This is the best handheld GPS app that I found And I have purchased several The developers have added features regularly and each version is getting better Here are the fixes improvements that I would like consideration for a five star rating 1 Report altitude in feet Today anything over 5280 feet is reported as 1xx miles 2 Updating waypoint text after creation doesnt work properly Only the first waypoint text can be updated after creation 3 Allow the user to change the order of waypoints 4 Consider incorporating compass styling similar to Apples Compass app 5 Change the UI to allow a swipe through pages vs menu or button selection 6 Separate the map and trip details into separate pages and allow the user to select which fields to display in the trip details Very Good GPS App what would make this great

I use this app when I am outside of the US exploring a foreign city It allows me to drop points and navigate back to a certain point such as my hotel without having to try and readremember foreign street signs Also works well without any cell service which is common when abroad with a US Cell Plan As stated in the description maps wont load without data but you can pre load them over wifi and at least have a certain area for reference Great app Great for no cell service situations

There is a serious flaw in this app When a waypoint is deleted the distance to that point still shows unless the app is closed and reopened The developer did not respond to my concern Dont buy unless its fixed Dont buy

If you want an app for land nav this is the app Im army infantry and we do enough land navigation for me to try this out Its worth buying It takes some getting use to and figuring it out but itll get you to your points or even tell you where youre at and the compass is very accurate Great for military use

It works great grid will be off a little since Ive used it its only been 5075m off Max and I was not getting fantastic service so if ur service is good where you are you should be good to go If u are camping traveling Military throw the couple dollars you will not be disappointed Tracking Traveling Camping Military

I totally agree with reviewer 11 SoapZ I personally find this App useless except if you need a basic compass and altimeter without a USER GUIDE USER INSTRUCTIONS HELP GUIDE etc To text for help to figure out how everything or anything else works or what else is there on this app is asinine A multitude of free compassnav apps to get without pulling my hair out of my head trying to decipher this puzzle of an app and the compass is 12 degrees off from my two other nav apps and my Sunto Compass So whats the point Not intuitive at all unless maybe Im an idiot NEXT APP Thanks for nothing Wheres the User Guide
I was going to buy a Garmin gps to practice orienteering but this few dollar app does everything I could ask It will bring up your current location in a 10 digit MGRS grid coordinate A great app for MGRS
Not very good if you want to know where I am south of the Equator It give me a reading north It is the correct degrees just the wrong hemisphere When I return to North America I guess it will work in the opposite degrees Mr Me I Guess

Just what I was looking for only thing missing is the ability to download maps for offline use as theres usually no connectivity in the woods but developer told me theres an update coming to download maps then it will be perfect Almost perfect

Downloaded this app a couple of days ago and it wouldnt find my location I was able to put in WPs but the app couldnt tell me where I was After an email to their custom support Andrew responded quickly and let me know they were working on a fix A couple hours later the new version was out and its been working great ever since Thanks for the quick response and good customer service Good with update
App doesnt work at all Every time I put in a new grid the app crashes Once I open it up again itll point me in the wrong direction and always says Im the same distance away from my point no matter how far I walk I emailed customer service and havent heard anything back from them Not worth it
