What an outstanding app Spurgeons devotional in book form has proven to be such a blessing in my life And now I may say the same for this wonderfully simple app Many thanks to its creators it has already earned a spot on the front screen of my iPhone So simple yet so powerful
The narraters voice and manner is uppety and hoity toitey Guess if you like old school thees and thous and shakespeare this might be the app for you Very drool
I highly recommend this devotional to every Christian Great theology and encouragement every day The best devotional ever written
The UI is great and the narrator is great I wish the text is also included so we can read the devotion during times audio is not permitted and headphones are unavailable Great app
What happened to the evening Evening
Pro I enjoy listening and the audio is great Being read by a British man gives me the sense of hearing Spurgeon speaking this himself Cons It really needs the text instead of looking at an image No support link that works Great audio but text is needed
I use this app on my iPod touch with wifi and like it a lot I appreciate being able to listen to the devotional when I might not have had time to read it otherwise Volume is a little soft but narration is good automatically loads the current days devotional Great app Succinct and helpful good narration
This is probably a useful app for the iPhone but not for the iPod Touch It needs wifi or 3g to hear the messages If it is unmanageable to include all of the audio with the app it would be more useful if it downloaded the messages daily or weekly more like a podcast Only usable with wifi or 3G
Download the CCEL Bible if you want to view the text to these audio for free I love this app but I wish they would make it that you can listen to the audio offline for the sake of itouch users like myself I would certainly pay for it if they did Beautiful
I cant imagine starting a day or going to bed without listening to the teachings of Spurgeon This man obviously walked with our Lord The British accent is quite calming Love it Every morning and evening
I have seen the good reviews for this app and I am sure I would enjoy it too if it would work for me It streams about 10 seconds of audio then quits I have not heard even one devotion Im disappointed BTW it is not my connection I have great cell service and the latest wifi Internet and iPhone I daily stream internet radio on my phone Why wont this stream I even tried reinstalling it to no avail Pls fix It doesnt work for me
I love this app Being able to listen to the great Charles Spurgeons devotional is a beautiful way to begin and end ones day Wonderful

Ive been waiting for this app or something like it Ive done ME podcasts before but this is superconvenient My only hope would be to have some text to readalong to Oh and the voice theyve used is perfect I imagine Chuck speaking with this voiceaccent too Audio is Good Readalong text would be Great
I have read Morning and Evening in book form etext and even have the audio book format This is by far my favorite format I love that it instantly takes you to the correct day and time morning or evening and it plays the audio If you skip a day it moves ahead with you to the correct date And if you really want to make up the days you missed you can easily slide the calendar back to the dates you want It also lets you bookmark the passages you want to refer back to or share with a friend The audio quality and narration are great It added a nice devotional thought to the end of my day as I sat on the front porch watching the sun go down Best Format
