This app was great until I recently updated to iOS 8 It gets hung up a few seconds after opening it PLEASE FIX ASAP My kids love this app Doesnt work with new OS 8 update
Finally pulled the trigger and signed up for membership and since then it wont even open We see the cloud screen and then it quits Not sure if this has to do with ios8 or notbut I wont be a member for long if it isnt fixed ASAP All it does is crash
This app works flawlessly and is worth every penny We use it every night before bed and love that it has the classics as well as new reads for all ages Awesome Amazing

Please fix Since updating to iOS8 the app is not working well Numerous books are not loading I am a monthly subscriber and am canceling because of these very frustrating issues IOS8 broke this

I got this app with a free trial and then tried to unsubscribe I went to the online site and it said that I had to unsubscribe from my app since that is where I originally got it Went to the online app and there is no way to unsubscribe Now I am spending all of this time trying to figure out a way just to unsubscribe before I get charged for it Tough to unsubscribe

I regularly use this app to encourage my children to read They could choose to either read the book themselves or have the book read to them Its great in the car and particularly helpful while they sit in the shopping cart as I make sure to get everything on my list I loved this app so much that I even submitted my own childrens books to them which were published The Popcorn Predicament and Little Brooke Awesome Book App for kids
It was nice and easy access at first then books wont reload after ending my subscription Wasted all my monthly payment Wasted monthly and lost all d books I downloaded
Its a great app when its working As described by other recent reviews the app hangs upon startup Reinstalling may get you past this but the data is gone My preschooler used this every night for the past couple months so just too much work to replace Unfortunately for paying members they havent updated the app to support ios8 Were already on 81 the latest as of writing this review and each day is wasted until this is fixed inevitably forcing us to cancel our membership Its an unfortunate situation Please remedy asap Im willing to wait another week Good product poor support

Horrible books that are a gimmick to get you to sign up for a monthly auto renew subscription that is almost impossible to unsubscribe from This is my first review and the only reason Im writing is because I want to warm people about how awful this app is Terrible
Subscribed to an app we thought was finally going to bring us books virtually but I would hit read and it would say preparing but freeze and close itself out I tried uninstalling and installing app but NEVER WORKED NEVER WORKED

I cant unsubscribe because the web site says you have to manage your account from the device you used to purchase the app but there is no option to unsubscribe within the app cant unsubscribe
My older son has been reading with MeeGenius for almost 3 years and now his younger brother 2 years is getting into them as well Wide variety of books and great selection that appeal to both Family favorite
Locks up way too much to be worth the trouble Deleted app and reinstalled to try to fix it but when inreinstalled I was charged a monthly subscription rate Lame Same as others great When it works
Dont download Purchased horrible books and then I couldnt cancel the automatic renewal Glad to say I found out how TO CANCEL go inside your settings On the left hand side click on ITunes Apps Click on your Apple ID Enter your password Scroll down to subscriptions and select what you want to change Turn to off for automatic renewal Hope this helps Horrible

We unfortunately paid for the subscription and then the app stopped loading All we had to do was delete and reload to make it work again but all downloaded books were gone And a day later it stopped loading again Not worth the effort Stopped Loading

Long time user of MeeGenius but once I upgraded to iOS 8 the app started crashing a lot on me So far this update seems to be working much better My boys are so happy to be able to read their books again Working for me again on iOS 8
The subscription is expensive the individual books are unreal You literally could buy a physical copy of some of these books for the price of these The books are hardly interactive but thats not a huge deal to me My little one loves to listen to books we do not watch television this is his alternative and does not like to have to flip the pages himself as this app requires But the narrators are also dull and the selection of books is poor a lot of things weve never heard of and we are HUGE readers I spend a lot in the App Store as my sons only alternative but this just isnt worth even the subscription Expensive boring poor selection
Hope my grandson learns as much as I think he will Great learning tool

A 5 monthly subscription for pitiful stories and if your child wants to read stories from a known author the quality books are 5 each Very disappointing My child complained how boring these books were The only ones he was interested in we would have to pay extra money for Thank goodness a 30 day free trial was offered One more con is no unsubscribe button at least they have a contact us button Fortune hunters
