Motion Math is Doodle Jump meets learning Its easy to learn but addictive and a great way to teach fractions My 7yearold who struggles with fractions likes to play this as much as her other noneducational games and it had an immediate affect on her math tests Other educational app developers should took note and make there titles this fun Game developers should take note and find ways to incorporate learning into their games so they can do a service to children in addition to entertaining them                 Addictive Learning

Ive tried many math apps games and programs for my kids Motion Math is the only game that my kids would prefer to play over a real game And they seem to actually be learning from it too The combination of those two wins makes this the best math app out there                 The best math app Ive tried

My 6 56 year old girl really enjoys this and has been getting better at understanding fractions One complaint is that I cant figure out how to get to the main menu on launch It always runs through the demo and game first              Good

Much more fun than a lot of flash card apps out there its quite addicting and it really teaches fractions and percents Well worth it                 VERY ENGAGING tilt game

This has to be one of the most fun ways to learn about fractions ever invented Kind of like a highspeed Tetris that hinges on your understanding of some basic mathematical concepts Kids will love it But dont get the wrong impression parents its actually not all that easy to recognize and sort the various numbers as they fall down the screen A delightful combination of tactile and mental stimulation                 Awesome way to learn about fractions

As an educator technologist and former educational software designer I know good instructional software when I see it and Motion Math is the real deal Fractions are a difficult concept for kids and even some adults to comprehend and the simple intuitive interface of MM coupled with an engaging and challenging game format multiple levels of play and three levels of difficulty makes this program a wonderful addition to the math classroom for home schooling or simply for an engaging yet educational game for the kids in your household Both proper and improper fractions in all of their forms including decimals and pie charts representations are there for children to discover equivalencies This is not an easy task for the beginning math student At the harder levels MM is a great game for adults who want to keep their minds sharp Both audiences will appreciate the smooth graphics and clever sound effects You can track your high scores challenging yourself to improve or enabling friendly competition between players As an educator and an all girls school I am aware of some research that indicates that the spatial reasoning of adolescent girls lags slight behind that of boys MM may be a useful way to address this Perhaps the developers will look into this area I look forward to other releases from this group I think they have a bright future ahead of them in the area of educational gaming                 Fantastic Aid for Teaching Fractions

I bought this game for my daughter because she was struggling to master fractions but loves games and challenges She had Fun and didnt even realize she was learning I hope the creators update with a pauseresume and then they have my five stars              Solid educational game

Ok this is a really great game It manages to be fun and educational at the same time My 7 year old keeps telling me about each new level he reaches Great app great price too                 Kids love it

Thanks for the update I have really enjoyed playing this game along with my 8year old daughter and 6year old son It is fun and educational and believe me we have tried so hard to find games that are both Fantastic innovative use of the tilt function look forward to seeing more games that are fun and dont just waste neurons                 Great Game

I use this app with my 4th and 5th grade students on my classroom iPod Touches They keep asking to play this game and love beating their score from previous weeks Besides giving good fractional number sense and using number lines when a student gets something wrong it scaffolds and gives them more clues to get it right the next time In that sense its a miniteacher Only complaint is that since we share the iPods they wish there was some type of login or way to save their progress from previous times It would build better off of what they know rather than start again from the beginning Also kids that have gone through many levels are looking for the next challenge Otherwise all great things to say about this app Its addicting                 Kids keep asking to play

Its great for estimating fraction Good review for middle schoolers Id really like to see an update to the graphics that make kids want to play this The format of traveling to different levels and having the dropping fraction be related to that levels theme is good I know a lot of my students would benefit from this game but they wont play it because of the graphics PLEASE UPDATE You created an awesome game           Great game Needs new graphics

This is a great game that seems to span several age groups I found myself getting a refresher course on my fractions all while staying engaged level after level Highly recommend                 Surprisingly challenging
