8 it became really unstable I backed up to dropbox then reinstalled and I cannot restore the file in drop box Lost a year of data Dont trust the developers of this app to fix the problems Count on losing your data     I agree was good and its now crap

I tried to make this app work oh how I tried this is exactly what I needed to finally retire my spreadsheets Loaded everything up got it matching to my spreadsheets perfect VERY easy to use and figure out Unfortunately it just crashes too much It appears that it cant handle many changes to recurring transactions so I wiped and started over My issue was on weekly day care it was higher in the summer and over holidays So instead I entered each time period as its own recurring transaction which seemed to work but I would have to reenter it every year Theres a lot of other bugs that need to be addressed before I try this again but it has promise U til then I have found another app thats meeting my cash flow needs        Still just too buggy

This overall is a great app to help you manage your expenses It is exactly what I was looking for You are able to budget by adding future expenses You can then modify the expenses to match what they actually were once they have taken place Those that dont change are already there so it is less work than tracking budget and actuals It does need a few enhancements to make it complete 1 I would like to be able to have more control of the order of transactions within a date I want my credits first Sometimes it looks as if Im short when I really wont be 2 I would like to be able to categorize expenses and then have a monthly report that shows the categories down the side and the days across the top with balances so I can see everything in one page If I had those 2 things I would give this app 5 stars              Almost there

Ive been using this app for years now previously used MS Money and Excel The idea behind it is nice and simple it only really cares about future transactions Youre not required to update the starting balance or fuss over every small transaction but for checking accounts etc with a lot of activity its good to update the start balance every few weeks so its starting from your last bank statement You do need to manually disable or delete manual transactions or overrides though the app deliberately leaves those alone Toggling Use iCloud switches between two data stores its not losing your data toggle it back to prove it To get your data into iCloud you first need to export it to iTunes or Dropbox then toggle Use iCloud on then import back from iTunes Dropbox              Great app

This app has so many great features I had a hard time finding an app that displayed a forecast on a graph This one does just that so I can easily see when my balances will be low and will need to transfer funds The ability to toggle a transaction is great for whatif scenarios I also like that recurring items can be based on percentagesto estimate credit card interest charges It doesnt automatically pull transactions from bank accounts but Im too paranoid about security to use that type of feature anyway The only enhancement its missing is the ability to view the forecast for multiple accounts                 Awesome App

I started using this app last November and fell in love It is easy to use and I really love the graphing feature which shows the expected cash flows into the future I had just decided that Ive come to rely on the app quite a bit and so I turned on the iCloud synch and downloaded it to my phone I was about to give it a 5star rating When I opened the app today ALL OF MY DATA HAD DISAPPEARED Has this happened to others Is there any way to get my info back other than the tedious resetup process How can this app regain my trust I really do believe that this app has a lot of potential and would like to use itbut not if there is a continued potential to lose everything     From dream to nightmare

As mentioned in other reviews forecasting is a critical component in how I manage money I had used MS Money for is purpose but for the last few years since its retirement Ive been looking for a replacementthere really arent any that match up This is a great app which can give you the visibility into finances necessary to answers all of the questions that come up month to month highly recommended                 Forecasting fills the gap of MS Money Retirement

Update On August 6 I updated my review with a suggestion to add a feature to sync information between devices Three days later on August 9 Dropbox sync support was supported That makes this app almost perfect for people who want to budget in a forecasted cash flow mode Should be a top 50 financial app Original Review Below I have been looking for an app that can give me a forecast for my various accounts over time and this works very well The override function is nice It lets you put in budgets or approximations for repeating bills and then override the next payment once you know the actual bill without messing up your future forecast Great for things like utility bills that vary This is a great tool for me to motivate myself to control discretional spending by looking at the impact of holding the line over time                 Darn near perfect
