I set up an old jailbroken iPad Mini Smart Mirror build to launch Morning every morning and every time I come back home It s a wonderful way to get at a glance information even from across the room I realize I may not be the target demographic but simple dashboard apps like this are hard to come by these days Awesome job from the devs please keep it up                     I use it everyday with my Smart Mirror build Awesome app colinmansfield

I love pretty much everything about it except that you can t input a walking or biking time for your morning commute I walk to work but because driving is the only option the apps time estimate is incorrect If they could fix that that d be great                 Great Except one thing Karenna1914

You shouldn t have to pay for this app at its current developmental stage It lacks important customization features like adding a public transit feature under the commute option Also lacking is the ability to define types of categories to get suggestions for blogs and news sources to add to your feed I e politics entertainment sports etc I contacted the developer months ago about the commute option and received a response right away that sympathized but it hasn t done anything to actually have this feature added Ultimately I don t use the app because of these lacking features and won t recommend the app to others until they are added         No Public Transit Option jktaylor2007

Pretty and clean interface reminds me of the now defunct app Mynd sadly it all goes flat from there The app has no real functionality For example you can t interact with your calendar appointments so it is really just a picture of what your calendar has on it Want to dive into the weather Can t get more than the temperature Generally you need to interact with the data even with the welcome and sparse GUI which I prefer If they can get to that point it is a hands down winner but without more function it is just a pretty car without an engine             Nice car with no engine Qdo312

This app is pretty cool but it s kind of pointless without an alarm clock function Maybe it could also start playing music or a news weather broadcast at the preset alarm time             Needs alarm clock for 5 stars tommy h2517

Really great app but needs a little more customization I do love that it doesn t try to be too flashy or do more than what is necessary but below I ve outlined a few more panels I d like to see to give it my full endorsement Unfortunately it s only real competition I ve seen is My Dashboard and My Home Screen which are more annoying than an old MySpace profile They are obsessed with social media and offer very little home and family productivity support A couple additions I d love to see 1 Changing commute time to show time to the location of your next calendar appointment rather than a fixed location 2 A shipment tracking update panel 3 Mailbox panel 4 A panel to display and rotate through iPad photos 5 a panel to display location of friends in my case wife and kids sharing location in find my friends app It looks like nothing new has been added since it was first released Just bug fixes and platform updates They ll need to add something big and new to stay ahead of the competition or else I feel some new app will come along and edge them out             Great with potential Anthonysim

I bought this app for my wife she normally asks me for all of this information in the morning It works well and she seems to like it 4 stars because it is good but I would prefer more functionality rather than being able to buy more colors 1 The weather needs to include wind speed because you choose your outfit with this is mind 2 Needs music controls Play Pause previous track next track and song playing information 3 This is less important but my wife goes to a different office everyday so it would be nice to choose from a list of recent locations                 Good app Preyen

At first I thought this was a great idea Stupid me I didn t realize that everything I could get from Morning I can get for free by pulling down the notifications on my phone that were already there Morning charges you for the same info except is is lower quality You can even adjust the map to pick alternate routes I wish I had my money back Bummer         Widgets in pull down works just as well GbgbgbgB222

Please juts list the next N items of the selected calendar in its pane I use this in my kitchen and only being able to see today s items prevents me from using Morning This is a great dashboard app but the advantage of leaving it running all the time is its ability to remind me of upcoming events Morning can t do that Please consider just showing a list of upcoming events in the calendar pane instead of just Today s events             Needs more calendar items Jon Maddox

I like the idea of having this app as the one I go to first thing It looks great mostly functions well double tapping needs some work and allows for some customization It is also one of those apps that is programmed right for touch Nice job That said it needs more especially for the price What would be useful is to allow for more customization especially the iPad version It s beautiful but it needs more oomph Love this little app and I look forward to more from it             Great concept Needs more Nealski

It s true that this is pretty minimalist as other reviewers have said but in some ways that s part of its appeal for me I like being able to see at a glance just the task I need to work on next just my next appointment etc It gives me a valuable snapshot of where I m at in my day at any given moment I do wish you could customize it to for instance draw to dos from something other than the reminders app I use Remember the Milk I d also like to be able to edit tasks events right in the app So yes it would be better if it were more tweakable but I still find it worthwhile as is                 A good way to focus my day MountainProf

It s not worth more than 99 right now considering what s out there Little annoyances frustrate the main one is I can t figure out the trick to tapping on the news article just right to open the page and it s often the wrong page if it does open Also the work timer shouldn t be labeled work let it be for anyplace you re going to make it more flexible I like the countdown weather and reminders This app just needs more to make it worthy of the price An alarm would be nice and a package delivery notification for example Making me pay to turn it different colors is ludicrous Besides all that this is a nice start to a cool looking one stop shop         2 stars to push the devs Dr.Diamond

As I find my days getting busier and busier especially when I m traveling for work and am totally out of my element I love the idea of having Morning as my hub for info on what s going on today not only for me personally but also in the wider world which I often totally miss while traveling Plus the design is simple easy and pretty Nice addition to my daily tools                     No more toggling between apps b*squared

I found this a terrible waste of money It s really pretty but can t do anything that Google Now can t do much much better I really don t understand what justifies this price other than the pretty design that costs you another buck if you want to change it beyond the three built in ones The display of news is the worst part giving you no indication of what you are going to get if you tap on the headline of which mostly only parts are displayed So I wouldn t recommend spending four bucks here     Not enough Michael Jarjour

Morning is a great way to have a dashboard that gives you an overview of the day Two suggestions 1 The method for editing panels and clicking on news links is a little clunky and non obvious What makes it harder is that there s no apparent way to learn the gestures and taps that control the experience 2 It would be great to have a customizable HTML panel or something of that sort that would let you code in what you want the dashboard to show you                 Useful Varun Pramanik
